Republican-Appointed Ohio Solicitor General
to SCOTUS: The State Can Mandate Vaccines
for 'All Individuals'

Original Article

There were a lot of head-smacking moments during oral arguments before the Supreme Court regarding Joe Biden’s OSHA vaccine mandate for companies with more than 100 employees. Even though I know the left wing of the court is packed with totalitarians, it always takes my breath away to hear them opine about how the government should be allowed to exercise almost unlimited power over Americans, and their cavalier attitude about the rights of individuals. What I did not expect to hear was Ohio Solicitor General Ben Flowers—a Republican appointee—arguing before the court that the state essentially has unlimited power to force individuals to take a vaccination.

I wonder how the leftist vegans who are pro-vaccine would feel if the government forced them to eat steak every day to help end a pandemic… and if the government told them they have to eat it to keep their job so they can feed their kids. Would they accept it and devour cows everyday? Or would they fight it and say it’s personal choice?

Video; Biden tells how democrats stole the 2020 election and twice for Obama. The Marxist Communist democrats, rino's, etc., are the real danger to America from within. Biden himself with a slip of his tongue, for once told the truth of the Marxist Communist democrats and they are all guilty of treason. October 2020, before the election; speaking to former Barack Obama staffers on Pod Save America, host Dan Pfeiffer asked Biden what his message was to people who have not yet voted. https://youtu.be/C6u1uKznCYw Biden's confession starts at time 17:40 on video interview. Joe Biden: "Well, first of all, you know, uh, what really rankles, uh, my opponent is I say that, uh, the thing that bothers him most is he’s not a patch on Barack’s jeans." "Secondly, we’re in a situation where we have put together — and you’d [sic] guys, did it for our, the president Obama’s administration, before this — we have put together, I think, the most extensive and and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics." Biden did not correct himself after saying “voter fraud organization,” nor did the hosts attempt to correct or clarify his statement.

^^Having now read what actually was said, Flowers was talking about state powers. As the article says, hopefully he meant by act of the state legislature, which would be answerable to the voters. I don't see what that has to do with the issue before the Court, which is whether the President/federal bureaucracy has the power to mandate vaccinations at private businesses under OSHA. I'm pretty sure the Court is going to say he doesn't.

Mr. Flowers was BY FAR the best advocate among the attorneys who engaged in oral arguments yesterday, although he slightly missed a bull's eye when he opined that Ohio CURRENTLY has the requisite authority to mandate that all individuals in Ohio must be vaccinated against COVID. He was dispelling the unstated assumption held the liberal justices that only OSHA has such power, but he also unconditionally asserted that currently Congress has NOT delegated such authority to OSHA. Irrespective of Ohio's current authority to mandate vaccinations, it's legally possible that states can be delegated such power depending on the severity of a given virus, such as Ebola, which is reported to have a death rate between 60 to 65 percent.** Statutes that delegate these powers to governments should (but far too often do not) specify clear and precise standards, as ambigous standards allow government agencies to exceed their delegated powers as OSHA has done in spades regarding its COVID mandates. Thankfully the Supreme Court is going to stay the OSHA mandate. Hopefully the Court's final opinion will be a broad ruling that will slow down the (dangerous) expanding federal government's Adminiistrative State. ** https://www.md-health.com/Ebola-Death-Rate.html

I am certain that the state has the power to force me to be vaccinated. Not the right, but the power. Only individuals have rights, governments have powers. It is a crucial distinction. I am also certain that, eventually, government agents will inject me with that poison. I even know exactly when it will happen. Right after I lose the gunfight. I will not die alone.

There’s A Reason No One Likes Kamala Harris 36 replies

Most people look at the choice of Kamala Harris for Vice President and scratch their head. “Why would anyone pick a person so wildly devoid of political talent or even the basics of likability?” they wonder. The conventional wisdom is that she checked the right number of boxes to fulfill left-wing interest group demands, which is partially true, of course. Overlooked, however, is how there is one more, rather good and important reason Joe Biden, or really any politician, would pick someone like Harris: because by comparison, you’ll always look better. Harris is such a singularly grating personality that she polls lower than lemon juice on an open wound.

