Multiple police officers were reportedly denied service at a Seattle, Washington, chocolate shop. “No, I won’t serve you,” one of the uniformed police officers, accompanied by a trainee, was told by an employee after attempting to make a purchase at an establishment named Chocolati, according to the Post Millennial. A third officer told the news outlet that he had experienced the same treatment at a different Chocolati location. When contacted by the Post Millennial, a Chocolati employee responded by telling the reporter to “go f--- yourself.” Chocolati’s website states that the company’s goal is to “grow at a steady pace

Subliminal message: Half of its customers will stay away. Other people will take advantage of the lawless atmosphere. I predict the stores will close within 2 years.

The employees are empowered to refuse service based on their politics? Why would anyone shop there and why would the Seattle police continue to serve in such a terrible environment? When I visited Seattle a few years ago, waiting for a cruise to Alaska, we had planned to visit the Space Needle. But, after reading reviews about the aggressive homeless around the venue and the advice to stay away, we decided not to. There is something wrong with the people who live there.

Gates, Nardelo, suckerburg even Uncle Warren want this, are advocating for it. Politically they cannot just cut the budget to zero but they can make life so unbearable for police that they quit themselves. To what end? Wouldn’t these potential dictators love to have their own “DC”. It would be an area off limits to USA, they have a port and airport and so much room they could create their own billionaire utopia. They would have their own police and THEIR army could annex even more surrounding area till there is the State Of Gate. Sound crazy? Keep watching and letting them get away with small stuff.

I have relatives in the Seattle area, and have many times noted the dark fog closing around their spirit, morale, and attitudes in the past few decades. Like my father who passed recently, I am fond of that city, but definitely something wrong up there. Probably doesn't help, but I do not believe it is just the well-known climate that could wear people down like that. Cannot believe the palpable, claustrophobic fog of timidity, conformity, and resignation that seems to pervade every corner and aspect of Seattle whenever I go back to visit. I am saddened to see the character of the city is rapidly embracing economic and social suicide as well.. The paragraph says the company's goal is to grow at a steady pace... and then its behavior flies in the face of its goal. I am sorry to suggest that the company's survival can only be at an unacceptable cost to the city of Seattle. The Left has a favorite word for the tactic of stopping something they find unacceptable or inconvenient in its infancy.

MINNEAPOLIS - Community activists delivered stacks of boxes Friday to the Minneapolis city clerk's office to file a petition to amend the city charter in order to replace the Minneapolis Police Department with a public safety department. Following the death of George Floyd, there's been a community push to defund or disband the Minneapolis Police Department. Activists say the petition is a step toward changing public safety and policing in the city. The 30 boxes now standing in the city clerk's office mark the first step of the process for a petition to amend the city charter. According to the clerk

MANSFIELD, Texas — Adam Kinzinger came to Texas this week to hunt unicorns. And on the second, he had lunch with Michael Wood, the only openly anti-Trump Republican competing on Saturday in a crowded special election for a seat in Congress. MINNEAPOLIS — Prosecutors are asking a judge to give Derek Chauvin a more severe penalty than state guidelines call for when he is sentenced in June for George Floyd's death, arguing in court documents filed Friday that Floyd was particularly vulnerable and that Chauvin abused his authority as a police officer. Defense attorney Eric Nelson is opposing a tougher sentence, saying the state has failed to prove that those aggravating factors, among others, existed when Chauvin arrested Floyd on May 25. Chauvin, who is white, was convicted last week of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter for pressing

U.S. resistance to getting a COVID-19 vaccine is slowly diminishing, a new online survey finds, but it still exists and at especially high rates in some blue-collar jobs -- and nearly half of respondents are worried about side effects. For adults under age 65 who are hesitant, reluctance is mainly driven by concerns about safety, side effects and distrust in government, the poll found. It's also largely linked to people's line of work. The bottom line: "Vaccine hesitancy is emerging as a key barrier to ending the COVID-19 pandemic," said lead author Wendy King, associate professor of epidemiology in the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health.
