NFL launches new ad proclaiming
'football is gay, football is lesbian...'

Original Article

Posted By: Hazymac, 7/17/2021 4:27:13 PM

The National Football League (NFL) recently joined virtually every other American institution in lauding — and marketing to — the LGBT community during Pride Month in June. It did so by releasing a new 30-second commercial proudly proclaiming that "football is gay, lesbian, queer, transgender, bisexual and exciting." The ad begins by stating "football is gay" to the sound of drums rolling and people cheering. (I'm not sure what Dick Butkus would have to say about this advertisement, but I digress.) [Tweet] The ad is in part a direct response to Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Carl Nassib's recent announcement that he is gay, a league spokesperson said.

Comments:

The NFL is immunizing itself against its traditional fans, probably the most stupid corporate decision in a year rife with them. They're going to drive off all their old fans, and there won't be enough new ones to make up the difference.

Not from the Onion? Not from the Babylon Bee? This is real? If so, the NFL's only hope is that the ad only plays in San Francisco and maybe Key West.

If it is possible to commit an unforced fatal error at the corporate level, the nfl has found a way. It just appeased itself out of existence.

I haven’t regularly watched football since NapHead kneeled. I became a fan as a child, listening to Bama’s Tiny Giants on the radio, and later when I moved to NoVa, the Redskins became a bonding mechanism for my dad and me. At one time, I knew all teams, their division in the NFL, their major players, and their head coach. Bye, NFL. Thanks for the memories.

The NFL commissioner, Goodell, is retiring, and seems to be going out with a bang! Lord hep us, I did it again! I played some football in my youth, but I did not play split end, tight end, or wide receiver. Never mind.

Football is honest and merit based. It is goal oriented and forthright. It is militaristic and brutal. It is as American as the Bronze statues being yanked down everywhere. It is being intentionally poisoned and removed from American culture. This is not a corporate mistake. It is part of the remaking of our once great nation. Liberals don't do honest and straightforward contests. And those who do must be re-educated or eliminated.

It won't matter. The jocks who get off on watching mercenary Football players will still watch in spite of anything the NFL has to say. There are some men in America who are so tied in with watching Sports that nothing will stop them. It may hurt them a little, but not dangerously so. Many people enjoy paying too much for tickets , getting ripped off on concessions, and watching over weight black players bang up against each other. It's as close to the Roman Coliseum as they can get.

These "brilliant" people are rapidly running out of nails for the lid on football's coffin. What bothers me is the systematic dismantling of the American way of life and her domestic interests. Football, baseball and other pastimes are being corrupted and the citizens are being riled on a daily basis to weaken their resolve. I fear once our political and military strengths no longer pack the gear or have the teeth they once had, it will begin to get very dark unless we can ra!ly like we used to.

I am not interested in the NFL's politics, or predilections. I would, however, like to propose that the NFL, instead of announcing where they went to college in their introductions, gave their criminal histories. The NFL does mention when someone makes an appearance at a children's hospital. Why not mentioning the appearances before a judge, when there is so much more of that.

JUNG: There thinkers, intuits, feelers and sensors. Football fans tend to be people who place sensation up front. It appears from mental health records that homosexuals share the consciousness of sensation. This penchant of homosexuals does not make football "gay". People with morals know better.

It is not only the sports organizations. Even a lot of churches are pushing the types of behavior that led to the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. There is nothing in the Bible that remotely says that homosexual behavior is acceptable, yet gay ministers and bishops are celebrated. The foundations of society started crumbling way before the NFL jumped on the bandwagon. We are a nation in serious danger of forgetting what made America the envy of the world. One of the most fascinating questions about WW2 concerns when the Nazis realized they had lost the war. Some say the generals knew early as December 1941, when Operation Barbarossa was stopped before Moscow, that the great throw of the dice had failed. Others say civilian leaders came to it in 1942 when Case Blue failed to secure the oil they needed to fight on in the East. But most certainly the public moment had come by February 1943, when Joseph Goebbels delivered his famous “Total War” speech admitting that, far from attaining victory, the Reich would be very lucky to survive without a mobilization on a Communist scale.

NEW YORK CITY—Just as New York City restaurateurs thought they would perhaps see their way out of crushing COVID-19 restrictions and back to “normalcy,” the city’s government dealt out another blow: Restaurants will now have to check customers for proof of vaccination, or themselves face fines. In response, restaurant owners seem to have flocked to one of two positions. Some support the rule as long as it prevents more lockdowns, while others reject it as an unreasonable imposition on their already vulnerable operations. Restaurants have been among the hardest hit by the lockdown imposed in response to the pandemic of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, which causes COVID-19. New York City

I don’t know when this particular boom will be lowered on me, if ever, but if my website Jihad Watch and I suddenly disappear from your daily Internet reading, you’ll know that our intrepid self-appointed protectors are working night and day to keep you safe from violent extremism, and are to be commended for doing so.

The Mexican government on Wednesday sued several U.S. gun manufacturers, alleging that they contribute to illegal gun trafficking to Mexico. The lawsuit was filed in U.S. federal court in Boston. Among the defendants named in the suit are Smith & Wesson, Barrett Firearms, Beretta U.S.A. and Colt’s Manufacturing Company. The companies did not immediately respond to CNBC’s requests for comment. The gun manufacturers are accused of negligent business practices that facilitate smuggling guns to Mexico and cause “massive damage” to the country. The lawsuit alleges that they knowingly supply the criminal gun market in Mexico in particular, saying the companies’ military-style guns often

Even world-record-holding athletes can be surprised by their personal feats. Norway’s Karsten Warholm crushed his own world record to win the men’s 400m hurdles final in 45.94 seconds on Monday night. And his reaction was priceless. On July 1, Warholm broke American Kevin Young’s 29-year-old world record of 46.78 seconds at a Diamond League meet with a time of 46.70, and he blew by that mark just over a month later to win gold in Tokyo. American Rai Benjamin also beat Warholm’s previous world record on Monday by finishing in 46.17 seconds, but it was only enough for him to land the silver medal. Brazil’s Alison dos Santos (who had a similar reaction as

How determined is the Biden administration to let illegal aliens in? Well, according to the latest report from Breitbart, determined enough to put in overtime to defy a judicial order. Here's the report: (Snip) It's a strange thing, seeing the federal government defy a judicial order in order to benefit foreign nationals illegally present in the country. They claim it's a "mistake," but that doesn't hold water — according to Robert Law at the Center for Immigration Studies, they actually put in overtime on the weekend, something they rarely do, all to get those nine cases through.

