The COVID pandemic is over.
Thanks to the work of President Donald Trump, a vaccine is widely available to anyone who wants it. And, coming from that research, a new pill from Pfizer that cuts the risk of death and hospitalization by 90 percent in individuals who contract COVID, is in front of the Food and Drug Administration for approval.
Those who want to protect themselves from COVID can do so easily, and those who chose not to take advantage of the vaccine or the pill (when it is approved) are in any event are unlikely to die from the sickness.

It made for a good laugh a few months ago when Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), a particularly fierce critic of former President Donald Trump, indicated she wasn't ruling out a run for president in 2024. Her actions as of late have only fueled further speculation that she really is going for it. On Tuesday night she not only publicly railed against Trump before a large audience, but she did so in New Hampshire. As the first primary state, even just stepping foot there can get people talking. Rep. Cheney made her remarks at St. Anselm College’s Nackey Loeb School of Communication.

Is the Biden administration governing in a way that takes into consideration the will of the American people? Based on his plummeting poll numbers and crude anti-Biden chants filling sports stadiums, the answer would seem to be no.
Last week’s defeat of the left at the polls in Virginia and elsewhere was a reminder of the pushback of “we the people.”
Some leftist pundits said Terry McAuliffe lost his Virginia gubernatorial campaign in 2021 because he didn’t campaign to the left enough. Others remarked it was the alleged “white supremacist” factor that gave conservatives the victory.

Today we celebrate Veterans Day, a holiday that honors all American veterans, living or dead, who served their country honorably during war or peacetime.
On the “11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month” in 1918, the Allied nations and Germany agreed to an armistice, ending World War I, which is generally regarded as “the war to end all wars.” It became known as “Armistice Day,” and is commemorated by many countries.
One year later, in Nov. 1919, President Woodrow Wilson declared Nov. 11 as the first commemoration of Armistice Day. On June 4, 1926, Congress passed a resolution

Jake from State Farm won’t have to worry about doing any commercials with anyone else because Aaron Rodgers isn’t going anywhere.
In response to the sport’s media’s quest to get Aaron Rodgers canceled from his many lucrative sponsorship deals after seeking Covid treatment advice from the left’s chief Covid nemesis Joe Rogan, State Farm Insurance has decided to stand by their man.
In a statement to USA Today, a State Farm spokesman made it clear that the company encourages vaccinations and backs the right to make a “personal” choice.
“We encourage vaccinations, but respect everyone’s right to make a choice based on their personal circumstances,” State Farm told USA Today.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) officially filed paperwork for his 2022 reelection campaign on November 5 and reportedly told Fox News he has “only just begun to fight.”
The governor filed the documents on Friday, according to Florida’s Department of State (DOS).
DeSantis told Fox News he has “delivered on all fronts.”

Shockingly, America, Big Bird has officially entered the COVID-19 vaccine war.
Sesame Street — the critically-acclaimed and breathtakingly informative infectious and emerging diseases show for kids — has launched a campaign to shill for children as young as five to be vaccinated. Even “better,” Big Bird, along with Elmo, Grover, and Oscar the Grouch, appeared on CNN — who knew? — town hall to pimp the “Sesame Street” vax for kids campaign.
The same CNN, mind you, as RedState reported in late October, that ridiculously touted in a headline:
People vaccinated against COVID-19 less likely to die from any cause, study finds
The Saturday morning town hall, titled “The ABCs of COVID Vaccines,”

Sure — your house might beat the pants off your neighbors’. But let’s talk real-world metrics: How woke was the system that led to its erection?
As we continue to learn, there’s no area where social justice can’t prevail.
Apropos of such ascendancy, welcome to the world of architectural enlightenment.
At the University of Minnesota, they’re taking wrecking balls to structural racism.
“Several (job) openings,” UM’s website announces, are “centered in Design Justice.”
In addition to architecture, fields set for racialized renovation include graphic design, product design, and interior design.

We’ve seen a lot of freak-outs now from folks on the left about the saying “Let’s go, Brandon.”
Perhaps one of the things that is so amusing about media objections is that while they get the saying is a criticism of Joe Biden, they don’t seem to get that it’s also a criticism of the media — that it was a comment on the fake news of the media after an NBC Sports reporter claimed “F**k Joe Biden” was “Let’s go, Brandon.” Most in media still aren’t journalists enough to either have figured that out or to admit it.

Is it just big-mouth social media blather, or is this an actual threat to the jury hearing the Kyle Rittenhouse case in Kenosha? And if it is, what’s being done about it?
George Floyd’s friend, Cortez Rice, who is sometimes referred to as Floyd’s nephew, released a video on Twitter in which he claims he knows people gathering photos and other information about the remaining 18 men and women in the jury pool.
Cortez issued the video as an apparent warning to the jury. In it, he says he didn’t even “want to name the people that I know that is in the Kenosha trial. But there’s cameras in there.

Consumer borrowing accelerated by far more than expected in September, as American households dealt with rising prices by swiping their credit cards and taking out more loans.
Total consumer credit increased $29 billion, up from a $13.8 billion gain in August, according to data released by the Federal Reserve Friday.
Economists had been expecting a $15.5 billion gain, according to Econoday.
That’s a monthly gain of 0.7 percent, well above the decade average of 0.4 percent. Compared with a year ago, consumer debt is up 4.9 percent.
Consumer prices rose 0.4 percent in September and were up 5.4 percent compared with the prior September.

A 15-year-old girl who reported to school officials and the police in Charlotte, North Carolina, that she was sexually assaulted by a boy in the girl’s bathroom has been suspended, according to media reports.
Following a 45-minute interview with the victim, who said the boy put his hands down her pants and under her shirt, the police charged the boy with two counts of sexual battery. But school officials decided to suspend the girl for “false reporting.”
The Daily Beast and the local Fox News affiliate reported on the development, both refraining from using the name of the girl or her mother, who spoke to the media about her daughter’s experience.
