Last week, legal accountability group Judicial Watch dropped a bombshell: a nearly 600-page report proving the U.S. government has been buying and trafficking “fresh” aborted baby body parts. These body parts, purchased by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to “humanize” mice and test biologic drugs in scientific experiments, came from babies up to 24-weeks-old gestation, just weeks from being born.

This is one of the most succinct, eloquent commentaries I've read on these atrocities. Must read: "In no humane society could such a violation of the human body and dignity occur, in which babies’ eyes are “harvested immediately upon death,” organs marketed based on sex, and personhood attributed to mice but not children."

This is absolutely horrific. Wonder will Apple, Coke, Delta and others will condemn the federal government? Crickets. They are too busy trying to get into China where this has been happening for half a decade (at least) and they've moved onto children and adults. We will pay for the sins of our present and past. We're still paying for the sins of the past right now (over half a million dead by 1865 wasn't a high enough price to pay).

He has my prayers too, #14. My husband was born 2 months early in 1948 and he’s now 73 so your great grandson should be fine, given the amazing advancements in preemie care. We lost two children to miscarriages and eventually adopted a wonderful daughter so this kind of news tears at my heart.

President Joe Biden last week proposed $400 billion in new federal spending on home- and community-based services for seniors and individuals with disabilities as part of a $2 trillion infrastructure package. While these provisions might at first glance seem out of place with a topic normally associated with roads and bridges, the proposal fits with the broader themes of Biden's plan. As with the overall package, Biden's home-based care proposal begins with a good idea but points it in the wrong policy direction, using it as an excuse to expand government rather than tackling important structural reforms.

With the turbulence of our current politics, it should come as no surprise that many Christians are looking for such height when it comes to political issues. Unfortunately, many are finding themselves in cul-de-sacs of confusion. The most recent evidence is the debate sparked over so-called "Christian nationalism," which, from the perspective of evangelical elites, is the bane of all Christian witness in the public square.

But when it comes to a resolution the House will soon consider regarding the Equal Rights Amendment, we object to both its unconstitutional process and its harmful, anti-women policies.

Are the ranks of the U.S. military riddled with white supremacists? CNN thinks so, and won’t let the facts get in the way of this compelling narrative. CNN makes its case in a story headlined, “Disproportionate number of current and former military personnel arrested in Capitol attack, CNN analysis shows.” This is both factually untrue and downright libelous. It dishonors the brave men and women who serve in our armed forces.

If you had told parents living in Los Angeles back in March, that we would still be under lockdown seven months later and that our children would not be permitted to freely trick-or-treat on Halloween we would have started our own peaceful playground protests. As a mother of two small children, I have seen firsthand how my kids have been uniquely impacted by the extended confinement. Their routines were disrupted without warning and they've experienced broken promises of when life as they knew it would resume based on moving targets set by local officials.

Congressional Democrats who have spent the past four years fixated on the Constitution’s emoluments clause might want to focus on another portion of our nation’s founding document. Article VI, Section 3 states that lawmakers and federal employees “shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.” This passage could end up front-and-center in the Senate hearings over Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s nomination to the Supreme Court.

As we head toward Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s Senate confirmation hearings on her nomination to the Supreme Court, let’s not forget that former Vice President Joe Biden is responsible for turning the high court confirmation process into a blood sport driven by character assassination. Biden, now the Democratic presidential nominee, claims to work across the aisle with Republicans. But his vicious conduct as a Democratic senator from Delaware in the confirmation hearings for Robert Bork (whose nomination was not confirmed) and now-Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is a permanent stain on the Senate’s reputation.

The coronavirus pandemic has made all of us acutely aware of the fragility of health. People in fine shape one day have died in a matter of weeks or even days, and the burden of this disease falls especially hard on racial and ethnic minorities. Even patients who survive face long-term consequences from their illness. COVID-19 has caused kidney failure in some patients and lung failure in others, and some of these patients may require a transplant to recover fully from the virus and maintain their quality of life.

On Friday, Japanese Prime Minister Joshihide Suga became the first world leader to visit the Biden White House. These visits help set the tone for an administration. That being the case, the new administration’s tone is inept and rude. Biden was also absent for the first part of it, leaving an awkward Kamala Harris to trash the U.S. for gun violence before turning to welcome Suga. When Biden took over, things went downhill. She said the shooting was unnecessary after Chicago cops released bodycam footage showing the boy had a gun and dropped it just before the officer opened fire.

How did this happen? How did the nation go in an instant from disbelieving every utterance of Donald Trump to robotically repeating — and acting on — every claim that falls out of Joe Biden’s mouth, no matter how disconnected from the truth? The most glaring example involves Biden’s fact-challenged tirade against Georgia’s new voting law. At his first and only press conference, Biden declared the state’s efforts to protect against voter fraud were worse than Jim Crow, “un-American,” “sick,” and “despicable.” (This was the same press conference where moments later Biden bragged about how much time he’s spent with China’s genocidal communist dictator before calling him “a smart, smart guy.”)

President Obama was well known for his diplomatic blunders, stumbles and curt demeanor with many foreign dignitaries including Queen Elizabeth II. Japanese Prime Minister Joshihide Suga was the first world leader to visit the White House since Biden’s installation, and the poor form began with no-one greeting the head of the Japanese government upon arrival. When you consider the leftist narrative about stopping Asian hate, there is a rather ironic aspect to this visit and snub.
