Chinese trade officials said Saturday that they pushed US Trade Representative Katherine Tai to end Trump-era tariffs in a virtual meeting that marked the end of a standoff between the world’s two largest economies.A spokesman for Tai characterized the meeting between his boss and Vice Premier Liu He, China’s top trade negotiator, as “a candid exchange.”Tai “emphasized U.S. concerns relating to its state-led, non-market policies and practices that harm American workers, farmers and businesses,” spokesman Adam Hodge said.China’s Xinhua state news agency, said Liu “negotiated over the cancellation of tariffs and sanctions,

Minnetonka Moccasin Co., the Minneapolis company that over 75 years popularized Native American-styled footwear across the country, issued a formal apology Monday for adopting Native American culture without acknowledgment. The company, which dropped "moccasin" from its logo in 2008, has now removed the word from much of its corporate messaging and is calling itself simply Minnetonka.
