GOP Rep Liz Cheney says she now regrets her anti-gay marriage stance after a spat with her lesbian sister - and claimed there will be grave consequences for the US if Donald Trump's campaign to unseat her works next year.Cheney, the representative for Wyoming, said that her ties with her family became strained when her sister Mary came out as a lesbian and she did not initially support her. She told 60 Minutes Sunday: 'I was wrong. I was wrong. I love my sister very much. I love her family very much.''It's a very personal issue, and very personal for my family.

So becsuse your selfish, selb-absorbed, aggressive lesbian sister yelled at you, you didn't say, " I love you sis, but i disagree with you..." you betrayed your ideals? Lame. Your sexuality is a choice, dear. Your opinion is protected, but not your actions. If your actions cause harm, they CAN be regulated. This is why a free country like ours is so fragile. Stupid unthinking citizens can ruin it.

It is not up to us to clean up someone else's doorstep, we have enough to clean off our own. So the summary of my statement: I have enough work to clean my doorstep but please do not expect me to reframe the door. There are a lot of secular people coming into the church wanting to reframe the door, so to speak. That is where the problem lies with me. There is a point to be made that becomes muddied. Holy matrimony is not the same word such as marriage or civil union. Those lines get blurred often. Liz Cheney is one of the people who blurs it. . .

Why is important that Cheney accepts who her sister has sex with? Most siblings don't obsess over their siblings sexual relationships. Cheney sister needs to learn that there are other opinions besides hers/his/they/them. Being a lesbian does not mean you are always right. Liz Cheney would do well to remember this.

This Baby Boomer author finds it easy to write about Joe Biden — because he remembers Jimmy Carter. So when the 46th president does something, I need only to recall what the 39th president did (and what was done to him during his single term, 1977-1981), and the similarities become clear. Indeed, just this year, I’ve written about five Biden-Carter parallels: on the economy, national security, crime, inflation, and Iran.So now here’s a sixth parallel, which is the president’s inability to manage a difficult issue, specifically the issue of immigration. (We can save a seventh parallel, infrastructure and reconciliation, for another time.)
