Former President Donald Trump called Friday night for Senate Republicans to withdraw from negotiations over President Biden’s $1.2 trillion spending proposal, warning that "RINO Republicans" were "just being played by the Radical Left Democrats." "They will give you nothing!" Trump warned in his message, which was distributed by email under the banner of Trump’s "Save America" organization. "Very important that Senate Republicans not allow our hard-earned tax reductions to be terminated or amended in an upward trajectory in any way, shape or form," Trump wrote.

But - - but - - that's why the GOP is there - - to be played by the demonrats. What else have they ever done?

Trump saw that first hand when he got played by McConnell more than once on this free cash for all BS. Every time Trump entered into negotiations good-faith with McConnell, he got shafted. McConnell loves to bend over for Chucky. Right now they are just negotiating his price.

Trump is right. And a huge part of the GOP are just Uniparty, happy to belly up to the trough, get their dollops of taxpayer money, and special power, and a chance to order people around. Constitution be damned.

Yes the evil trio that keeps getting reelected, by the way, is the gift we keep giving ourselves. The larger group who stay silent except when they are up for reelection are the bigger problem. My Rep. Ronny Jackson has already learned to play the game. Expect to see Kevin McCarthy elevate him to leadership if we retake the House in 2022. I wonder if we have the time left it will take to replace all the wimps in our House and Senate.

A man accused of vandalizing Hunter Biden's art gallery and attacking an employee has been arrested, police say. Rodrick Webber, 47, was detained at approximately 3:40 p.m. Friday at the George Burgess Art Gallery in the SoHo neighborhood of New York City after he defaced artwork inside the gallery, representatives for the New York Police Department said in an email to the Washington Examiner. Webber allegedly spray-painted the word "Daddy" on a wall inside the gallery, damaging a painting worth $14,500, and when a gallery employee approached him, Webber assaulted him, authorities said.

Haitian government officials said they’ve asked the United States to deploy troops in an auxiliary effort to help shield Haiti’s infrastructure from attack amid the political turbulence the country is experiencing after President Jovenel Moïse’s sudden assassination Wednesday. They requested U.S. forces to help protect Haiti’s port, airport, gasoline reserves, and other facilities. There are concerns that the leader’s murder could exacerbate the already fraught situation in the country, which is afflicted by civil unrest, economic instability, gang violence, and a COVID public health crisis, among other woes.

Although President Joe Biden has been known to angrily confront reporters for what he considers overly harsh questions, the legacy media have taken it remarkably easy on the president and his family. While the media have circled hungrily around every potential charge facing Allen Weisselberg and remain focused on the Trump family, they have ignored multiple scandals facing Joe Biden, his son, and his brother. A major conduit of federal research funding to the Chinese coronavirus lab at the center of ongoing speculation over the origins of the SARS-Cov-2 virus is not complying with a months-old request from House Republicans for documentation related to his work with that lab, while Democrats in the House have failed to issue a subpoena to compel that evidence. Peter Daszak, the president of the U.S. nonprofit EcoHealth Alliance, has been the subject of growing scrutiny over the last several months regarding his role in the funding of the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

As we head toward this weekend's 245th anniversary of American independence, critical race theory has emerged as the dominant subject gripping and dividing the nation. The threshold question, itself the subject of rancorous and oftentimes disingenuous debate, is what the term "critical race theory" even refers to. When this semantic debate surfaces, proponents usually attempt two things at once. First, they accuse their CRT-skeptical interlocutors of being bigots, white supremacists or apologists who want to deliberately muddle and whitewash America's complex -- and at times tragic -- history of race relations.

This cultural reawakening’s beginning coincided with both the Juneteenth holiday and the one-year anniversary of the one of the largest protests in American history against racial injustice. (snip) I want to unmask the lie that evolution denial is about religion and recognize that at its core, it is a form of white supremacy that perpetuates segregation and violence against Black bodies. Under the guise of “religious freedom,” the legalistic wing of creationists loudly insists that their point of view deserves equal time in the classroom.

The administration of Democratic Gov. The Pennsylvania Department of State said in a two-page directive that the request by state Sen. Doug Mastriano of Franklin County, an ally of former President Donald Trump, “jeopardizes the security and integrity” of the counties’ voting systems. " Such access by third parties undermines chain of custody requirements and strict access limitations necessary to prevent both intentional and inadvertent tampering with electronic voting systems,” the department said.
