A man accused of vandalizing Hunter Biden's art gallery and attacking an employee has been arrested, police say. Rodrick Webber, 47, was detained at approximately 3:40 p.m. Friday at the George Burgess Art Gallery in the SoHo neighborhood of New York City after he defaced artwork inside the gallery, representatives for the New York Police Department said in an email to the Washington Examiner. Webber allegedly spray-painted the word "Daddy" on a wall inside the gallery, damaging a painting worth $14,500, and when a gallery employee approached him, Webber assaulted him, authorities said.

Comments:

FTA #1: "I was trying to paint the phrase, 'Daddy is a war criminal,'" So - - we know that the perp is a loony leftist. FTA #2: "None of Biden's artwork was ruined." Ummm - - like - - how can you tell if that crap was ruined or not?

FTA: "Because we don't know who is paying for this art and we don't know for sure that [Hunter Biden] knows, we have no way of monitoring whether people are buying access to the White House. ... What these people are paying for is Hunter Biden's last name," said Walter Shaub, who led the Office of Government Ethics under former President Barack Obama. Biden's artwork could fetch up to $500,000 apiece, a price tag that one curator says is entirely attributable to his political status. "How much of that value is due to the art itself? That's easy: None of it," Jeffry Cudlin, a professor of art curatorial studies and practice at the Maryland Institute College of Art, said in an email to the Washington Examiner. "They're fine decorative amateur work. Hey, everybody needs a hobby!” Another Biden scam in the works…

Former Acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Richard Grenell on July 10 said federal action should be taken against the individual or individuals who allegedly “unmasked” the identity of Fox News host Tucker Carlson to the National Security Agency (NSA). Speaking on Saturday at a Conservative Political Action Conference’s (CPAC) in Dallas, Texas, Grenell said two violations were potentially committed, based on the claims from Fox News host Carlson. Carlson claimed Wednesday during his popular cable television show, “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” that his identity was “unmasked” by the NSA, which conducts surveillance on foreign targets, after he attempted to schedule an interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Protests erupted yesterday in all of Cuba’s major cities against the nation’s ruling Communist dictatorship following over six decades of oppression. Protesters chanted “freedom,” “enough” and “unite,” and demanded the dissolution of their nation’s communist dictatorship. Protesters had specific complaints about the nation’s food shortages, high prices, and handling of the coronavirus outbreak, which were correctly attributed to their government. The Biden administration was initially silent on the protests, and only commented that they’d vow to condemn any violence in Cuba. Biden himself waited until this morning to say that the U.S. stands with the Cuban people.

As we head toward this weekend's 245th anniversary of American independence, critical race theory has emerged as the dominant subject gripping and dividing the nation. The threshold question, itself the subject of rancorous and oftentimes disingenuous debate, is what the term "critical race theory" even refers to. When this semantic debate surfaces, proponents usually attempt two things at once. First, they accuse their CRT-skeptical interlocutors of being bigots, white supremacists or apologists who want to deliberately muddle and whitewash America's complex -- and at times tragic -- history of race relations.
