China unveils plan to 'take over' Latin America

Chinese Communist Party officials have unveiled an “action plan for cooperation” with Latin American countries that amounts to a “comprehensive” plan to influence the region and threaten U.S. interests, following a new summit with the nearest neighbors of the United States. “The Chinese don’t say, ‘We want to take over Latin America,’ but they clearly set out a multidimensional engagement strategy, which, if successful, would significantly expand their leverage and produce enormous intelligence concerns for the United States,” U.S. Army War College research professor Evan Ellis, a former member of the State Department policy planning staff, told the Washington Examiner.

China could take over Venezuela tomorrow and the people there would welcome them. It would be the first full meal the peasants have had in years and the oil wells would begin operating again. We could help China out by sending them the two million immigrants that Joe has welcomed across the border. It would be sort of like "seed stock" to repopulate the worst countries down there. China would make sure that no immigrants ever left there again. It's a win-win.

Good luck with that China. You might run into something called the Cartels that will foil any plans you have. You don't have enough money or anything else of value to offer them. They already own most of those countries already.

China will eventually learn that most governments in Latin America are parasites, borrowing billions, producing little and eventually refusing/unable to pay back what they owe to Beijing. Even corrupt Chinese communists will come to resent the palatial estates purchased on the French Riviera with funds skimmed from these development loans. Why should the presidents of Bolivia, Venezuela, Cuba, Haiti and Uruguay have larger water front mansions than Chinese officials? If a supposedly open government like the US allows its leader to receive 10% of a Chinese government contract, what do the “Big Guys” in Latin America get for same?

China also wants to take over Africa. Africa like Central America is money pit. The west has poured possibly hundreds of billions of dollars into Africa over the last sixty years, and it's still a mess. The west spent billions trying to end famine there, and all it did was help create more starving babies and political systems that hate freedom. Central America is different. Unlike Africa, the people of Central America are mostly hard working with Christian values. However, like Africa, the money sent there ends up in the pockets of those in charge and never reaches the people.

Money talks and BS walks. China isn't the fool the US has been. It doesn't hand out billions to the crooks. They enter into loan agreements that include Chinese design, development, construction, and operation of that "infrastructure". Look to the Panama Canal... The US wastes its "aid", playing big shot "Leader of the Free World", whizzing away TRILLIONS over decades in places like Iraq and Afhanistan. Imagine what a fraction of those TRILLIONS as investments could have done in Central America, for example. (Sri Lanka is going broke owing a few billion to the Chinese, who might see value in a future naval base there off India's coast.) Meanwhile, the US is putzing around saving Europe from itself as the "Leader of the Free Loaders." And the knuckleheads want us to defend Taiwan and Ukraine and who-knows-where-else. Meanwhile they celebrate the genius of Washington and Ike...and refuse to follow their advice concerning American foreign entanglements and military adventurism...simply put, DON'T.

One of the first things that the Communist Chinese will do is use Central America as a spring board to push as much of the Central American and other foreign surplus poor and uneducated population groups unlawfully into the USA by way of the US borderline, in order to destabilize the USA demographically and socially as much as possible. As long as the leftist and socialist Democrats maintain political power in the USA they will welcome such mass uncontrolled illegal migration of third world peoples into the USA, intending to legalize as many of those foreign origin peoples as possible by way of Democrat designed “path to citizenship” rolling amnesties looking to transform as many of those “New Americans” as possible into future leftist and socialist Democrat voters. The ultimate permanent demographic objective of the leftist and socialist Democrats is to transform the US voting demographic from that of being a majority “deplorable” White population, to a country whereby the majority population of the country is made up of a massive coalition of “people of color” that fit within the categories of Democrat identity politics, both native and foreign born, who the Democrats believe will support the leftist and socialist political agenda, bent on transforming the USA into a yet to be defined socialist utopia.

The FTC's rebellion against the judiciary 1 reply

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) must be held accountable for its open defiance of the Supreme Court’s directives. For decades, the FTC relied on a statute authorizing “permanent injunctions” to obtain monetary fines. That always seemed strange. After all, neighboring sections of the law allow the commission to seek limited monetary penalties, while injunctions normally only prevent future action and do not entail an award of any damages. Yet “disgorgement” awards — the return payment of supposedly illegal gains — became so pervasive that in 2019, for example, courts ordered that $723.2 million be paid to the government in such awards.CORRECTION*

The World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said Friday he was confident the pandemic will end in 2022 "if we end inequity" and spread vaccine wealth, urging nations to better cooperate on battling the coronavirus. In a New Year's address, Tedros said the tools were available to end the pandemic as the world enters its third year of the pandemic. But he argued that "narrow nationalism" and "vaccine hoarding" was preventing the pandemic from coming to an end, and led to the emergence of the highly transmissible omicron variant.

With the turn of the calendar to 2022, Republicans are not only looking to the 2022 midterm elections but to the prospect of Donald Trump running in 2024. Trump is hugely popular with the party’s base and that popularity freezes the plans of other possible candidates for the 2024 nomination. Trump’s hold on that nomination is brittle, however, because of his age. On election day in 2024 Donald Trump will be 78 years old.
