The two tattooed brothers arrested in the fatal shooting of a Chicago cop are both felons — with the 21-year-old alleged shooter on probation for felony robbery and his sibling for theft. Emonte Morgan was busted on a charge of first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of Officer Ella French on Saturday night. His 22-year-old brother Eric Morgan was charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and obstruction of justice.

Nul Pros That is an abbreviation for the Latin for do not prosecute. They acted with the approval of the Mayor and City Council, who want to defund the Police anyway. You don't have to pay dead cops. There will be no prosecution. They are free to go. They have done the citizens a favor. That is two cops who do not need to be on the payroll and on the force bothering citizens who are busy doing crime.

#2, The term "peace officer" is a term used to refer to law enforcement officers, from some decades ago, and perhaps still among more senior folks, that respectfully refers to the primary duty of our police...specifically "keeping the peace".

Of course they did. That's because felons have more rights than everyone else because the Democrats see them as a voter constituency that won't hesitate to vote multiple times. This is what corruption looks like. They have created a criminal class.

So now these two criminals get to spend the rest of their lives on the taxpayers dime. I think that it is time to bring back the death penalty. Also Jamel Danzy, the person that bought the gun used in the crime and sold/given to these two slugs, should spend about forty years in prison. If you enforce the laws that are now on the books you will bring crime down. Lighthead doesn't want to enforce the law because she thinks it's racist. If you do the crime you must pay the penalty.

Don't look now, but this "probation" BS is what's happening in your community's courthouses daily. When a thug violates probation, they're hauled back into court and guess what happens? Well, their probationary period gets extended; again and again. Meanwhile, they stay on the streets until someone's life is shattered by their violent acts. Citizens need to wake up. Demand sentencing reform (truth in sentencing) and the abolition of probation for second or subsequent crimes.

#11 The rest of their lives? John Hinckley Jr. shot our President and (eventually) murdered Brady. Today he is walking the streets and living the free life. Then again, soon as they get "free at last" they will go directly on the public dole and stay on the taxpayer dime for the rest of their lives. Now I think about it, you are right, the rest of their lives on our dime.

Older CPD officers are just praying they can hold on and retire. Every cop in Chicago with less than 5-10 years in should walk off the job today. You are hated by the government you work for, and they will not lift a finger to help you. If you shoot a perp, they will prosecute you. Leave before its too late.
