Had Obama Not Played
the Race Card, George
Floyd Might Be Alive

Original Article

George Floyd might be alive had former President Barack Obama not, for eight years, consistently play the anti-cop race card. Despite receiving more white votes than 2004 Democratic candidate John Kerry, Obama said: "The legacy of slavery, Jim Crow, discrimination in almost every institution of our lives -- you know, that casts a long shadow, and that's still part of our DNA that's passed on. We're not cured of it. ... Racism -- we are not cured of it."

Comments:

Little 0bie has never passed up an opportunity to pour gasoline on a racial spark. And no - - George Floyd would not be alive - - because he would have died from a massive drug overdose - - even if he hadn't resisted the police.

Most African-Americans are law abiding people, but those who are not law abiding are getting bolder and bolder because they do not currently fear law enforcement. I call it "The Black Lives Matter" affect. It's spreading and clearly becoming more obvious week by week. The question is to what extent will these behaviors increase going forward.

Race relations were deliberately ruined during O'mama's term for perceived political benefit. This is what predictably happens when the color of one's skin is believed to be sufficient for a job - and the more important the position, the more dangerous the potential damage.

It is getting harder and harder to not judge people by race due to the extremely common black racism and violence by them directed against white people. I work very hard to try to decide if a given black person is one of these hair trigger violent crazies that are attacking white folks for racial reasons, or a normal person with dark skin. It gets more difficult each day.

A lot of people would still be alive today but for Obama's excessive use of the race card, including numerous police officers who were killed in Texas and New York. Obama created his own version of the Nazi "Brown Shirts" and they are called Antifa and Black Lives Matter. Everything happening in this country today has his fingerprints all over it. I knew when he was elected he would destroy this country and he is well on his way to doing so.

It appears that BLM and the Biden(Obama) Administration are using" racism" to ruin America and open us entirely to any world hyenas who want to come in and rob. If they truly wanted equality, they would encourage their followers to behave responsibly and rationally. They do not.

It's a good article, but I disagree with the premise in the title. Had Obama acted responsibly in the incident cited, other black suspects might have remained alive. However, regardless of what Obama did or did not do, George Floyd would still be dead, because he did not die due to action by the police. He died of a drug overdose.

Special counsel John Durham is reportedly scrutinizing British ex-spy Christopher Steele’s main source for his discredited dossier, using a subpoena to obtain documents from the Brookings Institution related to its employment of Igor Danchenko, a researcher who visited Russia in 2016 as he worked for the ex-MI6 agent. The New York Times reported on Monday, citing “people familiar with the investigation," that Durham “has keyed in on the FBI’s handling of a notorious dossier of political opposition research both before and after the bureau started using it to obtain court permission to wiretap a former Trump campaign adviser."

Prince Harry is preparing to return to the UK for the first time since leaving Royal duties after the death of Prince Philip - but questions remain over whether Meghan will join him. Harry's grandfather's death comes weeks after they gave an interview to Oprah alleging racism in the Royal Family which aired while Philip was in hospital. The Sussexes, who faced calls to postpone the interview because Philip was unwell, accused an unnamed royal, not the Queen nor the duke, of raising concerns about how dark their son Archie's skin tone would be before he was born.

Public university officials violated the constitutional rights of a Christian student group and will now face a trial to set the compensatory damages for that violation, a court ruled this week. InterVarsity Christian Fellowship had operated continuously at Michigan's Wayne State University "since the 1930s" — until campus officials stripped its recognition in 2017 for "requiring that its faith leaders profess to be faithful," U.S. District Judge Robert Cleland wrote in a scathing 83-page ruling.

It is "uncommon" for border agents to apprehend known or suspected terrorists, White House press secretary Jen Psaki insisted Tuesday. "While this is rare, this is a reflection of them doing their jobs," Psaki told reporters, referring to Border Patrol and other federal officers

A bipartisan group of lawmakers is warning that the national debt –– now estimated to total $85,210 per person –– poses an imminent threat, especially if interest rates spike. The U.S. government has spent around $6 trillion during the coronavirus pandemic, in addition to regular government appropriations. The $6 trillion figure does not count the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan that President Biden signed a few weeks ago. The deficit set a record in FY2020 at $3.13 trillion. And the national debt has hit a record $28 trillion.

Poll of the week: A new Reuters/Ipsos poll finds that 55% of Republicans falsely believe Joe Biden's victory in the 2020 presidential election was the result of illegal voting or rigging. Additionally, 60% of Republicans incorrectly agree that the election was stolen from Republican Donald Trump. These polls are the latest to indicate that Republicans mistakenly think that the 2020 election wasn't legitimate, when it clearly was. What's the point: Republicans have been pushing legislation at the state level to make voting at least somewhat more difficult than it was for the 2020 election. This has come in the wake of polls showing many Republicans doubt the election result. It is unclear

The words “epic” or “magnificent” are becoming cliched because they’re constantly used as clickbait headlines for things that are anything but “epic” or “magnificent.” That’s a shame because both words apply with their original force to Tucker Carlson’s opening monologue on Monday night. He brought both logic and passion to explaining that the Democrat party’s open borders policy is deliberately intended to import people who will vote for Democrats. In hindsight, what he said is completely obvious but too few people think about illegal immigration in the terms Tucker did. More must if we are to preserve our liberty-oriented, merit-based, constitutional republic.
