Kamala Harris blunders her way through
her latest TV interview

A day ago, Vice-President Kamala Harris sat down for a wide-ranging one-on-one interview with NBC’s Craig Melvin. Melvin asked Harris about the Biden administration's lack of progress in the fight against COVID-19. He inquired why they haven't updated guidelines on masks since public health officials acknowledge that cloth masks are not as effective as KN95s and N95s masks. Harris was also asked about Biden’s divisive rhetoric on the Voting Rights Bill during his speech in Atlanta and why the administration hasn’t been able to convince moderate Democrats to vote for their bill.

If Kammy was chosen to make Biteme impeachment proof that was potentially a smart move. What wasn't smart is the fact that Biteme is 78 years old and could go at any time or lose his mind so badly that he would have to be removed under the 25th amendment. Then the Dems are stuck with someone far worse. Maybe they didn't take those things into account when they nominated her.

Correct, #1, their only objective was to "win" the 2020 election. They obviously didn't think things through beyond that. Every democrat objective so far has been accomplished with either very poor planning or great Marxist planning. We LDotters know what it takes to keep up on current events, about 1 to 2 hours a day on this site. Kamala and Psaki are too stupid to do that and maybe sound intelligent when they speak. Joe is a lost cause whether he updates himself or not.

One of the annoying habits of liberals is their inability to see the consequences of actions. They think having electric vehicles will help to solve the (imaginary) climate crisis but they never think about where the electricity will come from. And don’t even get me started on lithium mining!

I think Lifson's postscript is spot on: this is the opening gambit of a Kamala Koup, followed by the replacement of Sleepy Joe by the new Veep. Biden's unpopularity is behind a great deal of the Dems' polling deficit, so they plan to address that by dumping Joe and putting in a hand-picked commissar. (I think the Clintons have worn out their welcome, and the party will pick some new face, the kind that Dem voters swoon over.) This will enable them to go into November with a fresh slate of empty promises. I hope and pray that swing voters aren't gullible enough to fall for it.

Biden was chosen by Obama for kind of the same reasons. He didn't look or sound better, he was old. They put him in unimportant meetings and celebrations. Only Biden was smart enough to make lots of money off it and he was happy. As for Hillary in the White House will she bring Bill? Will he try for better than eight young girls that Epstein brought? Will she bring back the things they stole? Too much baggage.

If Hillary finds her way to the presidency (by her characteristic underhanded manipulation), the the GOP must select Trump as Speaker of the House. He need not be a member of Congress for that role. Von Pantsuit’s head would explode.

Supreme Court Does Joe Biden's Dirty Work

Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate for companies with 100 or more employees officially went into effect on Monday and companies are scrambling to figure out how to force employees to comply. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court is sitting on its hands, refusing to rule, and compelling employers to enforce Biden’s totalitarian mandate. On December 15, 2021 a three-judge panel for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit ruled that the lower Louisiana federal court only had the authority to block the mandate in the 14 states that had actually filed suit

There is a real possibility that the European Union (EU) will endure major fuel shortages this winter. Record-high electricity prices are currently the norm with no end in sight. Russian president Vladimir Putin astutely understands that the EU heavily relies on Russian natural gas, which the Nord Stream 1 and now 2 (NS2) natural gas pipeline will provide. This $11 billion line to the German coast spanning 764 miles under the Baltic Sea will double the capacity of Russian natural gas and be used as a geopolitical leverage point against Ukraine, Poland, NATO, the EU, and most of all Germany, the largest economy in the EU.

It started in Chicago, where an incredible 91% of union teachers voted to go on strike and refused to do what they get paid to do, which is teach. Then the union walkouts spread to Maryland, New Jersey and California. Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, a liberal Democrat, has attacked the Chicago teachers unions for "holding kids hostage." She is right. Why doesn't she call a state of emergency and disband the union to save the children from the union terrorists? Or tear up the contract because the unions have violated it? If she did, she would be a hero.
What Issue Was Really at the Heart of
the Civil War, and is it Relevant Today?

Most Americans today have a romanticized (and extraordinarily narrow) historical understanding of the conflict that we call the Civil War. In their imaginations, it goes something like this: With passions inflamed by a moral renaissance in the North regarding the institution of slavery in the South, the two sides decided to go to war over the issue. In the end, the evil South was righteously razed by the armies of the North, and thus, slavery was ended, and the former slaves made American citizens, as Abraham Lincoln intended.
There’s A Reason No One Likes Kamala Harris 38 replies

Most people look at the choice of Kamala Harris for Vice President and scratch their head. “Why would anyone pick a person so wildly devoid of political talent or even the basics of likability?” they wonder. The conventional wisdom is that she checked the right number of boxes to fulfill left-wing interest group demands, which is partially true, of course. Overlooked, however, is how there is one more, rather good and important reason Joe Biden, or really any politician, would pick someone like Harris: because by comparison, you’ll always look better. Harris is such a singularly grating personality that she polls lower than lemon juice on an open wound.

There were a lot of head-smacking moments during oral arguments before the Supreme Court regarding Joe Biden’s OSHA vaccine mandate for companies with more than 100 employees. Even though I know the left wing of the court is packed with totalitarians, it always takes my breath away to hear them opine about how the government should be allowed to exercise almost unlimited power over Americans, and their cavalier attitude about the rights of individuals. What I did not expect to hear was Ohio Solicitor General Ben Flowers—a Republican appointee—arguing before the court that the state essentially has unlimited power to force individuals to take a vaccination.

Make no mistake about it, leftists lie. This is especially true of leftists in politics and the media. In fact, on most any matter dear to the left’s perverse agenda, one is safer assuming that the leftist you’re hearing or reading is lying. Thus, almost no one should’ve been surprised at the wild (and numerous) lies hurled by Supreme Court Justices Elena Kagan, Stephen Breyer, and Sonia Sotomayor during oral arguments over the Biden Administration’s private sector Wuhan Virus vaccine mandate.

The Smithsonian didn’t settle for a replica of the Wright Flyer, it would only accept the real thing, and that’s what’s hanging in the National Air & Space Museum in Washington. Reality used to be the Smithsonian’s prime directive. Now? They’re now building a new collection, but it’s not devoted to science, history, industry, or anything so unifying and uplifting. The Smithsonian’s new collection is nakedly political and linked to lies. And it’s not the first time.

President Joe Biden was not making a 'human' comparison between opponents of his voter rights push with racists and segregationists in a speech this week, said the White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on Friday. Rather he simply meant to compare the actions of those who opposed reform with the likes of George Wallace and other notorious figures. The clean-up came after critics accused Biden of divisive rhetoric, and the president has since seen his initiative collapse as two hold-out Democratic senators said they could not support his plan to change Senate rules in order to pass the legislation.
