A white NYC woman who plowed her BMW through 50 Manhattan BLM protestors last year has refused a plea deal and will now stand trial, even as protesters compare her to a female Kyle Rittenhouse. Kathleen Casillo, 53, appeared in Manhattan Criminal Court on Wednesday after she was accused of driving into the pedestrians during the protest at the intersection of 39th Street and Third Avenue on December 11, 2020. Morningside Heights, Manhattan—A man made anti-Asian remarks after striking a woman with his bicycle’s handlebars Saturday, police said Wednesday. The incident happened about 6:30 p.m. inside the 116th Street Station in Manhattan, police said. The victim—a 53-year-old woman—was walking on the platform when the man hit her from behind. The parents of the 15-year-old charged in this week's deadly shooting at Michigan's Oxford High School have been charged with four counts each of homicide involuntary manslaughter.
The charges against James and Jennifer Crumbley were filed Friday morning in 52nd District Court in Rochester Hills.
