A Vanderbilt University professor argued that insects must compose a larger share of the world’s food supply. In an opinion piece for Bloomberg, Amanda Little — who teaches investigative journalism and science writing at the prestigious university — lauded the European Union’s recent decision to approve insects for human consumption. According to Little, the move ought to be carried out across the globe: The approval confers a kind of dignity to the lowly, protein-rich microbeasts that we foolishly dismiss as pests, and delivers a clear signal that the insect proteins industry is poised for significant growth. Above all, it paves the way for an alternative protein source

You first, doofus. Why are so many ‘professors’ so effing stupid? No common sense and bereft of any logic. Maybe the starving peons that this twit looks down on will eat bugs when they are forced to by FJBs inflation.

Why are SO many leftists obsessed with turning America into a third world country? They eat bugs there because they lack the resources to fresh meat and other sources of protein.
It makes one wonder if this is how they’re going to soft-sell us on Soylent Green.

I won't eat bugs; but "in the human food chain" can mean the chickens, turkeys, and pigs that I eat can eat all the bugs they want, as long as they also eat some grass and corn meal and other good stuff.

What a moronic creep. Eat bugs? I think not. Is that idiot professor one of those who's recommending getting rid of meat to "save the planet" from flatulance?

She has an opinion, but she has no standing to make these recommendations and expect to be heeded.
That said, nutritional value of insects is well established and even locusts are kosher.
Insect meal hidden in food might fly.
However, ICKK!!
