A U.S. Marine who posted videos on social media criticizing military leadership and the Biden administration’s withdrawal from Afghanistan will face a court-martial hearing next Thursday and Friday at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller Jr. faces six misdemeanor-level charges, including willfully disobeying a superior commissioned officer, dereliction in the performance of duties and conduct unbecoming an officer and a gentleman, the Marine Corps said in a release. Scheller was freed from the brig last week where he was being held for violating an agreement to stop posting criticism on social media.

Scheller knew the consequences of his disobedience to military law. And he needs to pay that price lest the US military become just a better paid and official government form of BLM. He will be discharged and as he predicted lose his career benefits. But he will be rewarded for his acts - afterwards. We should applaud his heroism and be angry at what made his sacrifice necessary. But don't be upset that the military must uphold its code of justice.

What Scheller did was brave and required. And his court martial is also necessary. That is, sadly, the price we pay for a free as well as orderly society.

Americans have been begging for a whistle blower from the DOJ, FBI, CIA, the IRS , any number of alphabet government bodies to help right the corruption. None stepped forward. I personally never thought the American military would fall prey to the debauched treason it has and never felt we needed a Scheller. That said I believe this guy yo be a nut or a plant much like the Facebook whistle blower. His deranged rant against Donald Trump and his entire family and me, a Trump supporter was not only wrong it was almost verbatim what the lying democrats have said about President Trump from day one with a few caveats. His sanctimony and self hero worship of honor and sacrifice that he saves for him and him alone is crap.

He didn't criticize the Afghan withdrawal, he asked for military leadership accountability regarding the humanitarian disaster that occurred as a result of the "cut and run" strategy.

He knew that he was going to be court martialed when he made the video. You could see him fondling his silver oak leaf collar device as he spoke. He knew that the silver oak leaves were GONE when he posted the video. He's brave, but I have to wonder why he didn't wait three more days, and then comment as a RETIRED Lt. Col?

The majority of the applications I interviewed wanted at least one day off out of a week. They needed time off with their family. The family came first. Is the military any different? Scheller's family will pay dearly, socially and financially. Was it pride or the code of military ethics that compelled him to sacrifice his family's livelihood to break protocol and risk court marshall? Lt. Col. is an honorable and a brave officer to compromise and to take his family down with him. I am not the same, however, I will risk my life, shed my pride and honor to save my family to preserve their livelihood and their future. I pray God will intervene to bless him and his family for peaceful and happy ending.

Virginia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe's remarks about "diversity" and "inclusion" in schools, which he made in 2019, have resurfaced in the pivotal lead-up to Election Day on Nov. 2. Education has emerged as a key issue in the race, with parents raising concerns about critical race theory, COVID-19 restrictions and transgender issues at tense school board meetings in Northern Virginia. "We don't do a good job in our education system talking about diversity, inclusion, openness and so forth," McAuliffe said on C-SPAN Book TV while promoting his book "Beyond Charlottesville: Taking a Stand Against White Nationalism" in 2019.

How do they do it? How do Democrats lie so effortlessly? They claim that there is no open border when we watch nonstop video of illegal immigrants crossing the Rio Grande and being welcomed by Border Patrol agents who put them on buses and planes to settle throughout the country. They claimed (and maybe still do!) that Hunter Biden’s laptop with incriminating evidence of illegal activity not just by Hunter but also by his father, Joe Biden, is Russian disinformation! Remember when Biden stared into the camera and barked that the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan was an “extraordinary success”? During his opening statement for the Attorney General Merrick Garland hearing, Nadler said there was no difference between the rioters who stormed the Capitol on January 6 and parents who are angry about what is being taught in schools. “This growth in extremist ideology is echoed in an epidemic of violence and intimidation directed at our health care professionals, teachers, essential workers, school board members and election workers,” Nadler said.

Voters are worried about the classroom. The latest Fox News national survey finds 73% of registered voters are "extremely" or "very" concerned about what public schools are teaching children. The only issues more concerning to voters are inflation/higher prices (87%), political divisions within the country, and health care (76% each). Republicans (81%) and parents (80%) are among those most concerned about what is being taught. For Republicans, only inflation (89%) and migrants at the border (82%) rank higher, while the top worry among parents is also inflation (88%), they put health care in the second spot (81%).
