DES MOINES, Iowa — Former Vice President Mike Pence told Breitbart News exclusively that Democrat President Joe Biden’s “bad policy,” including his $1.9 trillion coronavirus aid package and massive new spending proposals under consideration in Congress, could derail economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic. Pence’s comments came in a wide-ranging interview Friday evening about the Biden agenda and the upcoming midterm elections at the Family Leadership Summit after he gave remarks to a crowd of about a thousand Christian conservatives in downtown Des Moines, Iowa.

Did he get paid for his turning on America? I also wonder if people read comments written about them. Should send him a copy of these comments. He a jerk

Mike Pence, like the rest of the clueless and disloyal GOPers, still thinks it's 1952 and that one can "negotiate" with the Dem Party. It's a war with the Dems for the country and one party rule if they get their way. BTW - Rich Lowry has an interesting* article in Jewish World News about Biden's recent comments on the Civil War. * - cheap shot at Trump and his claims about the Nov 2020 election.

The Maine branch of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency busted a massive shipment of cocaine hiding in a sheet cake in a perp’s car this week. The agency on its Facebook page said it arrested a man and a woman “following the discovery of a significant amount of cocaine in their vehicle along I-295.” The bust was made on the basis of an anonymous tip, the DEA said; a drug-sniffing dog helped locate the four-pound bag of cocaine, valued at $200,000, in the man’s car.

Special counsel John Durham's report into the Trump-Russia investigators should be submitted in a way that allows it to be released to the public when completed, the Justice Department said. Sens. Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin pressed Attorney General Merrick Garland for answers about Durham’s inquiry. Although the Biden DOJ did not fully answer Republican questions about Susan Hennessey, an appointee in the Justice Department’s National Security Division whom they said displayed “bias” toward Durham, it did provide some clarity on its thoughts on Durham’s impending report.

Majority Leader Chuck Schumer outlined an ambitious summer legislative schedule on Monday that would include passing both the bipartisan infrastructure bill as well as a Democratic budget resolution that would unlock consideration of a much larger spending package.

Historically, Democrats and Republicans were merely opposition parties. They had a few shared objectives — prosperity, liberty, and national security. However, they had very different ideas about how to achieve those objectives. It was a political environment well suited to debate and compromise. Then the election of 2000 happened, and something changed. George W. Bush won the presidential election by a mere 537 votes. Losing in such a narrow fashion was too much for the Democrats to cope with. In their rage, they went insane. The Democrat party has always had radical elements.
