Once the story of the century,
the Trump-Russia conspiracy
theory has all but vanished

Original Article

It had all the makings of a once-in-a-generation scandal: allegations of political sabotage from a hostile foreign power, the willing cooperation of an upstart political candidate, a stolen election, a compromised U.S. national security system, and a genuine threat to the stability and integrity of the United States itself. Yet after several years of claims from politicians, activists and commentators that President Donald Trump and/or his campaign actively colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election from Hillary Clinton, the scandal itself has essentially died

Comments:

But it has been most enjoyable - - seeing the flood of apologies - - to President Trump and his supporters - - from the leftist newspapers and TV networks - - for their outrageously mistaken reporting - - - - hasn't it?

If the news media and federal investigative bodies had any integrity at all they would be working to expose the origins and peddlers of the conspiracy, as well as the enablers (Schiff, Swalwell) that spent so much time in front of cameras spewing lies.

The whole premise was ridiculous. Why would Putin want someone in the White House who would build a stronger military, stronger economy, make the U.S. oil independent, and put the U.S. first? It makes no sense. Now having an almost 80 year old who has to go to bed by 7:30, and needs cue cards to answer questions, and who wants to wreck the U.S. economy by raising taxes, increasing regulations, and destroying the oil industry in the U.S., that makes sense.

As Trump advised from the get-go the so-called Trump-Russia Conspiracy was a politically based hoax generated by Hillary Clinton, and the leftist Democrats, that was highly politicized by the fake media that has become the propaganda arm for the leftist Democrats. Bottom line on all that, it shows how corrupt the insider DC UniParty has become, and that Trump was right again.

It vanished, but mission accomplished! Trump's Presidency was crippled for the majority of his 4 years. Imagine how much more he might have accomplished without that BS hanging around his neck.

Trump’s failure as president was foolishly believing that his Justice Dept, the FBI, the CIA and other units of the executive branch were committed to upholding federal laws without regard to political beliefs. If anyone knew that there was no Russian collusion it was President Trump, yet he allowed his first AG to recuse himself over a Hillary created lie, thereby allowing one of the coup plotters, Rosenstein, to hire Mueller even though Rosenstein and most of the DoJ and FBI knew that there was absolutely no collision with Russia. Worse, Rosenstein only permitted Mueller and his goons to investigate Trump and his associates, not the actual coup plotters and FISA court deceivers. Then Trump allowed his second AG, Barr, to avoid pursuing coup plotters by hiding behind the smokescreen of John Durham and “the predicatea”. It was frustrating enough to have the news media, Hollywood and the Democrats viciously lying about President Trump. But to have federal law enforcers under the control of the DNC was maddening, and surely the cause of Trump’s underserved defeat.

It was BS from the beginning and at least 3 dozen FBI/KGB, DoJ and CIA traitors should spend decades in prison.

Unfortunately from the get-go it was always the “outsider amateur” Donald Trump virtually all alone against the corrupt, self-serving, and “insider professional” DC career Deep State bureaucracy and UniParty politicians that range up into the hundreds of thousands, who ensured for four years that there was no way that Trump was going to kick over their financial and political Apple carts, as Trump attempted to represent the common American people who reside across the country and specifically outside the DC beltway.

Senate Republicans will introduce legislation Thursday to create a new bipartisan national commission to reduce the deficit and balance the federal budget within 10 years. Republicans are concerned about runaway government spending and how it will be funded after Congress spent nearly $6 trillion in pandemic relief last year while the Biden administration is gearing up to spend trillions more. “We are on an unsustainable trajectory. We’ve become numb to the word ‘trillion,’” said Sen Cynthia Lummis, a Wyoming Republican and the lead sponsor of the Sustainable Budget Act.
