Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker signed a law on Thursday expanding curbside voting and establishing permanent vote by mail. Senate Bill 825 lays out procedures for election authorities to establish curbside voting during early voting or on Election Day.(Snip)The bill also directs authorities to establish central polling places where “all voters in its jurisdiction are allowed to vote on election day … regardless of the precinct in which they are registered,” according to its text. The measure also allows sheriffs to establish temporary polling locations at county jails. Pritzker isn't in prison yet for something? There's three different kinds of Illinois governors: those in prison, those getting out of prison, and those going to prison.

#10 - you are correct. JB Putzker signed both this crap, and the redistricting maps that were specifically drawn to put 7 pairs of downstate republicans against one another in the next elections. We have no representation outside of Chicago and the collar counties in Illinois. If you live south of I-80 (as I do), you are not governed - you are ruled. I am leaving this state as soon as we retire and heading for less communist climes.

I'm an Illinois native and I can tell you that if you removed the Chicago and East St. Louis areas, we are as Blue as any other state. The votes in those areas are as rigged as the Biden's election was. Go anywhere else, flags are flying. The churches (pre-Covid) and gun ranges are full. We have parades and commemorations in every town for the 4th of July and Veteran's and Memorial Days. We would love to relocate permanently to our cabin in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, but, we can't leave now because our family's are here. There are ultra old and very new members that we need to be near. Pray for us, but don't be afraid to pass through, in general we're very friendly. (I would avoid the city like the rest of us do)

Surprise ~ now that everybody knows what all the tricks are to cheat the mail in system, you'll see a huge jump in voting by what are called boutique parties. This, if anything, will destroy the Illinois Democrat party ~ and the Republicans would be wise to jump in now to make sure they get ALL THE VOTES!

I live here, and I no longer waste my time with the pointless exercise of voting. The Demmunists run Illinois from Chitcago and we have zero representation south of I-80. They just redrew the maps to tighten their stranglehold on this state and make sure that it will be a red state run by Cook Country communists into perpetuity. They need not have even bothered, because they already had veto-proof majorities in both houses and control of every elected office. Republicans don't matter here, and conservatives matter even less. Going to do the last couple of years until I retire, and I am gone forever without looking back.

Chicago   — A veteran mail carrier is fed up and speaking out – exposing the behind-the-scenes issues affecting mail delivery. (Snip) The carrier, who wants to remain anonymous, believes the severe USPS staffing shortage is partially due to the emergency federal employee leave enacted this year – which gives postal workers up to 600 hours of paid leave for COVID-related reasons. That’s right, 600 hours – roughly four months of paid time off if employees qualify. “There’s rumors that people that’s using that COVID leave don’t need it,” the carrier said. And that’s not all. The carrier said his supervisor told him package delivery is now a priority over first-class mail.