A Coptic Christian church was recently burned to the ground—not in Egypt, where the torching of Coptic churches is not an uncommon occurrence, but in Canada, also known as “the church-burning centre of the Western world.” In the early morning hours of July 19, St. George Coptic Orthodox Church in Surrey, which served 500 families and provided food for the homeless, was set aflame and completely destroyed. Only one charred wall remains standing. According to the report, “The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but Surrey RCMP [police] said it is being treated as ‘suspicious.’ The St. George Coptic

Tax officials must give former President Donald Trump’s tax returns to a congressional panel, the Department of Justice said Friday. The House Ways and Means Committee has long sought the returns, only to be stymied by federal officials. Rep. Richard Neal (D-Mass.), chairman of the panel, has said he wanted six years of Trump’s tax returns as part of a possible adjustment of federal law concerning tax policies. The attempt was blocked by the Treasury Department during the Trump administration. The Department of Justice previously said that refusal did not violate

On September 14, Californians of all political persuasions will answer two questions on their ballot: 1) Do you want to recall Gov. Gavin Newsom? 2) Whom do you want to replace him? The fate of our nation will be determined by the outcome of those two questions. How can I say that? First, you have to know what's really going on, so let's pull back the curtain. Months ago, Ric Grenell publicly said he had no interest in running for governor because Pelosi's daughter said there wasn't going to be a recall. If it came down to it, Feinstein would have a sudden reason to retire,

Joe Biden has been pretty clear about his desire to ban handguns. During his CNN town hall last week, Biden was asked, “So, how will you address gun violence, from a federal point of view, to actually bring about change and make our local cities safer?” In his response, Biden told the woman who asked the question: “The idea you need a weapon that can have the ability to fire 20, 30, 40, 50, 120 shots from that weapon — whether it’s a — whether it’s a 9-millimeter pistol or whether it’s a rifle — is ridiculous. I’ve made no secret of my support for Larry Elder. If I were still in California, I’d vote for him in a heartbeat. He’s intelligent and deeply principled, and California is in very bad shape. The good news is that I’m not the only one who likes Larry. It turns out that a lot of Californians are relieved that Bruce “Caitlyn” Jenner isn’t the only alternative to Gavin Newsom. According to an Emerson College/Nexstar Media poll, there’s bad news for Newsom and good news for Elder. With the election coming up in September, currently, 43% of voters want to recall Newsom, while 48% want to keep him in office.

The adult LGBTQ population in the United States reported living in households facing much higher levels of food insecurity when compared to non-LGBTQ adults, according to data recently released by the Census Bureau. Of the more than 64,000 people who responded to a recent survey by the bureau, 13.1% of LGBTQ adults reported living in a household “where there was sometimes or often not enough to eat in the past seven days,” compared to 7.2% non-LGBTQ adults. The latest version of the Household Pulse Survey, which measures household experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic, also included questions about respondents’ sexual orientation and gender identity.

He sure is. One can give him a partial pass on COVID’s resurgence since the rise of the Delta variant was out of his hands. But the other three here are squarely on him. Even COVID is only a partial pass. Many millions of senior citizens are sitting around waiting to be infected as the immunity from shots they received six or seven months ago ebbs. What are Biden’s CDC and FDA doing about it? Jack at the moment, to all appearances. I have no sense of how the catastrophic lightning fall of Afghanistan’s government will play with voters.

What will it take for Joe Biden to admit he is disastrously wrong about Afghanistan? The US leader struck a defiant pose last week. Sounding like a slightly desperate Olympics coach, he told Afghans it was their country. If they want it, they have to fight for it. In American politics-speak, this is called tough love. Without the love. Biden has more hands-on foreign policy experience than any president since George HW Bush. That doesn’t mean he knows what he’s doing. Opinion polls suggest his abrupt Afghan withdrawal has majority public support. That doesn’t mean Americans will remain indifferent as the carnage and misery mount.

As the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attack looms, the National September 11 Memorial & Museum is crying poverty for the second year in a row. This time, it says it can’t afford to mount special exhibitions planned to mark the two-decade milestone. In 2020, the twin-beam “Tribute in Light” was canceled only to win a last-minute reprieve after soon-to-be-ex Gov. Cuomo pitched in state resources. But no such bailout appears in the offing this time. In fact, this year, the museum is shamefully restricting the reading-of-the-names ceremony exclusively to the families of 9/11 victims. No hero firefighters, cops, first responders or emergency workers,

Listen, as Lester Holt and Pete Williams describe how the “terror threat advisory” isn’t based on any actual threats or plots, but just a lot of “anti-government rhetoric” that includes things like “opposition to COVID measures” like masks and vaccine measures. From Yahoo News: “Extremists may seek to exploit the emergence of Covid-19 variants by viewing the potential re-establishment of public health restrictions across the United States as a rationale to conduct attacks,” the DHS advisory said, adding that “pandemic-related stressors… may contribute to more violence this year.” So, if there aren’t any actual plots