Make no mistake about it, leftists lie. This is especially true of leftists in politics and the media. In fact, on most any matter dear to the left’s perverse agenda, one is safer assuming that the leftist you’re hearing or reading is lying. Thus, almost no one should’ve been surprised at the wild (and numerous) lies hurled by Supreme Court Justices Elena Kagan, Stephen Breyer, and Sonia Sotomayor during oral arguments over the Biden Administration’s private sector Wuhan Virus vaccine mandate.

Say one thing for the once-august Smithsonian Institution: When they decide to do something, they go big. The Smithsonian didn’t settle for a replica of the Wright Flyer, it would only accept the real thing, and that’s what’s hanging in the National Air & Space Museum in Washington. Reality used to be the Smithsonian’s prime directive. Now? They’re now building a new collection, but it’s not devoted to science, history, industry, or anything so unifying and uplifting. The Smithsonian’s new collection is nakedly political and linked to lies. And it’s not the first time.

Ted was once the darling of intellectually inclined conservatives, but I think the bloom is now off that rose. Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers has become persona non grata to progressives. Which is, truthfully, a remarkably easy feat. He started irritating them around a year ago when he criticized politicians who didn’t obey their own COVID-19 mandates. More recently he deplored the “woke mob” and “cancel culture.” The woke mob became truly apoplectic when Rodgers wasn’t clear about his vaccination status and then spoke with popular podcaster Joe Rogan, subsequently saying he had availed himself of the same COVID-19 treatment Rogan claimed to have used successfully. You know, the so-called “horse de-wormer.” Which is not a Dr. Fauci-approved “vaccine.”

Although the Democrats put most of their political capital in the Build More Communist Bill (known as the “Build Back Better Bill”), the bill that’s more important to them is actually the “For The People” Act, which has already passed in the House. If the Senate passes it, it will build into elections every type of pro-fraud procedure possible. To that end, Sen. Chuckie Schumer wrote to tell Republicans, who will be destroyed if the act passes, that they’d better pass the act or else he’ll destroy the filibuster and pass the act without them.

Over the last twenty months, Americans have learned that Anthony Fauci, the highest-paid federal employee, has a very utilitarian approach to the truth. In other words, he’ll say whatever is useful to him at the moment and call it the truth. However, eventually, when sufficiently cornered or unguarded, the truth will out. In this case, Fauci blundered into admitting that he knew that he, on behalf of the United States, was collaborating with the Chinese communists.

According to the mainstream media, print and digital, COVID is surging, omicron is deadly and everyone with a scratchy throat runs to a testing center to see if they are “infected.” It’s madness on a grand scale. Most of them are not infected but these thousands of hypochondriacs are waiting hours in line for a test that, even if negative, may be positive the next day. The clamor for more tests is ridiculous. Everyone has known since July that the PCR tests were faulty to the point of being entirely useless -- which the CDC finallynow admits.

There's a famous saying often attributed to Edmund Burke: "If you are not a liberal at 25, you have no heart. If you are not a conservative at 35 you have no brain." Youth is attracted to liberalism because its ideals sound good — they really do. You'd have to be some kind of monster not to want to save the planet, lift up the poor, correct past injustices, and share equally in Earth's bounty. The problem with liberals is not their ideals; it's their actions — which never accomplish their intended purpose. That's because liberals are emotional, rather than rational, animals.

Linda Greenhouse covered the United States Supreme Court for The New York Times for nearly three decades, until 2008, and then, in late 2009, was invited to write a column, "centered on the Supreme Court," every two weeks, for the paper. Ms. Greenhouse's December 31 column, last of her bi-monthly assignment, reflected the very sour-grapes of a senior citizen who never outgrew her adolescent progressivism: it was filled with the obligatory gibes of an angry leftist, hurled at Republicans, conservatives and Donald Trump. But were her targets limited only to conservatives?

Most have been silenced through online censorship. Some even lost their jobs for the “sin” of publicly sharing their successes with the drug.
