A person has caught Omicron Covid inside a quarantine hotel in Hong Kong from a guest across the hall despite both never leaving their rooms, it has been revealed. Both patients were double-vaccinated and both had tested negative on a PCR before arriving in Hong Kong last month, with one flying in from Canada and the second flying in from South Africa. Scientists believe the traveller from South Africa was infected before flying and then passed the infection to the traveller from Canada when opening the door of their room to collect food. The findings raise further fears about just how infectious the Omicron strain of Covid is,

Comments:

Ha ha, it's terrifying! The shots clearly do not work, which is why we all need to be triple, quadruple, or even quintuple vaxxed like they are in Israel, to flatten the curve and fatten the pockets of the few.

Mrs buttigiegerheimer are you sure you never left your hotel room? Scouts’ honor on my word as a lady. Then, how do you explain getting omicroninitis from the man next door? Well there is a hole in the wall, through no fault of my own. A hole in the wall? Yes. Perhaps the little virus came in through there.

Following the evolution of all viruses - more infectious, less lethal. Otherwise, the virus would kill off the hosts too quickly (like Ebola, rabies, and bubonic plague).

Symptoms are mild. What does that mean? The sniffles? A headache? A cough? A slight fever? Tell me what "mild symptoms" means, please. If the symptoms are no worse than the common cold, and there are no deaths associated with it, why are we worried about omicron?

How on Earth do they determine who had it first... and discount all the other people who they guy had to have interacted with? Just because those two happened to be "tested" who can be sure that the tests were accurate in the first place? If the symptoms are mild there may be millions of people who have it or have had it. Please...make this stop.

This will be ignored and soon denied by the corporate media. If it's verified that the virus can be transmitted through walls, then no mask can stop it. And not even social distancing or quarantining can stop it. So everybody might as well just pretend it's not there, because nothing we do will stop its spread.

The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine could be significantly less effective against the newly discovered Omicron variant that it was against previous strains of the virus. Researchers at the African Health Research Institute (AHRI) found that there are forty times less antibodies in Pfizer vaccine recipients that can fight Omicron than there are for other variants. The pre-print study, made available Tuesday pending peer-review, implies that the vaccine could be less effective against the strain detected last month in South Africa. Conclusions from it cannot yet be drawn, though, and researchers are not yet sure how much more likely the Omicron variant is to cause infection

The crooks raked in more than $200 million by luring in over 100 desperate migrants from Mexico and Central America to the US, a federal indictment says. At least two people died in the brutal conditions that saw workers forced to handpick onions at gunpoint for just 20 cents per bucket in sweltering heat, and another was repeatedly kidnapped and raped. They were kept in squalid camps surrounded by electric fences or cramped living quarters, including dirty trailers with raw sewage leaks.

The threat of an invasion will be the central subject of President Biden’s video call with Putin on Tuesday. Biden is expected to warn of dire consequences should Russia follow through with a military offensive, while Putin is expected to reiterate his ultimatum that NATO should not allow Ukraine to join its military alliance.
