Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley got into a heated exchange with Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) over the advice he gave President Biden on troop levels in Afghanistan – with Milley rejecting the idea he should resign over policy differences. Milley, who holds degrees from Princeton, Columbia, and the Navy War College, and who commanded international forces in Afghanistan, bristled at the idea – even as he essentially confirmed he advised Biden against a withdrawal of all US troops from the country.'I understand that you're the principle military advisor. That you advise. You don't decide, the president decides.
Hang this traitor.

Golly, its getting hard to understand the logic of the general. When Trump was president he had no compunction against giving the Communist Chinese a heads-up in case The Donald went rogue. I guess its situational ethics based on personal survival. Now that Milley's job is on the line, he's willing to throw the dementia patient under the bus. Democrats have come a long way since Harry Truman.

The entire JCS needs to be purged in 2024 when President Trumps returns. Not only removed but prosecuted for treason. The political Generals need replacement with those who will win in war. In WWII this happened the hard way in the first year of the war when several Generals were cashiered. We need to do it this time before the shooting starts.

Congress giving this treasonous rat a platform just shows the depth of corruption and rot in Washington.

A demented President, an out of control military, Congress spending like drunken sailors, and a Supreme Court that takes only politically correct cases. God help us.

ALL Officers from a Lt. Colonel down should be put in charge of reviewing the performances of all of those above them
with the primary objective of getting rid of them if they, the higher-ups, have shown any inkling for doing things for higher advancement.
There should be NO ROOM for ANY politics within the Military!!!

Benedict Milley holds degrees from Princeton and Columbia. He's been fully indoctrinated and is the perfect deep-state stooge to lead the military for the cabal. I don't trust him as far as a could throw the fat bastid.

I watched a good portion of the hearing on Real America's Voice News, but did not hear anyone question General Milley as to why Bagram Air Field was abandoned in the middle of the night, with $83 billion worth of equipment left for our enemies.

That power-hungry traitor actually said, "My dad didn't get a choice to resign at Iwo Jima, and those kids there at Abbey Gate, they don't get a choice to resign...and I'm not going to turn my back on them ..."
That clueless, thirsty joke of a man doesn't realize that when he committed treason he turned his back on all of them - and us.

It is black letter law in the Constitution that the Congress has the power to confirm General Officers.
"The role of the Senate in confirming senior military officer promotions and appointments stems directly from the U.S. Constitution. Article II, Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution states that the President "shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other Public Ministers and Counsels, Judges of the Supreme Court, and all Other Officers of the United States, whose appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by law." Generals and Flag Officers (Admirals), fall into the category of "all Other Officers of the United States" and require Senate confirmation." (https://www.everycrsreport.com/reports/RS21714.html)
Rather than these elected officials blathering on like spoiled children, why don't they act. They are the f'n legislature! They have the power, through law, to remove these idiots.
But then, Uniparty.

The part that got me was when he said the President was in charge and he merely obeyed orders.
He didn't feel that way when Donald trump was president and he stabbed him in the back in his final days as President. This man has zero integrity and does not belong in charge of our military.

Remember all the trust and respect invested in the US military. And this is how it manifests itself. Like the FBI, CIA and the Federal law enforcement and intel communities, the military shows its leadership has no respect for the oath they took to support and defend our Constitution.
Frankly, I don't give a damn about Afghanistan and our embarrassment there. What I care about is the feckless CINC and the equally feckless military command cadre. They've already effectively agreed by lack of criticism that Gen. Milley's willingness to undermine civilian command by the CINC is okay. The current CINC is a known loon who hasn't the sense to fire this cabal known as the Joint Chiefs. If only someone would put the papers in front of him - in the national interest, of course. Than you all for your service. Benedict Arnold would be proud.

General Meat Head Milley, the PX warrior, holds degrees from Colombia, Princeton and Navy War College. This means nothing to me with the performance he gave in Afghanistan. So what? I have the key to the change machine at the car wash it's about the same importance. This calorically challenged bloated medal wearing general thinks much of himself but all I see is a traitor to this country. He might be a big thing around the Pentagon but I wouldn't feel great about being under his leadership on the battlefield. Milley, the man, is dangerous as much as useless wearing that uniform.

Biden is a one termer. Milly’s days are numbered. He’d better start making contacts at CNN. If he doesn’t get court martialed he’s going to be needing a job.

If it is true that Milley told his counterpart in China that he would give him advanced warning of an attack by the US, he should be relieved immediately.
If your husband, son, or brother was being sent into harm’s way, I would hate for someone in our government to give the enemy advanced warning so that they would be slaughtered.
Also, I would think that calling our potential enemy to tell them we might attack would have greatly raised tensions to the point that it might have started a war.
Milley is a disaster waiting to happen.
