National Geographic posted an unhinged and unscientific tweet on Independence Day saying fireworks are racist because they affect communities of color. What complete BS. This is what can be described as “scientism” and NOT “science.” There is absolutely no proof to support this theory. In fact, in cities like St. Louis and New York City, minorities shoot off guns on New Year’s Eve and the 4th of July. This is much more dangerous than sniffing fireworks smoke for a night.

A formerly good magazine that has gone to the darker side, never to be credible again.

So the as yet to be' free' blacks are forced to buy the stuff and set 'em off? Good gosh almighty, how stupid does NG think blacks are.

I wonder if the National Geographic remembers that many years ago kids bought it or "borrowed" it from their parents to look at the photos of topless black women in the jungle.

Nat Geo a couple decades ago was a decent publication. Since it got on the global warming kick it might as well be MAD Magazine. Some nice pictures to look at in that doctor's office but I can't bother to read a word of it.

We seem to be on the runaway train of mandated black supremacy. Cold comfort knowing their future will be a hell on Earth like they could never imagine in their wildest fever dreams.

I’m canceling my gift subscription to NG and using my saved library of issues going back years for a bonfire. Let’s see if the smoke from that disproportionately affects poor Black people.

I quit subscribing when almost every article in some way alluded to climate change or global warming. Now I see it's everything is racist. Honestly, these bozos must sit around the table, drinking booze and trying hard to think of something idiotic to claim racism over.

But it IS true. Smoke means fire and when ghettoes burn, it mostly affects the black residents.

As Jericho Green says, “Black people are the Fabergé eggs of the races.”
This is tongue-in-cheek as he is a dyed-in-the-wool individual black American.

Nat Geographic used to be a great highly respected publication which I enjoyed until they became so PC that it is obvious that left-wing idiots are running the company.

As part of school-overcrowding baby boomer groups, our 4th and 5th grades had to hold class in the library because good old PS #4 had run out of classrooms. Upshot of it was the boys in class didn't want to go outside for kick ball, or hide'n'seek, but instead opted to read available magazines. Look, Life, and hopefully National Geographic mags where many a camera lens captured lithe and lovely Nubian and other native women who were mostly unclothed. Those 4th/5th graders really studied up on geography

I live in Georgia where fire works, and I mean the mortars and not just sparklers, are perfectly legal. I was able to walk to the end of my driveway for a 360 degree view of fireworks going off. For HOURS...... Shortly after sunset, there was so much smoke in the air that it looked like a fog bank was rolling in.
I was shocked, SHOCKED I tell ya.......that when I rolled out of bed this morning, the sky was clear. ut I must confess.......it never occurred to me that my black neighbors were more affected by the smoke than I...../S/

After NG (is its name racist?) sells off its assets to nonracists and distributes the proceeds to victims of racism, perhaps it could publish a list of what is NOT racist.

Liberalism, progressivism, "-woke" ism needs to be investigated as a communicable mental disease causing people to lose all ability for rational thought. The question is who would investigate it who isn't already afflicted.

There is only one solution - -
- - the fireworks manufacturers must add a menthol flavor to the smoke.

Did the editors explain why smoke from fireworks affect Black people but the smoke from Walgreens, Rite-Aid and Target stores being burned down doesn't?

Well Boys and Girls, many of you like me are wondering what the Hell is wrong with the thinking at National Geographic. I went to their site to see how to send them a message and low and behold, guess what I found; National Geographic is now 73% owned by Disney. That explains what has happened to this once great publication.

#30 So Disney owns the large percentage of NG? Well, doesn't Disney still set off fireworks at their theme parks? Humm.
