He’ll join three others — two of them paying customers — aboard a Blue Origin capsule. It will be the company’s second launch with a crew. Best wishes to Shatner. I still remember walking over to friend's home in the evening to watch Star Trek in color on their TV. Color TV for us was still about 5 years in the future due to cost.

I hope he is able to go. He can wipe the "oldest man in space" claim from john glenn. That guy forced his way to this title by pushing aside another member of the space team. He did it just to say he was the oldest man in space. Absolutely no regards for the man whose career he ruined.

#7, in a reclining seated position, the G forces aren't a particularly big problem. ~3 Gs for two minutes on ascent and ~5.5 Gs "for a few seconds" on re-entry while reclining in a properly shaped chair aren't too much. Reclining position makes all the difference. https://spaceexplored.com/2021/05/06/can-you-make-it-as-a-blue-origin-astronaut/

A federal appeals court Tuesday unanimously rejected a suit filed by ex-Gov. Andrew Cuomo to overturn a tax overhaul law approved by former President Donald Trump in 2017 that limited federal deductions on state and local taxes. The $1.5 trillion law imposed a $10,000 cap on itemized SALT deductions that taxpayers could write-off on their federal returns, which provided Trump and the then-Republican-led Congress more revenues to pay for other federal tax cuts. The SALT cap largely affects the wealthiest taxpayers in high tax Democratic states in the Northeast — New York and New Jersey, and Connecticut, as well as California.
