New Jersey state Senate President Steve Sweeney conceded Wednesday to Republican candidate and commercial truck driver Edward Durr, who spent only $153 on his primary campaign.
"The results of Tuesday’s election are in, all votes have been fairly counted, and I, of course, accept the results," Sweeney said during a press conference at the statehouse.
"I want to congratulate Mr. Durr and wish him the best of luck," added Sweeney, who has served as New Jersey state Senate president since 2010.
When asked "what happened" to upend the race in the state's 3rd Legislative District, Sweeney replied, "It was a red wave."

I finally saw a unicorn. Like Monica's boyfriend's wife, they weren't ready for the unexpected. This news will be the last mention of a tactical mistake they won't repeat. That guy who 'found' those 12,000 votes left town and no one has heard from him. Shouldn't the 'mystery' of 12,000 fake votes be fully investigated? Perhaps the mere mention of such an idea made someone sit Sweeney down and told him what to do.

We should not be too hard on this guy, Mr. Durr said that it was appropriate to wait

Please. Sweeney shows up in Murphy's or Biden's regime. Good for Durr though.
P.S. Murphy lost as well.

#1 Bingo! Sweeney found 12,000 votes and we need to see them. And count them. And identify the inkjet printer and the kitchen where they were created.
You at least have to ask Sweeney: What about the missing 12K?? Did ya lie about em? Or are they disenfranchised.

One interesting tidbit picked up on Mr. Durr. The primary reason he ran was because he was denied a NJ concealed carry permit.
The really cool thing about that it that it is highly likely that the Supreme Court will overturn all state discretionary 'may issue' concealed carry permitting systems with the NY case and require simple, objective standards 'shall issue' concealed carry laws in all states.
Mr. Durr may get to help write NJ's new concealed carry permit law next year. Big Grin.

oops, those 12000 votes were for another election. Too bad. Sweeney used up his stockpile, and it wasn't enough. Double the number of fake ballots next time, Dems.

Sweeney is most likely so corrupt he had to clean out his office before the new Senator moved in so not conceding gave him that time. no telling what he hauled out of their state house but, he's a demcommie which means he probably stole a lot, like wee willy and PIAPS when they left the White House.

Sweeney must have gotten beaten worse than we know; even he called it a red wave. If he were backed by the Pub go alongs to git, Mr. Durr would have conceded as soon as they announced that they'd found the 12K votes.

"...without him, New Jersey would undoubtedly be a worse place for working families." Governor Murphy referring to Sweeney.
Not possible. New Jersey is the worst place in the country in many categories. At least the northern part. I could barely tolerate flying over it.

Wait a minute, what happened to the 12,000 votes that mysteriously were found the day after the election? Did the Post Office mess up again? That does it. No more mail in voting. Not reliable. LOL.

No. 1...HELL YES them 12,000 votes need to be investigated. BET'CHA we would find that the dim-0 party shot him down, preferring to save that trick for another election for fear that they would be caught on this one.

re #1 - i never saw any reporting that anybody other than sweeney made statements about 12K votes being found and noted a couple of times that these statements were not coming from election officials. however, if they did then hell yeah a real investigation is warranted.

Election wise, it may turn out that stealing the 2020 presidential election will be the most self destructive thing that the demonrats ever did. Everyone, even those who will never actually admit it, knows what truly happened and will be watching for the fraud in the future. The demonrats may have shot their wad last year and will never be able to pull it off again. Just ask shoo-in McAwful in Virginia.

Mr Durr's election has been a great story. This is why Dimmiecrats need to be challenged up and down the ballot. Sometimes the voters are sick and tired of the entrenched big-spending politician and will throw him out if given an option.

Sweeney hasn’t really conceded. He will now do what Democrats always do when they lose. He will spend the next four years trying to destroy Durr and stop anything he tries to accomplish. He’s nothing but a thug.
