George P. Bush turns to border security
to bolster his conservative image in bid
for attorney General

Original Article

As he challenges Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton for the state’s top law enforcement post, Land Commissioner George P. Bush has expanded his agency’s traditionally limited role in border security and immigration, top issues for Republican primary voters. Bush, who met with law enforcement officials and residents along the border earlier this month on a four-day “Secure the Border” tour, also ventured onto Paxton’s turf

Comments:

The previous two generations of Bushes, intent on destroying US sovereignty with open borders and crony capitalism trade agreements, now passes the the torch of shameless disingenuous opportunism to a new generation of faux conservatism. The Bushes getting tough on the border.

This is the guy who wanted to “reimagine” the Alamo as primarily a mission rather than a sacred battleground, so as not to offend Hispanic Texans. Don’t believe this border posturing. His Hispanic roots run deep.

Don't trust him; we know who these people are, and we have to stop letting them take advantage of US. I just discovered that former Republican congress critter JC Watts is chairman of the failing, leftist BNN. That's right, the Black News Network. Mark Lamont fake doctor Hill is their Sean Hannity; the fact that he's their top talent screams failure. Watt's running a leftist news channel with ratings ten times worse than the other communist alphabets. A racist and leftist news channel is what he creates when given the chance to create something meaningful. And we thought ole Julius Caesar was one of US; I never really liked the baby daddy preacher anyway. The news channel launched earlier this year, hired about 300 employees, and averages 4000! viewers. They're already laying off staff this week, and the channel is majority owned by the American Pakistani who owns the Jacksonville Jaguars; he pumped some 50 million dollars into this failure from the start, leftists hole-filled boat. Shame. Shame. Shame.

If you Republicans think voting in another Bush is a good thing…..well then no wonder you are where you are right now. MAGA Patriot here who is tired of the $&@“. Never been a Republican and never will be. It was the Bush’s that gave us the Iraq and Afghanistan War. Bush gave us John Roberts. Bush gave us the likes of Michael Steele and that #+%*, Nicole Wallace. To hear them on MSNBC and to think that they were once “ Republicans” working Bush’s and the RNC and are now what they are. Tools. I say they were always who they were. They were always tools and you registered Republicans are no different than American Blacks who don’t have a enough sense, courage or both to get off the plantation. - New Party Yesterday! ( look at all the independents who are disgusted with the Democrats. You think they are going to register Republican? Look at all the disaffected JFK Democrats who are tired of the woke agenda, but will never register Republican. Look at all the Republicans who have been Red Pilled over and over and are finally realizing that Mitch McConell, Lyndsey Graham, the Romney’s, the Cheney’s and the Bush’s are not for Main street America and are not standing for MAGA. Yep. If we would have just turned our anger and momentum towards a positive thing like forming a New Party of the People, we would be that much closer to change. As long as the establishment Republican Party exists, Main Steet and MAGA will lose. Even when the Republicans win…….Main Street and MAGA will lose.)

I am happy to report my last vote for a Bush was in 2004. And I've had 5 opportunities to test that resolve: one with Jeb (2016 primary) and 4 with his kid, George P. George P. Bush seems to be a little more grounded than his turncoat insane family members. He does say the right conservative things, and he did publicly support President Trump over the last 5 years. But he still shares their genetics, and I truly wish he would go somewhere else to try to build his political creds. The Bush name does not leave a very good taste in the mouth of most conservative Texans anymore. I definitely won't be voting for him in the primary, but if he manages to get on the ballot for November, I will hold my nose and vote for him then.

The Biden White House on Tuesday expressed openness to working with Republican Sen. Mitt Romney on child tax credit payments, after the Utah lawmaker called for a bipartisan approach on the issue. “We’re going to work with anybody who’s interested in taking steps to lower costs for the American people, whether it’s on child care or elder care or healthcare,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters, when asked about Romney’s recent statement. Romney has proposed a program similar to the monthly CTC payouts that look set to end due to opposition from Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia

How Amazon Crushes Small Business 20 replies

Much has been written over the past year about how Amazon treats its warehouse workers and other employees and its attempts to prevent their unionization. But the mistreatment of Amazon’s labor force is far from the only negative effect of having once-thriving mom-and-pop shops gobbled up by or placed at the mercy of a faceless e-commerce leviathan. Amazon’s ascent means that more and more Americans are losing their commercial autonomy, the right to dictate and introduce innovations into the terms of their own transactions and business relations, and, ultimately, their ability to control their financial—and, therefore, personal—destinies.

In November, Secretary of State Antony Blinken removed Nigeria from the State Department’s list of countries hostile to religious freedom. The move flabbergasted religious freedom advocates, including members of the U.S. government’s own Commission on International Religious Freedom. That commission had urged Blinken in April to keep Nigeria on the list, pointing to “violence by militant Islamists and other non-state armed actors, as well as discrimination, arbitrary detentions, and capital blasphemy sentences by state authorities” in the country. In 2020, the Trump administration designated Nigeria as a “Country of Particular Concern” (CPC) on religious freedom.

Not so long ago, President Joe Biden was being talked of as a transformative president, a second Franklin D. Roosevelt in terms of the domestic agenda he would enact. And there was substance to the claim. Early in his presidency, Biden had passed a $1.9 trillion stimulus package. While his majorities in both houses of Congress were razor-thin, they proved sufficient to push through a $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill. Clusters of Republicans backed the Biden infrastructure bill.
