Native American and white parents of multi-racial students at Lakeville Area Schools, alongside other Lakeville parents and students, have filed a federal lawsuit challenging the posting of Black Lives Matter posters on school property, claiming the schools refuse to post divergent views such as "All Lives Matter" and Blue Lives Matter posters. The lawsuit is filed against Independent School District 194 and Superintendent Michael Baumann. The plaintiffs named in the suit include Bob and Cynthia Cajune, Kaylynn Kay Aker, Lion 194, and others who are not identified.

Good for them. It only takes a few people with courage to start a revolution. I suspect that there are many more sensible and informed people in this country to be heard from. We can only be insulted and ignored for so long. And only so many indoctrinated dolts, even though the dolts have been making most of the noise, so far.

This is our school district. Our children attended private schools and we are empty nesters. But as a direct taxpayer I hope they are very successful. I wonder if we can join the suit?

Not sure if it has changed either locally or nationally but...The "Teachers Unions" had written contractual control over ALL posters, bulletin boards and information propagation spaces in schools for many many years. NOTHING could be posted without them approving first, and it could only remain as long as they decided, nothing removed without their say so.It went so far as them not approving of "Presidential Photos" of W.Bush or Trump being displayed in the offices or classrooms.(as well as pictures of prior Presidents no longer in vogue)

Great to see parents and others moving to end this hypocrisy. BLM is nothing more than an American hating communist organization built on a hoax. Every American should be appalled by this group.

If the school district wants to be inclusive then they need to be inclusive of ALL, not just a selected minority. What if someone wanted a LGBTQ Lives Matter sign, TRANS lives Matter, Muslim Lives Matter, Asian Lives Matter? To meet the schools standards as stated in their statement, they would nee to post all of the signs. OR post no signs. You can't pick and choose. You are inclusive or not.

Minnesota state Sen. Foung Hawj was never a fan of the "Asian carp" label commonly applied to four imported fish species that are wreaking havoc in the U.S. heartland, infesting numerous rivers and bearing down on the Great Lakes. But the last straw came when an Asian business delegation arriving at the Minneapolis airport encountered a sign reading "Kill Asian Carp." It was a well-intentioned plea to prevent spread of the invasive fish. But the message was off-putting to the visitors.

Jim Geraghty’s written two posts today making the case that something is up. I’m not sold on his first post. His second is more persuasive. The first post argues that Biden’s chat with George Stephanopoulos was filled with enough contradictions and awkward stammering that, paired with his low visibility lately, we might reasonably conclude that his health has become an issue. Whether you agree comes down to a gut check on how you felt about the interview. I didn’t see it as out of the ordinary for Biden. In an article last week, I posited that the silent majority in America is angry and becoming loud. A reader — we'll call him Lloyd — sent me the following: "Trump-supporters are neither silent nor the majority ... and if we had a straight-up popular vote of what the majority of the people want, you'd never win again." I believe that's a challenge to my assumptions. Are conservatives really a majority, or are they just using the Electoral College to occasionally cheat the "will of the people" to win as a minority? The second part of Lloyd's statement implies that Republicans have an unfair advantage due to the Electoral College.
