The White House on Wednesday called on OPEC and its allies to boost oil production as gas prices continue to climb, threatening the nation’s economic recovery. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said in a statement the administration has spoken with OPEC members urging the group to increase production. OPEC, which stands for the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, reached an agreement last month with its non-OPEC allies, known as OPEC+, to increase oil production by 400,000 barrels per day. But Mr. Sullivan said that isn’t enough to bolster the oil supply.
“While OPEC+ recently agreed to production increases, these increases will not fully offset previous production cuts

Yeah, like OPEC is gonna give Joe any deals. Heck, they gotta figure in the bribe money (and art purchases) for Hunter plus 10% for "the big guy."

Throw this in the face of the next enviro- whacko. The U.S. has tons of clean natural gas but we can’t use it because OMG it’s a fossil fuel. So instead we ask countries with less efficient pollution controls to pump more oil for us. Only a leftist could defend that kind of hypocrisy and stupidity.

You're exactly right, #4, but I would add it's also giving money to the anti-semite misogynists.

The sheer stupidity/hypocrisy of the dem. party is staggering. We pay people more to stay home than to work, but even with the extra bucks, tell them they don't have to pay rent. We went from the lowest unemployment ever, to mass unemployment that needs a 3.5 trillion job plan. From energy independence to buying high priced oil from our enemies. From common sense heath decisions, to listening to a flip-flopping media star wanna-be. It literally boggles the mind, that our elected (?) officials will sell out this country in order to further line their pockets. Make no mistake, it's not just the senile ones family getting rich. We need trillions in spending so each of the elites can get a few million, or more.

We enjoyed energy independence under the Trump Administration. Why does Joe want us to send our money to OPEC or other suppliers, like Russia, Venezuela and Iran? This is madness!

I scratch my had looking for the reasons why the Democrats have undone everything Trump accomplished without plans for their replacements. On immigration, the plan is to turn Texas and Florida blue. Overwhelm their hospitals with Wuhan patients and cases, and then blame DeSantis and Abbott for not having a mask mandate. But beyond that, the only answer I can come up with is that Obama is behind this because Trump was successful. They are playing with the lives of people just to get revenge on Trump, and the RINOs have to share the blame. It's all so disgusting!

We were energy independent just a short while ago.
Why ask OPEC to pump more when you have it right here in the United States?

Joe Biden stopped new oil production in New Mexico (which is about 1/3 of the Permian Basin, the most prolific oil field in the WORLD, the rest being in West Texas). He's done similar things up north.
And yet begs Russia, Iran, and Saudi for oil.
Not even Joe is this stupid. It's intentional.

Trump turned the US into the world's largest oil supplier. In 6 months Biden is begging the Saudis to send us more oil. The reserves are still here. Possibly there's a Hunter Bag somewhere in the works.

The Biden administration is completely anti-USA. Why doesn't he call on Texas to increase oil production. We could do that, if the government would take their boots off our necks.

This is summer all we are complaining about are high gasoline prices to travel. You/we haven't seen what's going to hit the declining nation yet, winter season. Heating oil, overloaded failing power grids and reduction in natural gas for heat because the this communist, demented, clueless, stupid moron joe Biden killed it all. May his moronic supporters who voted for this buffoon suffer the consequences of their vote when winter comes. Remember Texas with those stupid windmills and solar panels that failed during their blasting cold spell. Let a democrat explain that one away.
