A few days ago, on Aug. 14, I wrote about CNN's sudden about-face on Joe Biden's performance in Afghanistan. It was a shocking, stunning change; it wasn't half-hearted stuff. The Trump-hating news site ran a devastating -- and insightful -- analysis pinning the blame for the Afghanistan fiasco squarely on Joe Biden. Prior to that, the network had carried water for him, skewed the news, and engaged in sycophancy, to the point of ending up a target of James O'Keefe. Now it's The Atlantic's turn. Just this morning they ran three bam, bam, bam commentaries that also pinned the blame for the fiasco squarely where it belonged,

Comments:

He's chum now. They're frying him up like bad trash.

Combine this with Harriss taking such a low profile, to say the least, it makes me wonder if its going to be her turn sooner than later.

Biden did this on purpose - he owes Xi because of all the money China has given him and Hunter. The question is, who else in DC is beholden to China and can we repair the damage?

Our current goal in Afghanistan is just to get people to the airport and fly them out - and it's turned into a 1st class disaster. Imagine Old Joe's 'expertise' if we got into a real shooting war. Maybe the media has looked down the road and realized we have 40 more months of Bidenism and it will be impossible to cover for him all that time.

Too little, too late. They should have done this before he was "elected". They are also to blame for supporting him and suppressing all negative reports about him. Haven't heard a word from the Clintons or John Kerry the traitor, or those idiots in Congress who helped him over the finish line. They all have to own this. What about Dr. Jill who usually has a lot to say as she gallivants around the globe. I could go on but there is not enough space to name all of those guilty.

When will those who voted for him admit to themselves that they were duped by their own party? Probably never, they will still tell themselves that Trump would have been worse and blah blah, and all of their friends will solemnly nod their heads and agree, as the country gets flushed down the toilet.

There are no coindences in the DC government. The mainstream media's obvious turning on Biden is being coordinated from witin the White House, and Biden knows this. Biden is crumbling under the pressure and it's showing. By the way, where is Jill? She has disappeared from the scene. When is the last time we've seen Jill next to Joe? Something is up with Jill. Where is the press on this? The silence is deafening.

So much for the U.S.-U.K. alliance. The commander of the 82nd Airborne, in a story I hope is wrong, has reportedly told this to the Brits, according to the Washington Examiner's Tom Rogan: I understand that the commanding general of the 82nd Airborne Division has told the commander of the British special forces at the Kabul airport to cease operations beyond the airport perimeter. Maj. Gen. Christopher Donahue has told his British Army counterpart, a high-ranking field-grade officer of the British army's 22nd Special Air Service Regiment, that British operations were embarrassing the United States military in the absence of similar U.S. military operations.

Brutal new rules have been drawn up by the Taliban which means women will face torture and death while targets on a 'kill list' could be murdered on their doorsteps. Harrowing reports have already surfacing from Afghanistan as the government collapsed which paved the way for the Taliban to seize power nearly 20 years after being driven out by the West. The Mirror understands there are claims of summary killings by the Taliban as fighters perform door-to-door searches throughout Kabul city. They are hunting down former officials, ex police, soldiers and anyone who worked with the former Kabul government - or with coalition forces.

Joe Biden and his media acolytes call him Mr. Empathy and Mr. Compassion. His Afghanistan speech yesterday told a different story, and should end that phony spin forever. My takeaway was how cold, and hard, and compassionless Biden was as he sought to extricate himself from the catastrophe of his own making. He blamed everyone but himself for his failure, particularly the Afghan army. He smarmily assured terrified Afghanis left behind he'd now speak out for their human rights instead of actually protect them. He effectively told U.S. servicemembers their service was for nothing. It was appalling.

As of this writing, Taliban forces have just entered Kabul, Afghanistan, the terrorist group’s leaders say that no force will be used to take the city, and both Taliban and Afghanistan government leaders say they’re working to negotiate a peaceful transfer of power to a “transitional government.” US Embassy staffers are being ferried from the Embassy to safety via Chinook helicopter after destroying records so that when the Embassy itself soon falls/is abandoned the Taliban won’t obtain information that could be used to hurt Americans or American interests. Instead of a troop withdrawal, 5,000 members of the United States Military are now headed to Afghanistan to oversee our retreat.

Afghan citizens face executions, forced marriages and other possible war crimes as the Taliban sweeps across the country, wrestling control from ineffective government forces as the U.S. troop withdrawal nears, according to U.S. officials and watchdog groups. The militants have seized territory at an alarming rate while Afghan government troops and their allied militias fail to put up an effective resistance – surrendering at times without even putting up a fight. The U.S. embassy in Kabul said Wednesday that it was receiving reports that Taliban members were executing surrendering Afghan troops and unlawfully detaining some members of the government, including military leaders, provincial officials and police officers.
