The Biden administration on Thursday struggled to speed up evacuations of as many as 80,000 Americans and Afghan allies — with the suddenly pressing effort being marred by obstacles ranging from red tape and visa paperwork problems to massive crowds and often violent Taliban checkpoints that barred entry.Even American citizens with valid passports fear making the perilous journey to the airport for fear of the armed Taliban fighters who surround the Kabul airport.David Marshall Fox, an American who moved to Afghanistan in 2013, told The Post on Thursday that he’s abandoned hope of getting onto an evacuation flight, saying the danger of his young son getting shot

So, did they get those willing to come to America for Jihad out first, yet they're struggling to get Americans out? Recall the pics of the plane full of military-aged young men. Those people stuck waiting years for visas only needed a plane ticket to Mexico, and they'd be illegal Americans by now. What were they thinking?

Regarding the Afghanis who have helped us, they must be vetted. Are there really tens of thousands? We just cannot throw open the door and say come on in. If they are fortunate enough to leave Afghanistan, it would seem to me that the prudent decision would be to house them in a secure location outside the United States where they can be fully vetted. It is irresponsible to bring them directly here without knowing who they are. My preference would be that only those who actually aided our military should come here. The rest should go to other Muslim nations to live. We are being overrun by people coming through our southern border. Adding tens of thousands to that number is irresponsible.
The Biden administration has made a complete mess of this country whether by sheer incompetence or by their venal strategies or both. However, we cannot afford to just stand around and criticize. Real actions must be taken to hold the Biden administration accountable. Articles of Impeachment should already be prepared and heads should roll. No United States President should be able to weather such a travesty and remain in office. Biden, just for this one incident alone deserves to be removed from office.

I believe what we’re seeing is another huge step towards New America and a New World Order. Could the chaos have been avoided? Yes. But only if Biden’s priorities are the old priorities. In our new world, Old Americans are just the same as Afghanis or Morrocans or Ghanaians or Norwegians. And there is more coming - a lot more but what will truly reveal New America is the predictable housing shortage. How dare you have empty bedrooms when Hussein and Abdul and Cho Tse and Umbabweya need shelter! And the food shortage? As Nicole Kidman showed us in a promotional video, eat grubs.

FTA: "He moved to Kabul in 2013 to work at a university there, and later got a job at an Afghan media group before launching his own market research and production company."
Raises more questions than it answers. Was he on the tenure track at the University? What is the name of said university? Describe the goals and objectives of the Afghan media group. Market research of what, goats, rugs or poppy production?
I smell a rodent.

People were paid huge compensation for working in Afghanistan. Maybe there was a reason for that? If you want to work overseas in a war zone that's your business but to bring the family with you? Not cool. To ignore the dangers to them and not pay attention to local politics? Just plain stupid.
The senile fool from Delaware should have been impeached months ago. Donald Trump was brought up on false charges four times by the Nasty Pelosi-Schiff-Nadler trio. Biden's crimes are publicized all over CNN every day and she dares to praise his sorry arse. Impeach now!

According to the article, the effort to save thousands of Americans is "being marred by obstacles ranging from red tape and visa paperwork problems to massive crowds and often violent Taliban checkpoints." This is what Marxists do. If you don't have all your "papers," you can just be butchered by the Taliban.
All of this "chaos" is by design. Biden didn't bungle this. He's not in charge. His handlers are giving the orders. We have subversives running our country who hate America. This debacle will benefit our enemies, including the Chinese Communists who have infiltrated our government. Just a reminder, the esteemed Sen McConnell is married to a Chinese woman whose family are elite members of the CCP and own a shipping company. Mitch now has a net worth of 55 millions, not bad on a US Senator's salary.
There are traitors in our midst and dark forces at work. When you see chaos and anarchy like this, it's clear evil forces are at the helm. Biden is simply a maniacal marionette.

Visa paperwork problems? Like those being inflicted on the hordes streaming across our southern border? Get every American out FIRST even if they don’t have a passport. Deal with the Afghanis later.

If those stranded in Kabul would agree to buy a Hunter Biden painting, they will be whisked out of that inferno immediately. Surely explains why Afghan President Ghani and his family had to cram $169 million into their aircraft before leaving last week: original Biden’s aren’t cheap. Especially when there is a 10% seller’s markup for “the Big Guy”.
The irony is that those scrambling to leave a country infamous for its political corruption are desperate to have our incredibly corrupt as well as grossly incompetent president rescue them.

Opportunity lost. Too bad that the USAF personnel instinctively strapped the Taliban plants to the floor of that C-17A. Coulda just opened the back door at 10,000ft and dumped them onto the mountains of Afghanistan. Don’t be angry at me, I’m just trying to get them their 40 virgins. Not sorry.

Don't look to Saigon for a historical analogy, look to operation Keelhaul. We forced Soviet expats at bayonet point back to the USSR only to see them, the very same people hanging from trees as we returned to American controlled zones. And the 20,000 American POW's and 30,000 British POW's (originally taken and held by the Germans) were never freed, they were just left to die in the gulags. Somehow we skipped that part when we were taught about our great triumph of good over evil in WWII.
And now some of their grandchildren are proud to be espousing socialism. They probably have no idea how grandpa actually died.

Roanoke, VA has received 50 afghan families via Catholic charities and has already set up an account with Amazon so that we Americans can provide them with what they need. That was fast, yet they cannot or will not help stranded Americans in Afghanistan. Let the catholic church take care of their own mistakes.

With tens of thousands of people jamming the airport, impossible to maintain basis human services. Water, food, and sanitation. Diseases will spread soon if not already.

"An American who moved to Afghanistan in 2013....." at that point I stopped reading.
Yes, he should be able to get out.
Yes, Traitor Joe and his crew of incompetents should not have planned for this to happen.
Yes, there should be a special place in hell for the bureaucrats and politicians who have created this. Note that I said CREATED, because I don't think this is an accident. This is the plan.
BUT.....somewhere in the mix, Mr. Fox should have never moved to this hell hole, and if he made that stupid error in judgement, he should have bailed out long ago.

When Biden was installed, this idiot working in that hell hole should have gotten his family out immediately. That the moron even lived there and had a child while he was there tells you everything you need to know. As someone asked, where is the mother? You will notice there are no women in the picture. That's Afghanistan. Women are on a lower scale than their goats and it's only gonna get worse. I suspect the mother is Afghani.
As others have said, this disgusting display of American cowardice and incompetence is just that, a display. This scenario is being directed by the global deep staters that installed Biden and is another body blow at America, further weakening our once mighty Republic. I'm not sure how much longer we everyday Americans can let this go on. But I see few options since we have no leader right now. Our beloved Trump has been neutered and that was the plan right along. Please someone tell me I am wrong about all of this.

Agree totally, #26. The day to be looking for transport out of Afghanistan was Nov. 4th, but even considering the thought that things might have gotten fixed, when they swore that puke in on the 20th, you should have been packing your bags.
Did you think somehow Xiden was going to improve the situation there (or anywhere)? Xiden has been turning gold into sht for 50 years now, just like his clean and articulate buddy King Stinky. Both have the Reverse Midas Touch.

The professor is guilty of bad judgement but working in foreign hellholes with even blue collar work paying six-figure salaries with all of it tax-exempt can be a powerful draw. I did it for a year in Kuwait and very quickly came to realize that living in America beats living under muslim laws and making the big bucks is just not worth it. Small infractions can get you jailed and don't even try making eye contact with one of those things in a burqua that they call women. They are called foreign hellholes for a reason.
