Most of the other 45 Senate Democrats must wonder how Saule Omarova got nominated to a high-ranking Treasury position in the first place. Joe Biden’s choice for Comptroller of the Currency advocated as last as this fall to nationalize banking and put government in control of private capital. Omarova tried dancing around her earlier positions by claiming they were “academic” exercises, but Pat Toomey blew up that argument last week: So did Tim Scott, who spent his entire five minutes quoting from Omarova’s writings — not from a foolishly idealistic youth, but again as recent as this year: At the time, I wondered how long centrist Democrats would stand behind

Joe Biden has spent months pitching class warfare against the rich and in particular, against billionaires, incessantly demanding that they “pay their fair share” in taxes. This, despite the fact that the top 1 percent pay 40 percent of all the taxes and the top 10 percent pay about 71 percent of all the taxes. After preaching that division and making it harder on Americans to afford their Thanksgiving meal (not to mention most other expenses), Biden then trundled off to stay at private equity billionaire David Rubenstein’s compound for his Thanksgiving celebration on Nantucket. Throughout the summer of 2020, the United States was wracked by civil unrest, unlike anything we had witnessed since the mid-1960s when the anti-war movement and militant elements of the Civil Rights Movement created a perfect storm of riots bordering on outright insurrection on campuses and in city streets. The two periods have more than a superficial resemblance. In both cases, social unrest, based on real or imagined grievances, was translated into street protests. In both cases, a hyper-violent fringe element attempted to create havoc to draw law enforcement into open conflict with the demonstrators. When is a racial hate crime not a racial hate crime? When it doesn’t advance the left’s, and the Democrats’, narrative. When white teenager Kyle Rittenhouse shot three white men who were violently assaulting him, it somehow got treated by the press and politicians as a racial hate crime. President Joe Biden (falsely) called Rittenhouse a white supremacist, and the discussion of his case was so focused on racial issues that many Americans mistakenly thought that the three men Rittenhouse shot were black. ICE authorized just 20,858 arrests in the six months after the Biden administration announced new rules restricting which illegal immigrants could be targeted—or an average of just one arrest every two months for each deportation officer. That’s down exponentially from the Trump years, when the rate averaged two arrests each month, and it’s even worse compared to the peak Obama years, when the ratio was about four arrests each month. But even though U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement says it’s catching fewer people overall, it’s arresting more aggravated felons, which ICE says is proof the new rules are working to allow officers to focus on the most valuable targets.

Because that’s the reporting," Brian Kilmeade, who is a co-host of the "Fox & Friends" morning program, asked Baier on Monday afternoon during an appearance on Kilmeade's radio show. “There’s a … Brian, I don’t want to go down this road,” Baier responded. “You know, I mean, there were concerns about it definitely ...

Santa Cruz County in California issued a mask mandate for all indoor settings, including private homes, ahead of the holiday season. The mandate went into effect at 11:59 p.m. on November 21 and requires “all individuals to wear a face covering when indoors regardless of vaccination status.” “Unfortunately, a potential winter surge appears to be a significant threat to the health and safety of our community,” said Santa Cruz County Health Officer Dr. Gail Newel in the announcement. “As we look forward to spending time with those we love during the holidays, it is important to protect vulnerable friends and family members by wearing a mask indoors.

The Thanksgiving holiday, which commemorates one part of the Pilgrim story, remains the favorite holiday for many Americans. And for good reasons beyond enjoying a feast. With 2021 being the 400th anniversary of the first Thanksgiving, it is worth revisiting the Pilgrim “character” and their five significant achievements, which created the seminal story of America and reveals remarkable insight into who we are. First, of the many groups of settlers who came to America, only the Pilgrims were singularly motivated by a quest for religious freedom. They repeatedly spoke about their voyage to the New World in terms of a flight from tyranny to freedom,

For most of us, the thanksgiving holiday is a time for fellowship, gatherings, good cheer, feasting, gratitude, and charity. But then there's the Biden White House, where Joe and Kamala put on a public show at a soup kitchen demonstrating they can't stand each other. (snip) So Joe can't stand to put on a nice face with Kamala even in public. Notice that Jill is ordering Kamala around in the scenario, too, not exactly a sign of respect for Harris's office. “Come on, Kamala!” Jill Biden said, pointing the vice president to a tray of green beans that the VP was put in charge of scooping.

