I’m not a Packers fan, but what quarterback Aaron Rodgers said should make you one at least for this season. In fact, I want Green Bay to win the Super Bowl. I want Aaron Rodgers to get his second ring. I want him to win NFL MVP as well. Why? Well, one NFL MVP voter said he can’t vote for the future Hall of Fame quarterback (snip) "I don't think you can be the biggest jerk in the league and punish your team and your organization and your fan base the way he did and be the Most Valuable Player," Arkush said, via USA Today.

Comments:

Well the Braves, whose name has yet to be changed and whose hometown city had the all star game take away, won the World Series. Wouldn’t it be great for the Packers and Rogers to win a super bowl championship and stick it to hub…cap and his fellow socialist soy boy sports scribblers?

I don’t give a hoot about football, no matter who is playing. But I do love this guy - he has the courage to shove the leftist garbage right back into the leftists’ faces.

Aaron Rodgers is having fun poking the leftists. While on MNF/Manning's show he had the book Atlas Shrugged behind him. The left has been freaking out. I was listening to Pat McAfee show on Aaron Rodgers Tuesday and he was asked about the book and he said he's never read it, just placed there... Ha! He knew they'd freak out just by seeing the book. Aaron Rodgers has a book of the week that he announces every Tuesday on McAfee's show. It's good radio and funny.

It can’t be mere coincidence that Aaron Rodgers and Ayn Rand have the same initials. There’s a right-wing conspiracy in there somewhere.

The "Score" used to be a sports radio station that got it's launch on the tidal wave of the 1985 Bears enthusiasm. They became unbearable as they became less and less about sports and more and more about establishing their own individual personal social relevancy. They come off as smug, arrogant and could never resist playing the "I'm smarter than you" card with callers who just wanted to call and have some fun talking about their team. For the callers it's their play time and in general they have real jobs so no they don't know as much as those eat live and breathe sports entertainment all day every day. And these sphincters get satisfaction out of talking down to, laughing at, and ridiculing their would be customers who support them? Their "winning" the call is no more a victory than the guy beating women in swimming Will "Lia" Thomas. They have taken that same perch of superiority into the real world of complex social issues where they are the pantywaists and make utter fools of themselves. Classic Dunning Krueger effect in action. Go Packers.....Go Rogers....thought I'd never put that in writing.

Rodgers seems to have put a burr under somebody's saddle. Alleged bad boys in sports have historically had their behavior overlooked as long as they deliver wins. John Mackinroe, Bill Kilmer, Mike Tyson, Tiger Woods, various Indy and NASCAR drivers, all had their names dragged through the mud for behavior on and off the field but every time they won they were "heroes" once again.

I think most of the teams and players in the NFL would love to be punished by a quarterback the way the Green Bay Packers have been this year. Being led by a Hall of Fame quarterback on a team with thirteen wins and the number one seed in the playoffs. I think many players would love to be punished that way.

Republican-Appointed Ohio Solicitor General
to SCOTUS: The State Can Mandate Vaccines

There were a lot of head-smacking moments during oral arguments before the Supreme Court regarding Joe Biden’s OSHA vaccine mandate for companies with more than 100 employees. Even though I know the left wing of the court is packed with totalitarians, it always takes my breath away to hear them opine about how the government should be allowed to exercise almost unlimited power over Americans, and their cavalier attitude about the rights of individuals. What I did not expect to hear was Ohio Solicitor General Ben Flowers—a Republican appointee—arguing before the court that the state essentially has unlimited power to force individuals to take a vaccination.

Make no mistake about it, leftists lie. This is especially true of leftists in politics and the media. In fact, on most any matter dear to the left’s perverse agenda, one is safer assuming that the leftist you’re hearing or reading is lying. Thus, almost no one should’ve been surprised at the wild (and numerous) lies hurled by Supreme Court Justices Elena Kagan, Stephen Breyer, and Sonia Sotomayor during oral arguments over the Biden Administration’s private sector Wuhan Virus vaccine mandate.

