As he challenges Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton for the state’s top law enforcement post, Land Commissioner George P. Bush has expanded his agency’s traditionally limited role in border security and immigration, top issues for Republican primary voters.
Bush, who met with law enforcement officials and residents along the border earlier this month on a four-day “Secure the Border” tour, also ventured onto Paxton’s turf

This is the guy who wanted to “reimagine” the Alamo as primarily a mission rather than a sacred battleground, so as not to offend Hispanic Texans. Don’t believe this border posturing. His Hispanic roots run deep.

Don't trust him; we know who these people are, and we have to stop letting them take advantage of US. I just discovered that former Republican congress critter JC Watts is chairman of the failing, leftist BNN. That's right, the Black News Network. Mark Lamont fake doctor Hill is their Sean Hannity; the fact that he's their top talent screams failure. Watt's running a leftist news channel with ratings ten times worse than the other communist alphabets. A racist and leftist news channel is what he creates when given the chance to create something meaningful. And we thought ole Julius Caesar was one of US; I never really liked the baby daddy preacher anyway. The news channel launched earlier this year, hired about 300 employees, and averages 4000! viewers. They're already laying off staff this week, and the channel is majority owned by the American Pakistani who owns the Jacksonville Jaguars; he pumped some 50 million dollars into this failure from the start, leftists hole-filled boat. Shame. Shame. Shame.

Question - Has he ever had a job that lasted more than 10 years other than politics? If not, he is not to be trusted.

Sorry - I don't buy this schtick from the grandson of an illegal, and the son of "act of love" Heb! and "Jeb Presidente" bumper sticker Columba, and who grew up in a house where Spanish was the primary language, and English the secondary (by his father's admission).

If you Republicans think voting in another Bush is a good thing…..well then no wonder you are where you are right now. MAGA Patriot here who is tired of the $&@“. Never been a Republican and never will be.
It was the Bush’s that gave us the Iraq and Afghanistan War. Bush gave us John Roberts. Bush gave us the likes of Michael Steele and that #+%*, Nicole Wallace. To hear them on MSNBC and to think that they were once “ Republicans” working Bush’s and the RNC and are now what they are. Tools.
I say they were always who they were. They were always tools and you registered Republicans are no different than American Blacks who don’t have a enough sense, courage or both to get off the plantation. - New Party Yesterday!
( look at all the independents who are disgusted with the Democrats. You think they are going to register Republican? Look at all the disaffected JFK Democrats who are tired of the woke agenda, but will never register Republican. Look at all the Republicans who have been Red Pilled over and over and are finally realizing that Mitch McConell, Lyndsey Graham, the Romney’s, the Cheney’s and the Bush’s are not for Main street America and are not standing for MAGA. Yep. If we would have just turned our anger and momentum towards a positive thing like forming a New Party of the People, we would be that much closer to change. As long as the establishment Republican Party exists, Main Steet and MAGA will lose. Even when the Republicans win…….Main Street and MAGA will lose.)

#17, if anyone tells you that you jump to conclusions about other people and talk down to them you ought to listen. Jeb Bush couldn’t make any headway with Republicans in 2016 and many obviously eschew the Bushes as phonies and opportunists. Doing so doesn’t make anyone unique, just observant.

I am happy to report my last vote for a Bush was in 2004. And I've had 5 opportunities to test that resolve: one with Jeb (2016 primary) and 4 with his kid, George P. ( primary and general, 2014 + 2018). I will continue that again in 2022
George P. has wisely been "pro-Trump" on the campaign trail. He ain't that stoopid, but in this case, the sins of the father-uncle-grandaddy are the sins of the son.

George P. Bush seems to be a little more grounded than his turncoat insane family members. He does say the right conservative things, and he did publicly support President Trump over the last 5 years.
But he still shares their genetics, and I truly wish he would go somewhere else to try to build his political creds. The Bush name does not leave a very good taste in the mouth of most conservative Texans anymore.
I definitely won't be voting for him in the primary, but if he manages to get on the ballot for November, I will hold my nose and vote for him then.
