An elderly nurse who was badly injured after being attacked at a Los Angeles transit bus stop has died of her injuries at a hospital where she worked for 38 years, her employer announced on Sunday.
Sandra Shells, 70, was attacked by a homeless man at about 5.15 a.m. on Thursday near Vignes Street and Cesar Chavez Avenue, half a mile away from Union Station, while she was waiting to catch a bus to her job at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.(Snip)Later that same day, police arrested Kerry Bell, a 48-year-old homeless man who was found sleeping

There's a "homeless encampment" nearby the bus station, which has cameras everywhere, including just above where the woman was murdered at random. Others including hospital employees have reported being attacked by members of the local Unhoused Community, but nothing is done about it because the agencies that run New America are firm in their commitment that a complete breakdown of societal norms is for our own good, and 90% of the public nods in agreement.

Another productive citizen murdered by a worthless parasite that should be permanently institutionalized. Much more important to inflict these mental defectives on society though, since it is so unfair to keep them locked up and safe away from other citizens.
Close the asylums, and clean out the jails. People will just have to take their chances in the name of 'equality'.

Think about it. We are hearing that states Like Washington might be opening concentration camps for those who refuse to be vaccinated but these same states CANNOT keep mentally ill or serial criminals/murderers in mental hospitals or prisons? What is wrong with this?

Homeless can be of any race, but the absence of a picture makes me want to bet Win, Place and Show. I may be wrong, but profitable in the long run.

"Shortly after police conducted a major search in the immediate area, a suspect, later identified as Kerry Bell, was taken into custody. Bell is in his 40s and is experiencing homelessness. Police say he isn't known to have a mental illness, but he did have a police record with multiple violent crimes."
"Enriquez added Shells had an affinity for the homeless population.
"She just made sure they were well taken care of and got the resources that they need…she was the kindest person that I ever worked with," Enriquez said."

The angles and details of the crime stories are quite selective and deliberately mislead. But the sheer number of them tells us something.

All of this money being spent needs to be diverted to building new prisons and hospitals for the criminally insane. They need to be permanent housing till death us do part.

As a general rule of thumb, it's better to avoid any street named for MLK or Cesar Chavez, especially at night. May nurse Sandra's soul rest in peace.

Sorry to disagree, Poster#2, but institutionalized is to little, too late. These psycho killers need to be terminated!

First a story of a grad student working in an L.A. furniture store killed by a homeless guy, now a nurse killed by a homeless person. Round these homeless up, along with the people robbing trains, and just shoot them. Mental cases or not, they don't deserve to live anymore. They are a drain on society.

Chris Rock famously said - - that if you find yourself on MLK Boulevard - - you're in the wrong part of town.
I think the same thing applies to Cesar Chavez Avenue - - don't go anywhere near it.

Gather up all these mentally deficient homeless slugs and bus/ fly them to Delaware. They seem to like demented crazies up there, at least they have for the past 47+ years, judging by their constantly re-elected US Senator, VP and now, Pretendisent.

No motive for why the "unhoused individual" launched a random attack on an elderly productive member of society. Photos of the victim and the attacker are unavailable.
