The basic problem is that the people expect their own government to watch out for them and do what is best for them. That is delusional.

But only an "untreatable," "potentially fatal" disease could have taken Trump out. So there was that, too. People I know who got the disease were sent home with no treatment. That wouldn't have even happened if they had a regular cold. The lucky ones knew to up their lysine intake and avoid arginine-containing foods.

A big driver of the CCP virus Semmelweis Reflex is the benefit to tyrants at many levels for the control they can exercise over cowered and compliant people. I got chased out of a business twice yesterday by two different "Karens." A person can sit in a restaurant without a mask but sit in a mostly empty car showroom 30 feet from one of these Karens and they will demand that you respect their control. This won't change anytime soon. The Karens willingly want to remain ignorant. Two of the greatest Karens are the governor of this state and the president.

Many years ago, a book was written about this doctor. If I remember the tile correctly, it was called "Cry of the Covenant".. In it he decried the fact that doctors would go from one delivery to another and never wash their hands while the midwives were very clean and did so. Doctors were so posseted with egomania they believed they didn't have germs. The same with Covid. Sunlight, fresh air and good nutrition are the midwife solution while the "scientists" are having people breathe into masks, expelling dirty air only to breathe it back in the crud that sticks to the mask. But then "cui bono?'

The real question is "How do I locate a doctor who will treat me with ivermectin in the short time between getting the disease and it being too late to do 'early treatment'?" I have zero confidence that my current internal medicine doc will do anything along these lines. I have made a serious effort to get a new doc, been rebuffed by several large practices "not taking Medicare patients", and one that will take Medicare patients, the earliest appointment I can get with a doc that was recommended is October, but they have 'temporarily' stopped accepting new appointments with that giant, intractable backlog. WHAT THE HECK?

I have met with doctors over serious medical conditions with myself and family members. We have discussed in detail treatments and without exception, they want to use the latest and most expensive drug therapies while shunning INEXPENSIVE treatments that actually work. My 16 year old was diagnosed with Crohn's 7 years ago. They wanted to sign him on to Remicade infusions to the tune of about 13K each and something like 8 in the first year. We discovered Low Does Naltrexone at a cost of 15 dollars per month RETAIL. The doctors thought we were idiots. They also told us that DIET had nothing to do with Crohn's... but then told us that some foods would make it worse while, quizzically, none would make it better... think about that for a second. So, 7 years later. If my son watches his diet and takes his LDN he is in 100% remission. Frankly, Atlanta's 'finest pediatric gastroenterologist group' seemed more like Remicade reps than physicians. Doctors are not to be trusted. Do your own research. Read all you can about a condition. You might be surprised to learn that money drives the medical trade.

I saw a wonderful old B&W movie about Dr. Semmelwies; I can't remember the title. And, per 7, it is mentioned that doctors not only went from delivery to delivery without hand washing, but even from the dissection cadavers to deliveries! This quote, FTA: 'In short, what we have here is a near complete failure to respond to the COVID crisis due to our reflex-like tendency to reject new knowledge (i.e., that COVID can be effectively treated) because it contradicts the established belief that COVID cannot be effectively treated.' Add to this, the Deep State conspiracy to evict PDJT and assume dictatorial control of the USA.

Karma is coming calling for the disgraceful teachers’ unions that have kept children from attending school for a year in much of the country. Successfully shaking down the federal government for 9 figures’ worth of additional funding, they have ignored the science that says young children are at almost no risk from Covid. From the very first moment of Biden’s first press conference, one could tell that the days of Trump press conferences were gone. You remember those days, don’t you? Gotcha questions, lectures, fights, interruptions, blatant disrespect – not from Trump, but from the media. It was they who created a sense of chaos and divisiveness, not Trump. It was very different this time. The media were on their best behavior but even they couldn’t protect Biden from himself. Other posts here address more substantive issues raised in the press conference. This is just about style points for both Biden and the media.
