The Supreme Court ruled Tuesday against the Biden administration’s attempt to end former President Donald Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy. In a 6-3 vote, the court rejected the administration’s bid to block U.S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk’s ruling that revived the enforcement of the policy. The high court said the administration failed to show the decision to end the policy was not arbitrary and capricious.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Monday that President Biden will host a virtual meeting with progressive House members to negotiate a lower price tag on the $3.5 trillion budget reconciliation bill.
Biden will meet with members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus later Monday "in order to have a discussion about the path forward, which includes the recognition that this package is going to be smaller than originally proposed," Psaki said during her daily press briefing.
There have been multiple reports of military planes arriving at Bagram airbase in Afghanistan, just hours after images emerged showing that power was restored to the base for the first time since US forces evacuated the stronghold in July.
Images circulating on social media appear to show the airbase's floodlights blazing in the distance, amid reports that several military planes have taken off and landed at the base in recent hours.
Several sources suggest that the aircraft are Chinese, given the Taliban are not thought to possess the expertise needed to power the base or maintain and fly several military aircraft.

Coweta County, GA – An alleged home intruder wanted on multiple warrants was found dead on the front porch of a residence after he broke into a house and was mauled to death by two dogs, according to police. Coweta County sheriff’s deputies were called to a residence on Walt Sanders Road off of North Highway 29 at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 24 after the homeowner returned to his house and found a man dead on his porch, The Newnan Times-Herald reported. The deceased man was later identified as 21-year-old Alex Binyam Abraha, an Atlanta resident who was wanted on multiple warrants out of Fulton County, according to WTVT.
