Arts and crafts giant Hobby Lobby faced a backlash after it ran a full-page advertisement on July 4 in several newspapers across the U.S. that appeared to call for a Christian-run government. The advert, which Hobby Lobby ran in newspapers on Independence Day, was titled "One Nation Under God," and included the Bible verse "Blessed is the Nation whose God is the lord," as the company also posted about its campaign on its social media pages.

This is a truly magnificent company, unafraid of being open followers of Christianity. That, of course, makes them a target of the secularist (and worse) scum.
No one needs to shop there if they find the principles offensive. Go shop on Amazon or a plethora of other sources.

Our country was founded by Christian run Patriots and because God has been pushed away by satanic works we are suffering dearly right now. Never forget our founding principle: In God We Trust.

There are a few theocratic countries on earth today.
Almost all of them are Islamic in nature.
Are they "blessed?"
They officially accept Jesus as a good guy whose mom was Mary and dad was unknown.
But a good guy.
Hobby Lobby is fighting a rising tide of secularism in the West today.
The USA has already succumbed to it.

The Constitution was created for a Christian people. It is not suitable for heathens and sodomites. God is not inclusive to the wicked. Read Revelations 21:27

Hobby Lobby is the REAL deal when it comes to their PR matching what goes on behind the scenes. They do not curry favor with the America-loving Christians and then give money to the Southern Poverty Law Center. God Bless Hobby Lobby!

Hobby Lobby should have something to worry about if they were NOT persecuted.
Christians are of the Light. The world hates the Light. They love the darkness, because their deeds are evil. (See John Chapter 3)

Backlash from how many people? I wonder how many people out there were really involved in this backlash. Or is it maybe a group of twenty people or less causing a fuss with their social media accounts.

I winder if the Jewish army vet and the pastor have condemned BLM,Antifa. MLB, NFL NBA and the racist, Marxist democrat party.
BTW, the Constitution does not prohibit Christian leadership.

Hey leftist prigs, show me ONE example of a Revolutionary War "transsexual" patriot, or one Civil War lesbian nurse, or a "drag queen" of the WWI trenches, or an "openly gay" paratrooper from WWII, or a Vietnam War "Tunnel Rat" cross-dresser. Please show me one famous Old West homosexual gunfighter.
You see, the problem with written history (which you all are attempting to destroy), is that it completely undoes your narrative of "it's all normal" and "Christianity is the problem." And the reason Jesus never had to deal with sodomites in His time was because sodomy in Israel was punishable by public stoning, and WAS enforced. You see, sodomy, pedophilia, and lesbianism are always ABHORENT to the Lord, in the past, the present, and future. Leftists are in all ways enemies of the One True God, the creator of all things.
Please boycott Hobby Lobby, we don't want to breathe the same air as you in their stores.

I don't often go to Hobby Lobby. My hobby is something that they don't carry much for.
But I'm going to stop by and see if I can find 'something that I can't live without'.

It is such a pleasure to shop at Hobby Lobby, walk around the store and hear the old hymns being played. I'm a crafter and I bet you don't find many crafters or seamstresses who would be out on the street burning down buildings and smashing windows. Thank you, Hobby Lobby. Those people complaining wouldn't be in your stores anyway.

I'm not going to feed the troll (Newsweak) just to see if the ads even mentioned Christianity, let alone pushing for Christians to run government. The two lines cited in the lede are simply Deism. And I'm not inclined to trust anybody much who doesn't acknowledge a moral authority higher than themselves or their political party.

In today’s secular world, Hobby Lobby is to be commended for its courage in holding fast to Judeo-Christian doctrine. Lest anyone forget, “Being a Christian is less about cautiously avoiding sin than about courageously and actively doing God’s will.” (Pastor-Theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer)
