The recent campaign launch by a Bush family scion has upended their longstanding unity, causing heartbreak behind the scenes and even a rare public rebuke from a longtime Bush loyalist. The Bushes have long been known for their conservative politics and loyalty to their inner circle. Political consultants and advisers for former President George H.W. Bush, former President George W. Bush, and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush often worked with them for a decade or more, remaining in close contact years after the time in elected office had come to an end. George P. The only Bush I'd ever consider voting for is one the rest of the family exiled. And I strongly object to the article calling the Bush family conservative. They are RINO's and only count as Republicans because anyone can choose any party they want on the voter lists. They are not now nor have they ever been conservative. The invention of the phrase "compassionate conservative" said it all. They think non-Bush conservatives are not compassionate and by comparison the leftist Marxist democrats are compassionate. The whole family except maybe this one guy can go jump in a lake. They should go away quietly and never be heard from again. But since they're all never Trumpers the same press that called them evil and stupid criminals will not hold them up as the best of the GOP that used to walk with honor. Garbage.

"The Bushes have long been known for their conservative politics" What kind of drivel is this? The Bouches are the biggest milquetoast moderates this side of Jeff Flake. Anyone who still believes this garbage also likely believes Xiden was elected fair and square. Conservatives DON'T vote for liberal trash like Xiden. The Bouche boys did just that. The Bouches are scum. As far as George P goes, just say no. He is most likely just trying to ride the coattails of Trump, and will show his true colors once in office. No more Bouches.

I think my son has it right. I smell a clever Rovian strategy here. The author of compassionate conservatism is expert at packaging a Bush to appear nothing like his globalist relatives. It worked with Dubya. Nobody really believes P is some MAGA hat wearing dedicated Trump supporter. He only endorsed him just before both elections because Texans demanded it. I don’t believe one word of this.

FTA: "George P. was the sole Bush who voted for Trump in 2016, and strongly endorsed his 2020 re-election campaign. Other Bushes have continued to publicly criticize Trump over the years, but George P. has continued to support Trump, including backing the ouster of Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), herself connected to the Bush family through her father Dick Cheney, from House GOP leadership." Good on those willing to give George P a chance to stand on his own legs and make his own way outside of the family's so-called dynasty. Saul of Tarsus (aka Saint Paul) didn't have such a good name but he turned out OK. From his record thus far, I'd say the situation calls for RW Reagan's 'Trust but Verify' approach. Not to be ugly but he already deserves at least a few points for breaking Jeb's heart with his support of Trump in the face of his family's opposite viewpoint.

Forty years ago, researchers described the mysterious cases of five gay men who had fallen ill with a pneumonia caused by the bacteria Pneumocystis carinii. Two of the five men had already died.
