FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Georgia Sec. of State Brad Raffensperger called for the firing of Fulton County's elections director, Rick Barron, and the county's registration chief Ralph Jones on Thursday. The county's elections board voted in February to fire Barron, following a remarkably contentious election season. Fulton's Board of Commissioners, however, did not endorse the move, leaving Barron in the position.

I think that's the point #1. The sudden turnabout in Raffie's attitude, and the firing of elections officials IMO means some of the low hanging fruit in the election machine have already started spilling stuff because of the audit. Raffie is just trying to cover his tracks.

Agree with OP. Raffensperger is part of the problem. HE should resign. He didn't do his job either out of animus towards the President or because he is incompetent. Now it appears he wants to appear tough to cover his own failures and in a hopefully vain effort to save his job. To quote Hillary Clinton, after leaving men to die in Benghazi, "What difference, at this point, does it make?"

Raffensperger is in this thing up to his eyeballs. Suddenly, he has seen the light, and figured out which way the wind was blowing. He is as dirty as Kemp, and the rest of the Elections Committees that enabled the steal. I spit on all of them.

The "there is no fraud' narrative is starting to fall apart quickly and it's not going to be pretty. The traitors that were involved in the fraud will start running for cover and do everything possible to avoid jail time. if we only had an FBI and Justice Dept. that cared about the integrality of the US elections. With Xiden in charge we can forget about that. If you live in a PA, WI, MN, NH, GA, AZ call your state representatives (both assembly and Senate) EVERY day and demand action!!!! Call friends that think likewise and have them call too. Get in the streets and protest!!! We cannot let this stand,

#14, I think Kemp was as guilty as Raffensperger. I think they were both Paid off. They fought tooth and nail to keep from having an Audit. They fought the Guiiani Team who brought Proof of Fraud. They are still fighting to stop the Audit because it is going to do exactly what was done in AZ. The Audit is going to PROVE Biden didn't win! I hope BOTH Gov. Kemp and Raffensperger lose their Jobs. They can't be trusted ever again!

Republicans warned they are not ready to back a $1 trillion infrastructure package Democrats hope to consider next week because they are skeptical of how the government would pay for the plan without adding to the nation’s staggering debt. “I don’t see any way possible that this is on the floor next week,” Senate Minority Whip John Thune, a South Dakota Republican, said after meeting with GOP lawmakers. Majority Leader Chuck Schumer outlined an ambitious summer legislative schedule on Monday that would include passing both the bipartisan infrastructure bill as well as a Democratic budget resolution that would unlock consideration of a much larger spending package.

In the letter, the lawmakers call on the NSA to provide them with information about allegations that the agency was spying on Carlson in regards to communication with U.S.-based Kremlin intermediaries pertaining to a potential interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Axios reported. The Axios report referenced two sources “familiar with Carlson’s communications.”

Speaking on Saturday at a Conservative Political Action Conference’s (CPAC) in Dallas, Texas, Grenell said two violations were potentially committed, based on the claims from Fox News host Carlson. Carlson claimed Wednesday during his popular cable television show, “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” that his identity was “unmasked” by the NSA, which conducts surveillance on foreign targets, after he attempted to schedule an interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Protests erupted yesterday in all of Cuba’s major cities against the nation’s ruling Communist dictatorship following over six decades of oppression. Protesters chanted “freedom,” “enough” and “unite,” and demanded the dissolution of their nation’s communist dictatorship. Protesters had specific complaints about the nation’s food shortages, high prices, and handling of the coronavirus outbreak, which were correctly attributed to their government. The Biden administration was initially silent on the protests, and only commented that they’d vow to condemn any violence in Cuba. Biden himself waited until this morning to say that the U.S. stands with the Cuban people.

The National Football League (NFL) recently joined virtually every other American institution in lauding — and marketing to — the LGBT community during Pride Month in June. It did so by releasing a new 30-second commercial proudly proclaiming that "football is gay, lesbian, queer, transgender, bisexual and exciting." WASHINGTON — Two weeks after celebrating America’s near “independence” from the coronavirus, President Joe Biden is confronting the worrying reality of rising cases and deaths — and the limitations of his ability to combat the persistent vaccine hesitance responsible for the summer backslide. Cases of COVID-19 have tripled over the past three weeks, and hospitalizations and deaths are rising among unvaccinated people. While the rates are still sharply down from their January highs, officials are concerned by the reversing trendlines and what they consider needless illness and death. And cases are expected to continue to rise in coming weeks.
