Oregon Democratic Senator Ron Wyden's son, a Florida-based hedge fund millionaire, put his liberal dad and his 'cronies' in Congress on blast Sunday night after the lawmaker used an exchange with Elon Musk to again promote his proposed billionaire's tax. (Snip) His son jumped in with a forceful response on Sunday evening. 'Why does he hate us / the American dream so much?!?!?!?!' Adam Wyden wrote. Comments:

Wyden must think his son 'went bad' since Adam is financially successful and lives in low-tax Florida.

Sorry Ms L for 2nd post, but must give provenance to previous post. My partner and I were contacted by an "owner" of a gentleman's club to redo their floor plan to maximize cash flow.per square footage of space. Sitting in the back office, the "owner" wanted to make sure we knew his Phx biz was connected to a Vegas business bigwig. He had a minion goon call up the real boss and talk about using our services to update a sleazy escort service waiting room into a more respectable service station. It was no secret that he meant to intimidate us into compliance under his rules. We gave that bastid a proposal that would have monitarialy choked his invisible boss. It was fun to go backstage and...well, you know.

HELENA, Mont. — A new map dividing Montana into two congressional districts for the first time in decades was finalized Tuesday, triggering disappointment from Democrats who hoped to craft a different western district that would give them a better chance of winning in an increasingly Republican-dominated state. (Snip) In a bitterly disputed process that played out over several months, Democrats managed to keep liberal college towns Missoula and Bozeman in the western district, but lost the state capital of Helena to the solidly red eastern district. The final map was proposed by Republicans on the bipartisan redistricting commission and selected by

The number of container ships stuck off the coast of Southern California reached new records on Tuesday. According to data from the Marine Exchange, a total of 111 container ships are bobbing at sea around the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, waiting to dock and unload. That breaks the previous record of 108 vessels reported on October 21. The two ports remain clogged despite efforts to speed up the processing of containers amid a surge in consumer demand for goods. New York - Amid an array of discouraging election results for Democrats last week, there was one under-the-radar outcome that was especially perplexing. The vote, which came in a year when Republican-led states have passed dozens of laws to restrict voting access, left voting rights advocates stunned. Congress is requiring in its $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill that automakers install monitoring systems in their cars to stop drivers from operating their vehicles while intoxicated. The bipartisan package, which is on its way to the president's desk after passing the House on Friday, allocates around $17 billion for the road safety programs. Monitoring systems to stop drunk drivers would roll out in all new vehicles as early as 2026, according to the new legislation. First, however, the Transportation Department would have to assess what the best form of technology is and give automakers ample time to comply. DOT Secretary Pete Buttigieg said Monday that the safety programs included