Covid Vaccines Are a War on Children replies

The first battles in the Covid War on Children began with the lockdown, forcing kids into isolation, depriving them of education, smothering them with masks, strangling their innate joy and playfulness, and denying them contact with God-given images of human faces. The tyrants won those first battles, vanquishing our kids. Children are committing suicides in numbers never before seen; their health has plummeted with terrifying rates of obesity and diabetes, their intellectual and social development is languishing, and they are suffering intensely. Now with children sicker and weaker than ever before, and with parents desperate for a return to “normal,” the tyrants are moving in for the kill with vaccines.

We’ve looked into some of the social media of the Waukesha Christmas parade massacre here and here. Now, we’ll have to see how the facts unspool, as I always say in any case. What we do know at this point is that the attack was intentional, according to the police, and not only that but that the alleged attacker, Darrell Brooks, was trying to hit as many people as he possibly could and allegedly had previously, earlier in the month, run over the mother of one of his children. But there’s more in his social media and it’s not a good picture. Liberal media would rather attack the journalists

There’s a reason that the Waukesha massacre has faded from the national media. There’s a reason that MSNBC and CNN and CBS refer to it as merely a “parade crash” and quickly move on to other news. There’s a reason that President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have not prejudged the violent, racist, BLM-supporting career criminal charged with murder for driving his SUV deliberately into a Christmas parade in the mostly white Wisconsin town of Waukesha on Sunday, killing six innocents, including an 8-year-old boy, and injuring 62 others.

The first official Thanksgiving Proclamation by Plymouth Colony Governor William Bradford 398 years ago provides a key insight into the true meaning of the holiday. "Inasmuch as the great Father has given us this year an abundant harvest of Indian corn, wheat, peas, beans, squashes, and garden vegetables, and has made the forests to abound with game and the sea with fish and clams, and inasmuch as He has protected us from the ravages of the savages, has spared us from pestilence and disease, has granted us freedom to worship God according to the dictates of our own conscience.

Wow, can you say thanks but no thanks, this Thanksgiving? Far-left activists, posing as television journalists, are making fools of themselves on Thanksgiving Eve. In their struggle to not be turkey scrooges, they are giving terrible advice about how to handle COVID issues and how to cover the extra costs from the inflation caused by Biden’s policies. How To Handle COVID-19 Starting with CBS, a Psychologist, Lisa Tamour, actually shared how Thanksgiving hosts could make the tricky COVID situation “fun” on “CBS Mornings.” She actually suggested in a Thanksgiving segment Wednesday that Americans should consider having appetizers in the garage until all guests get their rapid COVID-19 test results back.

While the news has been inundated with Kyle Rittenhouse trial reactions and the mass murder that took place in Waukesha, Joe Biden’s agenda continues to languish. After Nancy Pelosi forced through the “Build Back Better” bill last week, the administration is no closer to seeing it come to fruition in the Senate. Multiple things were included in the House version that Joe Manchin has already said represent a redline, including climate provisions and federal funding for abortions. Now, Manchin is making noise about the current gas-price crisis, and in doing so, he looks to have stumbled upon a major piece of leverage.

Speaking on the steps of the courthouse on Wednesday afternoon, Marcus Arbery said that his son’s murder should not happen to anyone, be they black or white. “For real, all lives matter,” Arbery said as the crowd, including Rev. Al Sharpton, nodded in agreement. “Not just black children, we don’t want to see nobody go through this.” He went on to say: I don’t want to see no daddy to watch his kid get shot down like that. It’s all our problem.
