Budweiser isn’t my favorite beer company and it’s done some woke nonsense in the past, but its recent commercial is a straight-up patriotic knock out of the park and it encourages us to celebrate our independence day with one of the most patriotic speeches ever made in cinema. You probably know the one I’m talking about already, especially if you’re in my age group, and in the interest of keeping to my tactic of rewarding a business when it does good and lambasting it when it does bad, let’s check out this latest commercial.I was but a lad when I sat down to watch the unbelievably amazing movie Independence Day

Well, let's see: In 2019, Anheuser-Busch pandered to all the gays with their LGBTQIA Rainbow "Pride Cups" and this year, they pandered to all the blacks and guilty white liberals with their 15-module CRT training program at Arizona State U and now when they realize they're going to have to pander to us conservatives and patriots, they pull out Mr Pullman to do a reprise of his president's speech from Independence Day. I might be able to deal with their crude psychological manipulation after a few brews but they for sure ain't gonna be Bud, cause I'm wiser now.

If I remember correctly, the "Presidential" speech in the movie was all about the world coming together, blah, blah, blah.
A patriotic speech would cite this nation as being the hope and light of the world, declaring our opposition to tyranny and inviting other nations to take up the fight as well.

Dang, I thought it would be Jimmy Stewart's speech at the end of "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington". Now, that would be a barn burner today!

I don't reward woke pieces of crap over some commercial pandering to regain lost business. I doubt they believe any of it anyway. If Red State is this easily taken in, I wonder how trustworthy their opinion really is.

Trust Budweiser to stage a fake diverse barfy commercial pushing Covid vaccines as our patriotic duty. Shut up and make beer, or whatever you do.

Stupid commercial. I’ll still drink Bud if it’s in a bar with no craft beers, but it won’t be because of commercials like this. Mr. Red State mustn’t have ever seen real commercials.

The speech given by George C. Scott at the start of PATTON is my favorite. God, do we need someone like that now!

Budweiser posts whatever it takes to sell beer. The good news would seem to be that after 6 months Americans have apparently had a gut full of socialism.

At least no one was wearing a mask in the commercial and were doing normal, fun things. Maybe that sense of normalcy will sink in.

"Go fourth" as in fourth behind China, Russia, and Canada? Or is that supposed to be a clever play on "Fourth of July?" Go forth and ponder that...

I agree with #5. If I remember correctly, the speech was more of a global "patriotism" as a citizen of Earth as opposed to we, Americans of the United States, being the triumphant leader in the fight against evil.

Goosebumps be damned. That movie was total globalist-gobbledy-goop. Only the United States of America fights for freedom. The rest of the world wallows in socialist oppression and communist tyranny, while actively seeking our destruction.
"Independence Day" only has meaning in the USA.
