Hunter Biden and his business partner engaged in an effort to assist a fugitive Ukrainian oligarch indicted by his father's administration, an effort that briefly captured the FBI's attention and led one of the lawyers in the case to express concern that using the then-vice president's son might backfire, according to emails, text messages and interviews. The effort by Hunter Biden and Devon Archer to assist Dmitri Firtash began in spring 2015 when they were contacted by one of the oligarch's associates

Comments:

John Solomon is a fabulous investigator. He has dug up more incriminating information against leftist politicians than anyone else has. But none of it has done any good - - because there is no justice system which will prosecute those criminal leftist politicians.

The justice department has become adept at ignoring blockbusters. Move on folks, keep your heads down, eyes closed and keep looking.

Vice President Kamala Harris spoke in Connecticut this week and laughed maniacally when discussing the hardships and struggles parents faced during this past year of pandemic-inspired restrictions. Now more than a year in COVID-closures, parents saw a lack of education, child care, or community support as they tried to make sure their kids were cared for, educated, and that they were able to continue providing for the health and welfare of those kids. Harris seemed to find this marvelously funny.

Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee on Friday signed a bill into law that will prohibit transgender students from playing on the team of the sex with which they identify, one of numerous such bills currently working their way through statehouses around the country. Tennessee’s H.B. 3 directs that "a student's gender for purposes of participation in a public middle school or high school interscholastic athletic activity or event must be determined by the student's sex at the time of the student's birth, as indicated on the student's original birth certificate."

The chaos unfolded as a planned right-wing protest and Antifa counter-protest were scheduled in Salem for the same day. Police received reports of vehicles driving past the Capitol being struck with balloons filled with paint as well as green lasers being pointed at drivers.

You know who is laughing right now? Nikki! Haley is, because Kristi Noem may have derailed her own electoral freight train as it rolled down the conservative governortrix tracks toward the GOP nom in 2024. Now, Nikki! is a total non-starter, though she doesn’t seem to realize it. Her astonishingly weak submission to the forces that hate us – she was not to be seen at CPAC because she would have been booed – has totally killed her dreams, though the GOP establishment has this fantasy that she can cruise into the White House by pretending to be hardcore when she’s just Jeb! in a skirt.

Becerra, who also previously served in the House of Representatives, was confirmed 50-49, with Maine Republican Sen. Susan Collins joining Democrats in voting for him. The vote was the closest of any of President Joe Biden’s Cabinet nominees so far due to near unanimous Republican objections, citing Becerra’s stance on abortion and alleging that his only health care experience came from suing to protect the Affordable Care Act.

Reporters accompanying Jill Biden on a trip to California spotted the brown stuff on the red-carpeted hallway as they waited just inside the mansion to be escorted to the first lady’s motorcade. It was unclear which pooch—Major or Champ—dropped the poo. Earlier this week, Major, the younger dog, was involved in his second biting incident in March.
