NCAA issues stern warning as Texas Senate

Amid all the talk of boycotts and corporate criticism of election bills going through the Texas Legislature, major resistance is shaping up to another top priority of Republican state lawmakers. With the Texas Senate set to debate a bill to ban transgender girls from competing in girls’ interscholastic sports, the NCAA recently issued a warning that it is watching the legislation. NCAA policies allow transgender athletes to participate without limitation. “The NCAA continues to closely monitor state bills that impact transgender student-athlete participation,” NCAA officials said in a statement to the Houston Chronicle. “The NCAA believes in fair and respectful student-athlete participation at all levels of sport. Texas is a big enough state not to need the NCAA. We would be better off without them. The universities want to be members so they can get more tv money, build more buildings, pay themselves larger salaries, and import more foreign students, as American citizens cannot afford them.

The NCAA should focus on sports--not social issues, gender issues, or other woke causes. They forced North Dakota to change their mascot name from the Fighting Sioux, but backed off from the Florida State Seminoles because they were not afraid to take on a small state, but Florida scared them. Don't mess with Texas.

There's something very creepy about the NCAA "warning" our ELECTED representatives to comply with demands harmful to female athletes. There is no legitimate reason for requiring women to "compete" against men pretending to be women, nor is it appropriate for women to be forced to "share" bathrooms, dressing rooms, locker rooms or showers with naked men.
