Throughout the summer of 2020, the United States was wracked by civil unrest, unlike anything we had witnessed since the mid-1960s when the anti-war movement and militant elements of the Civil Rights Movement created a perfect storm of riots bordering on outright insurrection on campuses and in city streets. The two periods have more than a superficial resemblance. In both cases, social unrest, based on real or imagined grievances, was translated into street protests. In both cases, a hyper-violent fringe element attempted to create havoc to draw law enforcement into open conflict with the demonstrators. It is becoming ever more clear that we must defend ourselves against the riot, loot and burn crews that Soros is funding. And that we still have the right to self defense. But each person has to clearly understand what the legal elements of self defense are, and be careful to never stray out of defensive force when there is no alternative, and never be goaded into anything.

The fear for the democrats’ violent fascists is that they will be held accountable for their actions. This burning, looting and in your face rioting must be ended. No one is safe in that atmosphere. What this comes down to is that the left want the ability to run lawless through our cities and commit whatever crime they want and have zero responsibility for their actions. This is unacceptable. Democrats have ginned up all this hate and are more than willing to use the violence that came with it as a political tool to achieve what they cannot through debate. They mean to take this country by any means possible. They believe that they can create an atmosphere of hate and discontent and actually control that kind of behavior. When you unleash violent animals, control goes out the window. Society cannot exist without law and order and the only way this ends is when the majority of people say, enough. This would end tomorrow if the violence touched the lives of the democrat elites. Burn down their communities and the call for law and order would be loud and clear. The violence we are experiencing is nothing more than a political weapon that is being used by the democrat party. Support your local law enforcement and never ever support a democrat for any political office. Tip O’Neill had it right, all politics is local.

There is a saying that when seconds count the police are only minutes away. Today even that is wrong. When seconds count the police are told to stand down by bureaucrats running Democrat cities. Either that or they have been reduced to a force no longer capable or willing to enter the fray.

Yeah, eventually the violence and looting will end. You can only fit so many big screens into one home. We in flyover country have always had the self-defense attitude but the Zulus avoid armed communities. Rittenhouse nearly bought it when he had the pistol pointed at his head but that was what convinced the jury his actions were legal.

Watching since the beginning of the Rittenhouse incident we can assume that Kyle was a tougher target than the criminal rioting thugs bargained for. It was obvious that when Kyle was finally knocked to the ground the attackers intended to do him harm or possibly add murder to their destruction of other people's property. One thug held/carried a handgun which he intended to use on Rittenhouse but all that ended when Rittenhouse shot him in his arm. Make street riots and looting a dangerous game by defending self and property then it might become public gatherings, free speech and demonstrations, again. I and my wife carry each a gun when we leave our home.

Conservatives of America need to address the irrational dichotomy in the law -- deadly force in your home is presumed lawful; deadly force in your business under siege is not. I don't understand why we have this dichotomy between home and office. It's a ridiculous distortion of law that's arisen after American's living quarters became separated from their place of work. The Farmer, the Silver Smith and the Greengrocer who lived at their place of business did not have this problem. The man with the used car lot today does. As business has become more valuable over time, the legal system protects it less. This makes no sense and hamstrings private defense against rioters in the common modern scenario where the police abdicate their responsibility. Conservative across America need to address this by statue in every State. Until they do, Normals are still at serious disadvantage to The Mob.

It's not the verdict that will crush the government subsidized violence, it's the two dead thugs and one with his arm blown apart. The thugs don't fear the cops or the government or the verdicts. But now, finally, there's a real potential consequence...and the question, "Is there another Kyle Rittenhouse here?"

Something gets left out of the discussion about Mr. Rittenhouse's valiant actions that day, as the police looked on, emasculated. These commie criminal punks were out to take his AR away from him, to serve as a trophy at the least or more likely a tool to threaten or murder whoever stood for justice and American civilization. Could have been a slaughter, these despicable criminals had surely shown, for years, what they were capable of. So this man, young in years but brave in spirit, made sure NOT to lose control of his weapon. As a believer in the best values of our society, he defended against the loss of his weapon valiantly, and only when confronted in the gravest extreme did he use the minimum force to defend himself and retain his weapon from the demorat mob. Our combat heroes are not confined to WW2, Korea, VN or the hellholes of the middle east...

Democrats have long wanted the government to parent or co-parent your children, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone that President Joe Biden said the quiet part out loud Monday night. Is the administration upset that you might be spending too much time with your family? The statement is also rather vague. The “nearly 2 million” number, I assume, represents the 1.8 million-woman reduction in our labor force during the COVID-19 pandemic. But it’s untrue to claim this loss is only due to women leaving work to care for a family member. There are myriad reasons why the pandemic and government-induced shutdowns could have diminished the female workforce.

I reported earlier today on the announcement about the new COVID variant out of South Africa that immediately had some freaking out because it was supposedly “heavily mutated” and that the spike protein was “dramatically different.” That raised questions about whether immunity and the vaccines would be protective against it. There were also suggestions that it was “highly contagious among young people.” So, it seemed obvious they were gearing up to go crazy over this again. Then we reported on Dr. Anthony Fauci claiming they needed more time and information to decide on whether they needed to be talking about travel bans, that they wouldn’t be implementing a travel ban yet.

When is a racial hate crime not a racial hate crime? When it doesn’t advance the left’s, and the Democrats’, narrative. When white teenager Kyle Rittenhouse shot three white men who were violently assaulting him, it somehow got treated by the press and politicians as a racial hate crime. President Joe Biden (falsely) called Rittenhouse a white supremacist, and the discussion of his case was so focused on racial issues that many Americans mistakenly thought that the three men Rittenhouse shot were black.
