The National Basketball Association (NBA) flexed its social justice muscles this week when the National Basketball Social Justice Coalition released a new video advertising the various causes that the organization will push. The video marks the coalition’s first step onto the media scene after the NBA announced the social justice-minded group last year.
“Our goal is really simple. We want to take moments of protest, moments of people power like we saw last year and turn them into public policy.” Executive Director of the National Basketball Social Justice Coalition James Cadogan said in the video. “We want to change laws.”

I thought the NBA was still shut down because of the Plandemic. Sadly, I don’t watch any of the woke professional sports anymore, and I used to enjoy them.

Yes we want a change in the law. White players must be mandated to be 80% of the teams, same as the proportion as in the population.

Haven’t watched a game in over 10 years as these clowns only know how to put up three pointers.
IMHO return to boxing out, filling the lanes on a fast break, and denying the base line would be time better spent.
But no these freaks of humanity want to emphasize social justice rubbish. GTH

,,, hmmmm... the disadvantaged ,black, multi-millionaires want to change the laws...??...I wonder :
....How many have criminal arrest records for various forms of thuggery...??
.... How many spend their massive wealth on illegal drugs...??
....How many have spawned countless, neglected, children via baby -mamas...??
...How many - when with their brothas - use racially disparaging terms ( hate speech) towards White people...??
...maybe they should look to clean up their own house first...??

If they want Social Justice the first thing they have to do is stop endorsing Chinese shoes made by slave labor and being worn and touted by their players.

Based on my friends that use to live by watching Michael Jordan's and Kobe Byrant's displayed skills, if a tree falls in a forest, does it make a sound? There are so few enthusiastic fans it must be more for their own feelings.

I stopped following the NBA 2 years ago and I’m not alone. While 90% of the NBA is Black 90% of their paying fan base is White.

I refuse to subject myself to watching professional sports, and a disgusted that the NBA supports child slave labor in China by endorsing their shoes.
That said, the NBA does have one positive thing--it provides a good job for a segment of the population that would otherwise be drawing unemployment and welfare benefits.

Remove the guts, feathers, nose rings and tattoos and what do you have? A sport that does require massive coordination, talent and ability. That said, the dumbest nba player can shoot a basketball far better than any dumb/smart person who is not in the nba. Absolute fact. What is not factual is that shooting a basketball does not bless the stupid with uncanny intelligence.

FTA: advocate for meaningful change
Will that change include equal pay for all members of each NBA teams? Equity dictates that no player should earn more than a teammate, it's what's fair and just.

I've always found pro basketball to be boring. Therefore, I just don't watch it and don't care. The college game is more fun to watch.

FNBA. Maybe your thug players and the idle teens who watch and copy them should follow existing laws? They work quite nicely for good people. Social Justice is a dead end street but many of you are fine with dead ends.

Much amusement in the comments today. I wonder if anyone has bothered to tell them about #15's perspective? Oprah hasn't figured it out either yet. Both entities insult daily what built their wealth. But we don't have to be doormats and watch them. So far I am enjoying the last bastion of pro-sports out there, the NHL. Don't have a clue about most of the rules, but I enjoy watching the competitive spirit in action.

Interesting, but maybe they should start by realizing that the white liberal/progressive democrats have not been their friend for the past 50 years.
After all, many of those laws are their laws right? From liberal, deep blue cites and states.
Then, I would demand that every criminal case that has DNA available, be tested, and determine if they convicted the right person.

Don't patronize LeBron's Blaze Pizza restaurants.
I want to know which companies hire the players for endorsements/commercials. I can shop elsewhere.

I almost never watched NBA games over the past few years. I quit before the woke nonsense when they started letting the players take several steps going to the basket. In HS the refs would call you for walking if your foot slipped forward. Now it’s boring and it takes half an hour to play the last three minutes with all the deliberate fouling.|

SALady 12/2/2021 12:43:19 PM (No. 995092)
NBA viewership has crashed and burned over the last few seasons, as idiotic and evil "wokeness" have infested what should be non-political entertainment.
This should put the nail in their coffin. Sure, this will appeal to inner-city blacks. But most of them can't afford $100 a ticket to sit through a game. As all those "rich" white fans get turned off and stop coming, and they are playing to half-empty venues, and they have to cut salaries to these spoiled evil racist thug players, I'm guessing they will try a too-little-too-late turnaround.
But, hey, it won't affect me. After being a huge Spurs fan for years, I haven't attended, or even watched, a game in several years. I just don't miss it or care in the least any more.

I'm no longer watching any NBA games. These millionaire Prima-Donnas-in-Sneakers have disqualified themselves since many have become Social Justice Jackasses. I DON'T NEED to watch THEM, but THEY need ME as part of an audience who buys tickets or watches ads on TV. What if nobody came or watched? Where would they get their big checks if the seats were empty and no advertisers participated? Support the NBA and you are also supporting the National Basketball Social Justice Coalition. Take back your country or just watch hoops as America dissolves. Your call.

The court needs to be as long and wide as a football field . The ceiling needs to be 3 ft above the basket and the ball's diameter needs to be 3/4" more than the hoop.. Any player with more than a traffic violation is benched ( without pay) for a year.
That oughta take care of Thugball.............
