A group of Senate Republicans and Democrats met privately this week to discuss striking a deal on immigration – mainly on providing amnesty to potentially millions of illegal aliens enrolled and eligible for former President Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. Sens. John Cornyn (R-TX) and Dick Durbin (D-IL) led a meeting with 12 other Senate Republicans and Democrats to explore the possibility of passing an amnesty to give legal status to 3.5 million enrolled and eligible DACA illegal aliens.

Fightin' John Cornyn has a great idea - - let's give the demonrats 75% of what they want - - and then they won't bother us any more. Wow! Could any of you have ever thought of that? You can sleep soundly tonight - - because Fightin' John Cornyn is out there fighting for you.

Immediately after his reelection last fall, Cornyn came out favoring amnesty. I will NEVER vote for him again and will work hard to see him voted out of office. I dearly wish the Constitution allowed recall.

The Democrats and most of the Republicans created a mess. Now the only thing they can think of to do about it is to make it worse.

They have sold American Citizens out to the highest bidder. The American dream is only for those wishing to come to America or who have been allowed to jump onto the diversity bandwagon. If your parents, grandparents, or ancestors from further generations back contributed, fought, and worked to better their lives and make this country better, well sorry they were most likely racist and the payment for their fabricated sins will be extracted from YOU! Thank you for playing, have a nice day. Next!

As far as I’m concerned, everyone who has been propping up or staying silent while illegal workers have been pouring into America have been participating in this march to eventual amnesty ! Yes shame shame shame on Cornyn. He is no worse than others who were so hesitant at Trump’s REAL wall efforts.

No, No, No! Stop giving Amnesty to Illegals! Each time they do amnesty it is "the last time" and promises are made to fix the Illegal problem and it is neer fixed. Fix the problems first then talk about maybe letting illegals apply to be legal (but NEVER to be citizens).

If they grant all the current DACA illegal aliens amnesty, Biden will simply enroll all the illegal alien minors now crossing the borderline unlawfully into a new DACA program and the Democrats will simply clamber for them to also be granted amnesty. Always remember to the leftist and liberal Democrats all those DACA amnesty schemes are designed to generate millions of new leftist Democrat voters in the years ahead, while to the wimpy Republicans DACA programs and resulting amnesties are simply cheap foreign labor generators for their business supporters. To the world the DACA programs and subsequent amnesties are simply more encouragement to send more and more illegal alien minors unlawfully into the USA. That is evidenced by the fact that illegal alien minors unlawfully crossing the borderline were never much of a problem before the Obama-Biden administration created the first DACA program for illegal aliens up to about 35 years of age who claimed that they first entered the USA unlawfully when they were minors.

With all the problems we have in this country - like being broke (which is pretty much the root of everything else), this useless Congress (excepting those who are exhausted from trying to keep us barely viable) is choosing to concern itself with the problems of people who are not even tax-paying American citizens. Another one of their stupid ideas ("What can we do today to make ourselves look busy?"). They'll add more to our national debt until we are forced to declare bankruptcy and have to learn to speak Chinese - because China is our banker.

We’ve become numb to the word ‘trillion,’” said Sen Cynthia Lummis, a Wyoming Republican and the lead sponsor of the Sustainable Budget Act.

n the debate over whether one should or should not get the COVID vaccination, much has been said about the “science.” However, I’m not sure any encyclopedic knowledge of “science” is required to make this health decision. Simple statistical analysis should suffice to inform one’s ultimate decision. Statistics is primarily a study of probabilities. Fortunately, as regards COVID mortality rates, these probabilities are now known. That is, COVID mortality statistics broken down by age cohorts are now “known knowables.” For example, through statistics as of April 7, the odds an American under the age of 25 would die from COVID were 1-in-106,217.
