Even SCOTUS leftists have to lie to further
the left’s Wuhan virus narrative

Original Article

Make no mistake about it, leftists lie. This is especially true of leftists in politics and the media. In fact, on most any matter dear to the left’s perverse agenda, one is safer assuming that the leftist you’re hearing or reading is lying. Thus, almost no one should’ve been surprised at the wild (and numerous) lies hurled by Supreme Court Justices Elena Kagan, Stephen Breyer, and Sonia Sotomayor during oral arguments over the Biden Administration’s private sector Wuhan Virus vaccine mandate.

Comments:

I fully expect the chief justice to vote for this mandate along with the other three stooges. He’ll find a way, like 0bamascare, to vote that in. The wild card here as I see it is the three new stooges. We shall see soon enough who they side with. Sure wish I was more optimistic.

As faith in our employees who on our dime erodes, they continue to make inane public comments (too many to list) that are cringe-worthy to the point they are literally dangerous or even treasonous in some cases. So many of these comments are increasingly ludicrous and untrue, but laughing at them could be a mistake that could have unimaginable results. The entertainment value of most of these comments could over-shadow their seriousness, and we have to look no farther than our false potus as a prime example of all of it.

Leftists do lie, as does almost everyone; and leftists seem more willing than most to employ lies an a means to achieve their goals. But we don't know that the leftist Justices were "lying," and accusing them of doing so uses the same kind of irresponsible language we rightly accuse them of using. The leftist Justices were wrong, but calling them liars when we don't know what they actually believe is not the way to convince people the Justices were wrong. The leftist Justices were not only wrong, they were assuming facts that were almost certainly not established in any record and, more importantly, facts irrelevant to the issue at hand. If the issue is whether OSHA has the power to issue mandates, or whether Congress has the power to authorize OSHA to issue mandates, or whether OSHA followed the law in granting mandates, it's hard to see how the number of hospitalized children (or the virulency of the Omicron variant, or many other facts assumed by the leftist Justices) are relevant.

Silly question, but shouldn't a judge be considering the legality of a case and not an of opinion of it?. I would like to mandate everyone be frisked when they leave their homes because it could stop a lot of drive-bys (If it saves just one life!) but people are protected by the Constitution. As for the hospital occupancy: operating cost are very high to run one. I know nothing about hospital management , but they don't make any money with too many empty beds. They probably have an ideal occupancy number. Help here?

The Catastrophe of Nord Stream 2 10 replies

There is a real possibility that the European Union (EU) will endure major fuel shortages this winter. Record-high electricity prices are currently the norm with no end in sight. Russian president Vladimir Putin astutely understands that the EU heavily relies on Russian natural gas, which the Nord Stream 1 and now 2 (NS2) natural gas pipeline will provide. This $11 billion line to the German coast spanning 764 miles under the Baltic Sea will double the capacity of Russian natural gas and be used as a geopolitical leverage point against Ukraine, Poland, NATO, the EU, and most of all Germany, the largest economy in the EU.

It started in Chicago, where an incredible 91% of union teachers voted to go on strike and refused to do what they get paid to do, which is teach. Then the union walkouts spread to Maryland, New Jersey and California. Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, a liberal Democrat, has attacked the Chicago teachers unions for "holding kids hostage." She is right. Why doesn't she call a state of emergency and disband the union to save the children from the union terrorists? Or tear up the contract because the unions have violated it? If she did, she would be a hero.

Most Americans today have a romanticized (and extraordinarily narrow) historical understanding of the conflict that we call the Civil War. In their imaginations, it goes something like this: With passions inflamed by a moral renaissance in the North regarding the institution of slavery in the South, the two sides decided to go to war over the issue. In the end, the evil South was righteously razed by the armies of the North, and thus, slavery was ended, and the former slaves made American citizens, as Abraham Lincoln intended.
There’s A Reason No One Likes Kamala Harris 38 replies

Most people look at the choice of Kamala Harris for Vice President and scratch their head. “Why would anyone pick a person so wildly devoid of political talent or even the basics of likability?” they wonder. The conventional wisdom is that she checked the right number of boxes to fulfill left-wing interest group demands, which is partially true, of course. Overlooked, however, is how there is one more, rather good and important reason Joe Biden, or really any politician, would pick someone like Harris: because by comparison, you’ll always look better. Harris is such a singularly grating personality that she polls lower than lemon juice on an open wound.

There were a lot of head-smacking moments during oral arguments before the Supreme Court regarding Joe Biden’s OSHA vaccine mandate for companies with more than 100 employees. Even though I know the left wing of the court is packed with totalitarians, it always takes my breath away to hear them opine about how the government should be allowed to exercise almost unlimited power over Americans, and their cavalier attitude about the rights of individuals. What I did not expect to hear was Ohio Solicitor General Ben Flowers—a Republican appointee—arguing before the court that the state essentially has unlimited power to force individuals to take a vaccination.

Say one thing for the once-august Smithsonian Institution: When they decide to do something, they go big. The Smithsonian didn’t settle for a replica of the Wright Flyer, it would only accept the real thing, and that’s what’s hanging in the National Air & Space Museum in Washington. Reality used to be the Smithsonian’s prime directive. Now? They’re now building a new collection, but it’s not devoted to science, history, industry, or anything so unifying and uplifting. The Smithsonian’s new collection is nakedly political and linked to lies. And it’s not the first time.

He started irritating them around a year ago when he criticized politicians who didn’t obey their own COVID-19 mandates. More recently he deplored the “woke mob” and “cancel culture.” The woke mob became truly apoplectic when Rodgers wasn’t clear about his vaccination status and then spoke with popular podcaster Joe Rogan, subsequently saying he had availed himself of the same COVID-19 treatment Rogan claimed to have used successfully. You know, the so-called “horse de-wormer.” Which is not a Dr. Fauci-approved “vaccine.”

Although the Democrats put most of their political capital in the Build More Communist Bill (known as the “Build Back Better Bill”), the bill that’s more important to them is actually the “For The People” Act, which has already passed in the House. If the Senate passes it, it will build into elections every type of pro-fraud procedure possible. To that end, Sen. Chuckie Schumer wrote to tell Republicans, who will be destroyed if the act passes, that they’d better pass the act or else he’ll destroy the filibuster and pass the act without them.

Over the last twenty months, Americans have learned that Anthony Fauci, the highest-paid federal employee, has a very utilitarian approach to the truth. In other words, he’ll say whatever is useful to him at the moment and call it the truth. However, eventually, when sufficiently cornered or unguarded, the truth will out. In this case, Fauci blundered into admitting that he knew that he, on behalf of the United States, was collaborating with the Chinese communists.

I live in the Fort Worth area and one of the places that I enjoy going for some great comfort food is the West Side Cafe. It has some great fluffy western omelettes and wonderful chicken fried steak.