Say one thing for the once-august Smithsonian Institution: When they decide to do something, they go big. The Smithsonian didn’t settle for a replica of the Wright Flyer, it would only accept the real thing, and that’s what’s hanging in the National Air & Space Museum in Washington. Reality used to be the Smithsonian’s prime directive. Now? They’re now building a new collection, but it’s not devoted to science, history, industry, or anything so unifying and uplifting. The Smithsonian’s new collection is nakedly political and linked to lies. And it’s not the first time.

I know from the volume of email I’ve received on it that Ted Cruz’s comments on January 6, 2021, calling it “a violent terrorist attack on the Capitol” have outraged many conservatives. Ted was once the darling of intellectually inclined conservatives, but I think the bloom is now off that rose. Tucker Carlson used video of Cruz’s comments as the keystone of a segment on how Republicans are being cowardly and granting Democrats their false premises on the riot at the Capitol being an insurrection or even a “terrorist attack.” As Tucker put it, he was delivering talking points for Merrick Garland

Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers has become persona non grata to progressives. Which is, truthfully, a remarkably easy feat. He started irritating them around a year ago when he criticized politicians who didn’t obey their own COVID-19 mandates. More recently he deplored the “woke mob” and “cancel culture.” The woke mob became truly apoplectic when Rodgers wasn’t clear about his vaccination status and then spoke with popular podcaster Joe Rogan, subsequently saying he had availed himself of the same COVID-19 treatment Rogan claimed to have used successfully. You know, the so-called “horse de-wormer.” Which is not a Dr. Fauci-approved “vaccine.”

Although the Democrats put most of their political capital in the Build More Communist Bill (known as the “Build Back Better Bill”), the bill that’s more important to them is actually the “For The People” Act, which has already passed in the House. If the Senate passes it, it will build into elections every type of pro-fraud procedure possible. To that end, Sen. Chuckie Schumer wrote to tell Republicans, who will be destroyed if the act passes, that they’d better pass the act or else he’ll destroy the filibuster and pass the act without them.

Over the last twenty months, Americans have learned that Anthony Fauci, the highest-paid federal employee, has a very utilitarian approach to the truth. In other words, he’ll say whatever is useful to him at the moment and call it the truth. However, eventually, when sufficiently cornered or unguarded, the truth will out. In this case, Fauci blundered into admitting that he knew that he, on behalf of the United States, was collaborating with the Chinese communists.

According to the mainstream media, print and digital, COVID is surging, omicron is deadly and everyone with a scratchy throat runs to a testing center to see if they are “infected.” It’s madness on a grand scale. Most of them are not infected but these thousands of hypochondriacs are waiting hours in line for a test that, even if negative, may be positive the next day. The clamor for more tests is ridiculous. Everyone has known since July that the PCR tests were faulty to the point of being entirely useless -- which the CDC finallynow admits.

There's a famous saying often attributed to Edmund Burke: "If you are not a liberal at 25, you have no heart. If you are not a conservative at 35 you have no brain." Youth is attracted to liberalism because its ideals sound good — they really do. You'd have to be some kind of monster not to want to save the planet, lift up the poor, correct past injustices, and share equally in Earth's bounty. The problem with liberals is not their ideals; it's their actions — which never accomplish their intended purpose. That's because liberals are emotional, rather than rational, animals.

Linda Greenhouse covered the United States Supreme Court for The New York Times for nearly three decades, until 2008, and then, in late 2009, was invited to write a column, "centered on the Supreme Court," every two weeks, for the paper. Ms. Greenhouse's December 31 column, last of her bi-monthly assignment, reflected the very sour-grapes of a senior citizen who never outgrew her adolescent progressivism: it was filled with the obligatory gibes of an angry leftist, hurled at Republicans, conservatives and Donald Trump. But were her targets limited only to conservatives?

Hospitalizations of U.S. children under 5 with COVID-19 soared in recent weeks to their highest level since the pandemic began, according to government data released Friday on the only age group not yet eligible for the vaccine. The worrisome trend in children too young to be vaccinated underscores the need for older kids and adults to get their shots to help protect those around them, said Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Since mid-December, with the highly contagious omicron variant spreading furiously around the country, the hospitalization rate in these youngest kids has surged to more than 4 in 100,000 children, up from 2.5 per 100,000.
