As I read the article I thought, what is she blowing the whistle on? Free speech? As much as I hate to defend Facebook because of their selective banning of people, the "whistle-blower seems to be complaining because Facebook was not censoring enough.

I still hear some conservatives say that they stay on Facebook "only to share pictures and updates of family". Yes, well you're also continuing to finance the destruction of this country then. Can't you find another way to share pictures and updates, like with email, US mail, etc.? There is NO excuse for continuing to stay on Facebook.

I’m one of the few who saw 60 Minutes last night where this “whistle blower” was featured. For her, “hate” and “misinformation” apply only to Trump supporters and so-called right wingers. While in general I oppose government hassling businesses, in the case of Facebook, Google, Twitter, Apple and Amazon, bring it on. All of them do the bidding of the Democrats. Break them up!

As of early September, 26,385 complaints of retail theft were filed, which is the highest number ever recorded. Compared to last year, 2021 witnessed a 32% surge in the number of complaints, according to The Post.Cases against serial shoplifters are rarely prosecuted,
Why Columbus Day is Worth Defending 5 replies

Among the federal holidays, Columbus Day has become one of the least honored, partially due to controversy about misdeeds associated with colonization. In fact, Columbus never set foot on or came close to any territory that later became part of the continental United States. The history of Christopher Columbus is actually less messy and more consequential than many of the other heroes of our national holidays. There is not only a great deal to celebrate in Columbus, but the man embodied a range of attributes that are necessary to solving many of our contemporary problems and even saving our country from further decline and collapse resulting from group think,

Only a fool pokes a mama bear, but that’s Merrick Garland for you. The attorney general thought to be such a moderate that 20 Republicans confirmed his nomination turns out to be a radical ideologue hellbent on targeting President Biden’s political foes. He is injecting himself into the front lines of every culture war, from pregnant “people” to school board meetings. But Garland’s ominous memo last week directing the FBI to investigate parents as domestic terror threats was a big mistake. He cited no evidence for what he claims is a “disturbing spike in harassment, intimidation, and threats of violence” against school boards.

Watters condemned her policies, saying they're making it "harder and harder for average Americans to accumulate wealth," shackling them with taxes and

CNN lies to the American people on a daily basis. When Trump was in office, spread fake news about him during every program. And even when they didn’t “lie”, they spun the story in their favor and committed key aspects in order to advance their narrative. However, taking a look inside and blaming themselves for their cratering trust with the public, they are blaming conservatives for spreading “disinformation” online that they hear from Fox News. Stelter continued by bemoaning how much trust Fox News has with it’s conservative viewers. “Whenever anyone asks me about trust in media, I try to ask what do they mean by media?,” Stelter began.

Instead it says large stores must also have a gender neutral section to display 'a reasonable selection' of items 'regardless of whether they have been traditionally marketed

China is sending record numbers of military aircraft to threaten Taiwan, warning “war may be triggered at any time” and asking the island democracy’s allies if they want to “become cannon fodder.”Team Biden’s response: Happy talk of how China’s president-for-life promised a month ago to keep the peace and having the Pentagon shift from Trump-era “great power competition” to “strategic competition” that “does not, and should not, preclude working with China.”Ouch. Talk of “peace in our time” is exactly the wrong answer to China’s “We’re ready to rumble” message. Washington needs to act, and now, to get Beijing to back down.

We’ve been talking about how bad the polling has been for Joe Biden, even in deep-blue states like Minnesota. How do you know when it’s getting really bad? When even CNN — usually all in to pimp for Biden — is acknowledging how underwater he is in job approval. He’s down even with Democrats, but what they say is really animating the poll is how much he has dropped with independents. As CNN’s John Berman and Harry Enten put it, the technical term is “not good.” He’s down 10 points among Democrats, 12 among Republicans, but among independents, he’s down 19 points.

The order said: It is the policy of my administration that climate considerations shall be an essential element of United States foreign policy and national security. The United States will work with other countries and partners, both bilaterally and multilaterally, to put the world on a sustainable climate pathway.
