Pope Francis is Right: Antisemitism is
a Serious Threat

Original Article

The tide is going out for Jew-hatred. Recently, Pope Francis condemned antisemitism and called for new action to combat it. In doing so, the pope rightly expressed how only a new civil rights movement can counter a resurgence of long-simmering hatred against Jews. During his visit to Hungary, the pontiff spoke at a meeting of ecumenical faith leaders, calling anti-Jewish hatred a “fuse that must not be allowed to burn,” citing “the threat of antisemitism still lurking in Europe and elsewhere.”

My problem is that Francis speaks the propaganda of so many groups that are antisemetic. I don't believe he's sincere. Like Biden, some unseen puppetmaster is behind him, somewhere, pulling his strings after deciding his image had gotten a bit tarnished.

Yes it is. And it comes about 99.98 percent from the left. But sadly, most Jews I know will vote for the left, even though people like Rashida Tlab, AOC and Ilan Omer would make them third class citizens if they ever came to power (God forbid)

#1 is correct. The Pope speaks from both sides of his mouth. A few weeks ago he said that the Torah is dead. You think that kind of comment does not fuel anti-Semitism? Give me a break.

The Pope says the obvious because he must. Does he call out "anti-Semitism" in Iran, for example? Across the Muslim crescent from Turkey to Morocco? Does he condemn the neverending jihad? Well, no. That would be inviting trouble. Europe is not the only continent with this problem...and it's the easiest target for his rhetoric.

Pope Bergoglio seems to be trying to protect his image. He has shown himself to be anti-traditional. He has criticized EWTN as doing the work of the devil, yet has nothing to say about the heresies going on in Germany. He has shown hatred of traditional Catholics, characterizing them as "rigid." He has refused to dialogue with respected Catholic theologians about very problematic positions he has taken on morality. The list goes on and on. I have no respect for Bergoglio the globalist.

So, Pope Biden had a moment of mental clarity, did he? Or, we’re his handlers caught off guard while he momentarily uttered words of actual Catholic teaching? Not to worry, he’ll be back to his communist drivel soon enough.

If he’s right. It’s for the wrong reasons. Francis is a heretic. He’s not the Antichrist. Just a man with bad ideas and a perverted socialistic world view. He’s intellectually compromised and does not speak for God or Christians. He’s just a man. And like a like a broken clock, he can be correct once in a while when things line up just right way.

Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, and the left would have you believe that involving government in every nook and cranny of Americans’ lives will bring nothing but benefits for the public. But the case of Alta Fixsler, a girl British courts would effectively condemn to death, provides another example of the very real costs of the ever-encroaching power of the state on the rights of parents and the right to life.

Over the past year, perhaps no group has felt a greater impact from coronavirus lockdowns than our nation’s schoolchildren. In many ways, the widespread school shutdowns resembled a cruel social experiment with predictably disastrous results: plunging grades, rising mental health issues and, most distressingly, a surge in suicide attempts. But after the horror that was the 2020 to 2021 school year, a recent edict by the Virginia Department of Education promises to impose even more radical changes that could soon make the commonwealth’s public schools unrecognizable.

But three-quarters of a century after Robinson helped sports transcend racism, a new group of activists wants to ensure that future generations of ballplayers remain fixated on race. As a Virginia resident and parent of two young children, I find attempts to indoctrinate Little League coaches on critical race theory not only troubling but also extremely harmful.

President Biden Zoomed with world leaders last week to announce his plan to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions. Unfortunately, his proposal will almost certainly have the opposite effect by transferring relatively clean U.S. energy production to dirty producers overseas. As children, we learn that objects continue to exist even when they can’t be seen. Energy production is no exception. By canceling American projects, resource extraction and jobs are shifting to environmentally damaging operations in Russia, China and elsewhere.

Many Christians are feeling frustrated with the Biden administration. A recent op-ed in the Wall Street Journal points to how Joe Biden’s flip-flop on refugees is frustrating evangelicals who foolishly voted for him last November. As the Journal contributor noted, they have a reason to feel betrayed.  Believers who care about values, life, and religious liberty continue to find that the new administration has let them down time and time again. While Biden may attend Mass regularly, many of his policy positions raise questions of how diligently he practices his Catholic faith outside the four walls of his church. CORRECTIONS*

President Joe Biden last week proposed $400 billion in new federal spending on home- and community-based services for seniors and individuals with disabilities as part of a $2 trillion infrastructure package. While these provisions might at first glance seem out of place with a topic normally associated with roads and bridges, the proposal fits with the broader themes of Biden's plan. As with the overall package, Biden's home-based care proposal begins with a good idea but points it in the wrong policy direction, using it as an excuse to expand government rather than tackling important structural reforms.

Biden said that “97%, 98%” is the goal as a country during his much-publicized appointment to receive a COVID-19 booster shot Monday. He offered no explanation for the number. Medical experts, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, have predicted that herd immunity would only require 70% to 85% of Americans to be vaccinated.
