Hobby Lobby Faces Backlash
Over Newspaper Ad Calling
for Christian-Run Government

Original Article

Arts and crafts giant Hobby Lobby faced a backlash after it ran a full-page advertisement on July 4 in several newspapers across the U.S. that appeared to call for a Christian-run government. The advert, which Hobby Lobby ran in newspapers on Independence Day, was titled "One Nation Under God," and included the Bible verse "Blessed is the Nation whose God is the lord," as the company also posted about its campaign on its social media pages.

Comments:

In today’s secular world, Hobby Lobby is to be commended for its courage in holding fast to Judeo-Christian doctrine. Lest anyone forget, “Being a Christian is less about cautiously avoiding sin than about courageously and actively doing God’s will.” (Pastor-Theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer)

This is a truly magnificent company, unafraid of being open followers of Christianity. That, of course, makes them a target of the secularist (and worse) scum. No one needs to shop there if they find the principles offensive. Go shop on Amazon or a plethora of other sources.

There are a few theocratic countries on earth today. Almost all of them are Islamic in nature. Are they "blessed?" They officially accept Jesus as a good guy whose mom was Mary and dad was unknown. But a good guy. Hobby Lobby is fighting a rising tide of secularism in the West today. The USA has already succumbed to it.

Hey leftist prigs, show me ONE example of a Revolutionary War "transsexual" patriot, or one Civil War lesbian nurse, or a "drag queen" of the WWI trenches, or an "openly gay" paratrooper from WWII, or a Vietnam War "Tunnel Rat" cross-dresser. Please show me one famous Old West homosexual gunfighter. You see, the problem with written history (which you all are attempting to destroy), is that it completely undoes your narrative of "it's all normal" and "Christianity is the problem." And the reason Jesus never had to deal with sodomites in His time was because sodomy in Israel was punishable by public stoning, and WAS enforced. You see, sodomy, pedophilia, and lesbianism are always ABHORENT to the Lord, in the past, the present, and future. Leftists are in all ways enemies of the One True God, the creator of all things. Please boycott Hobby Lobby, we don't want to breathe the same air as you in their stores.

WELLINGTON — The Ohio Republican Party estimates 20,000 to 25,000 people attended the “Save America” rally Saturday. Lorain County Republican Party Chairman David Arredondo said he'd personally estimated about 20,000 people were in attendance at former President Donald Trump’s first rally since leaving office. Arredondo said state Party Chair Bob Paduchik confirmed 20,000 to 25,000 attended the event held near the Lorain County Fairgrounds. He said it was a significant number of people, given the nine day notice attendees had for the event. What other personality--former president, rock star or actor--could pull this kind of crowd together on a short notice?” Arredondo said.

With the creation of June 19th ("Juneteenth") as a federal holiday, Democrats have one more claim to be the party of civil rights and equal opportunity for African Americans, though most Republicans also voted for the holiday. That claim has been promoted for decades by a compliant media, academia and high-profile politicians, but the facts say otherwise. From Abraham Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation in 1863 to the mid-20th century, members of the Democratic Party, dominant in the South due to its opposition to civil and political rights for African Americans, were on the wrong side of civil rights.
