The radicals who tell Joe Biden what to do as president overreached when they had him nominate Saule Omarova as comptroller of the currency, a powerful regulator of the banking system. The émigré from Soviet-era Kazakhstan, a Lenin Scholar at Moscow State University, earned a credential as a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin, while also earning the credential of thief for an arrest for shoplifting in Madison, demonstrating contempt for private property. Naturally, she ended up as a professor. That is a critical position that should go to a qualified person who was born, grew up, and was educated in the USA, and not someone who was born and grew up in the USSR where she received a Soviet Communist collectivist education.

The Dems are shameless. Trying to appoint a communist to one of the most powerful offices in the federal government. I think (and hope) that they have overplayed their hand too soon. Ten more years and millions of illegals along with voter fraud are their last hope for a communist USA. They may have just moved too soon and awakened even the lofo voters.

Her nomination hasn’t made it out of the Banking Committee yet. Without all the Democrate votes on the committee she will lose in the Banking Committee. Unfortunately that means the Democrats who aren’t on that committee will never be forced to vote either for or against her. But if those Democrats on the committee who are opposed to her keep their word, the Republicans on the committee should all vote to approve her nomination. That would force the entire senate to vote on her. Then every Republican can vote against her and every Democrat up for reelection will be forced to vote for a communist, or vote against Brandon’s nominee. That is how smash mouth politics works.

In all my years of paying attention to national politics, I cannot think of one person nominated for any federal office who was a worst fit. Dollar Bill Clinton was close, with Dirty Donna Shalala at HHS and Bill Richardson for anything, and Jimmy Carter's OPM nominee Alan Campbell (whose decisions about federal employee rules are still wreaking havoc in the federal government) And I cannot think of one president, since FDR, who put together a worse administration than Dementia Jo's handlers have fashioned.

In a critical assessment of the Rittenhouse trial, Conrad Black denies that the outcome of the case vindicated the American justice system (Snip) Black is mainly concerned here with the plea-bargaining system that state prosecutors use to condemn defendants even before a trial has taken place. The American justice system has become “evil” for a reason that Black only mentions in passing, namely the role of the media in inciting mob violence by racializing criminal cases.
