How Big Is the Angry Majority?

Original Article

Posted By: DW626, 8/20/2021 6:09:24 AM

In an article last week, I posited that the silent majority in America is angry and becoming loud. A reader — we'll call him Lloyd — sent me the following: "Trump-supporters are neither silent nor the majority ... and if we had a straight-up popular vote of what the majority of the people want, you'd never win again." I believe that's a challenge to my assumptions. Are conservatives really a majority, or are they just using the Electoral College to occasionally cheat the "will of the people" to win as a minority? The second part of Lloyd's statement implies that Republicans have an unfair advantage due to the Electoral College.

I am weary of the lame electoral college meme. This is the United STATES of America, not the united cities. The President is elected to administer the Federal government which Constitutionally serves the UNION of STATES. BTW why do "democrats" so often run to the courts when they lose the popular vote ?

The angry majority is just that - the majority. Fortunately for the Left, we tend to play by the rules of decent society and not complain a lot while the Left getting down and dirty has become SOP for them. There really is a red line, folks, and they will know when it has been crossed. Personally, I can see it from here and the fight for America is coming. Signed: Domestic Terrorist.

We're only the majority if we stick together for a single purpose. Right now any and all differences not directly germain to the salvation of the Republic in its founding form, defining the relationship between sovereign citizens and the limited government that serves them, protecting their unalienable rights, must be tabled. We have got to stop engaging in anything else, there is no room for a second priority right now. I'm describing a wartime mentality, and laser focus for good reason.

There is one election bloc that is key. It's not race. It's gender, specifically women. We are in an era of prosperity, which allows big heartedness to dictate politics. We live in a world where consequences are invariable interpreted as injustice. And that is wrapped in propaganda to trigger sympathy and inspire "action." And then the question comes down to how angry are women, and angry about what? That you refuse to be vaxxed? That you oppose mask mandates, endanger the weak and infirm with your "liberty"? That Black Lives Matter and you say all lives matter out of spite to excuse further denial of our national mistreatment of blacks and so many other groups of people? And now to pick on Joe, who's doing his best against the tide of these insurrectionists...Support your President! That's where the real "anger" lies. It's not rational. It may not be anywhere near true or correct in POV. But that's what traditional American thinking is clashing with. America needs to reform...and conservatives want to preserve their privilege.

I'm of the mindset that I don't know if I'm in a majority or a minority but I just know I'm not 'one of them' who burn cities, fight with law enforcement, vote for dumb idiots like Joe Biden or gets my news from CNN and Oprah. If there are others like me then I don't know how big in numbers we are. I know President Trump is still President not the fraud Joe Biden. One thing is sure Obama won his presidency I accepted that for eight long years but never burned down a city because of it I never said he's not my president. In the election of 2020 I can say Joe Biden is not my president he never will be or Jill Biden be the First Lady they are all fraudsters.

Fifty years ago, journalist Gary Allen set out to write a book to prove conservative anti-communists wrong. But while researching, he realized he had not seen the "hidden picture." There indeed was a conspiracy, shielded by a narrative advanced by liberal academia and the mainstream media, both actually in the service of an elite cabal that included Rockefeller, Ford, Morgan, Rothschild, Loeb, Kennedy, and Carnegie. No longer willing to dismiss "right-wing conspiracy theorists," he titled his book, published in 1971, None Dare Call It Conspiracy.

Unsurprisingly, many of Obama's newly offered truths are woefully inconsistent with those he formerly foisted on us. I've lost track of whether this is version 1.2, 2.1, or 3.0. In any event, we have yet another layer of Obama's ipse dixits to add to his earlier ones, undoubtedly also likewise intended to be gospel and therefore ineligible for further questioning. The outcry has begun to impeach Joe Biden. He should be. Dan Bongino is noteworthy in making the call. And not for “light and transient causes,” to borrow from the Declaration of Independence. Not to stage show trials, like Pelosi, Schumer, and other Democrats did to Donald Trump. If the United States had a recall referendum provision – as otherwise dysfunctional California does --canvassers would secure signatures to hold a Biden recall vote in record time, no doubt. In just about seven months in office, Biden is surpassing what it took James Buchanan and Jimmy Carter

Many historians are apparently more interested in spinning their personal political views than in objectively evaluating past Presidents of the United States. Do not trust the various rankings of presidents that you may see. Ninety-one people filled out a survey form sponsored by C-SPAN and ranked the Presidents. Lincoln and Washington were placed at the top; Donald Trump was placed near the bottom, below a President who died after 32 days in office, so didn’t really serve. The popular theory for China's remarkable growth from a poverty-stricken agrarian country into an industrial juggernaut that is now grasping towards superpower status is that "China fueled its former spectacular growth with massive government spending." But like almost everything in our world today, there is almost always a different reality. According to Richard Haass, the former director of policy planning for the U.S. Department of State and current President of the Council on Foreign Relations, China had enormous help. He states that the West orchestrated China's growth to create a powerful rival on the former Soviet Union's doorstep to deter wars in that region.

This observation refers to the July 22 New York Times story on the Pelosi ban on two Republican congressmen from her Jan. 6 select committee, which now will consist of eight Pelosi puppets.(snip) Let's pause a sec for an instant translation. The "conduct" at issue alluded to apparent concern that the banned representatives would not go along with the biased findings of Pelosi's eight committee puppets, but would insist on issuing a minority (that is to say, dissenting) report, and in Pelosi-world, dissent is not acceptable.

A friend in South Africa has been keeping me updated about what’s going on there. My friend forwarded to me a round-robin letter (“the Letter”) that South Africans are sharing -- and that reflects his experiences. Critical Race Theory is liable to end for reasons very similar to the reasons the Salem witch trials ended. In January 1692, nine-year-old Elizabeth (Betty) Parris and 11-year-old Abigail Williams (the daughter and niece of Samuel Parris, minister of Salem Village) began having fits, including violent contortions and uncontrollable outbursts of screaming. After a local doctor, William Griggs, diagnosed bewitchment, other young girls in the community began to exhibit similar symptoms. A special court, the court of Oyer and Terminer convened in Salem to hear the cases; and based on spectral evidence the first convicted witch, Bridget Bishop, was hanged that June.

The poll was taken during and after the fall of the now-Taliban-controlled Kabul, Afghanistan, when Biden botched the U.S. troops’ withdrawal from the country.
