The Taliban were transformed from an insurgent rabble armed with cast-off Soviet-era weapons into one of the most well-equipped forces in the region in the space of a few days during their lightning-fast advance across Afghanistan. Following the complete collapse of the U.S.-equipped Afghan army, the Taliban were able to scoop up a trove of advanced military hardware: thousands of rifles, machine guns, grenade launchers, artillery pieces and night-vision goggles.(Snip)And then there are the tactical aircraft now believed to be in Taliban custody: hundreds of helicopters, including top-of-the-line Blackhawks; dozens of heavy transport, reconnaissance and surveillance aircraft;

Richard Nixon was forced to resign over nothing, but Laughing Joe and his Merry Marxists keep dismantling the republic, flooding us with migrants and refugees, and printing money.
FTA: Rep. Mike Garcia, California Republican, is a former Navy pilot who flew multiple combat missions in the Iraq War. He said that an enlisted soldier is severely disciplined for misplacing a single rifle, but nothing seems to happen if the government loses weapons worth billions to a terrorist organization. “None of the guys who are accountable for this will be fired,” Mr. Garcia told The Washington Times.

The abandonment of all that military equipment is a fiasco for sure. But in reality, much of it will become unusable shortly after their first maintenance cycle. They won't have the parts or the mechanics to repair the most lethal equipment.

With a stern look and furrowed brows the republicans demand answers. Here's the answer you let the left steal the election now a vegetable in the White House is crashing and burning everything before he does. Don't investigate too much it's a waste of time if you don't prosecute this disaster. That is all.

My bet is that this was a key part of the agreement with Taliban. "We'll give you full, modern equipment if you'll let us leave."
The PuppetMasters have an idea that the Taliban will be useful in the future, so have decided to set them up as a strong, well equipped force.
There are no coincidences. And always ask: Cui bono?

Really, how does something this freakin basic happen. This is outright treason and people have to be charged. This is nothing short of aiding and abetting the enemy. Why are there no charges against these communist democrats, from the top down. Somebody gave the order because this is not normal operating procedure. Our whole country is being destroyed as we speak and nobody is doing anything about it. How do these pathetic democrats and many republicans look their children in the eye knowing they will have no freedom or quality of life. Absolutely sickening....

The usual group of RINO senators voted to confirm Blinken as the current Secretary of State. What else did they expect? There was the "illustrious" RINO in charge McConnell and several other notables, such as Graham, Colling and of course Pierre Dilecto himself Romney. Our own Todd Young was on the list of supporters, too. Go along, to get along has us in a real mess! Don't worry, especially this group will not allow any of the responsible of this disaster be perp walked, or held accountable in any way.

Taliban may have some Blackhawk helicopters, but they won't know how to fly them. As for hundreds of helicopters? I don't believe that. Unless of course the writer is referring to the drones as helicopters. I think for the most part, some of this equipment the Taliban won't be able to operate because so many of them don't know how to read, count, or even name a color. Now they will have to learn English well enough to read the manuals that go with this stuff. The vehicles are easy. Helicopters are not.

What you say would be exactly right, #2, if the Taliban had seized a half dozen Blackhawks, for example. But they now have 158 Blackhawks. They can cannibalize 100 of them and keep a lot of deadly helicopters in the air for a long time.
What Biden has done-- is doing-- is so mind boggling, if it were written as the plot of a novel five years ago no publisher would have touched it. Too outlandish. The greatest superpower on earth in a matter of months shrunk to a senile doofus begging ragtag terrorists not to hurt us.
The heart of the problem is this: those in power do not live in the same country we inhabit. Therefore, they don't really care what happens to our country. Their gated homes, exclusive private schools, medical care, private security guards, fat bank accounts and investments, yachts, ski chalets in Colorado-- all that goes on no matter what happens to the raggedy assed masses.
How hard is it to imaging Nancy Pelosi saying, at one of her $30,000 a plate fundraisers, "Let them eat cake!"

The Taliban are busy writing thank-you cards to Joe and Barack for the nice gift. The weapons were not accidentally left behind. Every US rifle must be tracked by serial number so how did the senior officers in Afghanistan overlook that little inventory regulation? The truth will be revealed soon enough.
I hope Taliban leaders assume that the Blackhawks are easy to fly, jump right in and try a couple of practice takeoffs.

I believe Biden is demented and ordered the troops out. And he wouldn't listen to anyone else because that has been his nature his whole life to be a bully. The VP and the generals had the responsibility to step up and stop this insanity. They didn't. They should all be brought up on charges.
